Psalm 101

1 I WILL sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes; I hate the doers of evil, they shall not come near to me.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know not evil.

5 He who accuses his neighbor falsely will I destroy; with him who has a high look and a proud heart I will not eat.

6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way shall serve me.

7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8 In the early morning I will silence all the wicked of the earth; and I will destroy all the doers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.

1 Молитва страдальца, когда он падает духом и в сетовании изливает пред ГОСПОДОМ душу свою

2 Внемли, ГОСПОДИ, молитве моей, и мой вопль пусть дойдет до Тебя!

3 Не отворачивайся от меня в день скорби моей. Склонись и услышь меня, поспеши ответить, когда к Тебе взываю я.

4 Дни мои исчезают, как дым, горят мои кости, как угли тлеющие.

5 Сердце мое иссохло, словно трава скошенная, так что и хлеб свой я есть забываю.

6 От громких стенаний моих от меня лишь кожа да кости остались.

7 Сове в пустыне стал я подобен, уподобился филину на развалинах.

8 Не сплю и горюю, как одинокая птица на кровле дома.
