Psalm 146

1 PRAISE the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 While I live will I praise the LORD; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that therein is; who keeps truth for ever;

7 Who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD releases the prisoners;

8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; the LORD raises those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous;

9 The LORD takes care of the poor; he feeds the fatherless and widows; but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD.

1 Аллилуйя! Какое это благо — петь псалмы Богу нашему! Приятно, да нам и подобает петь хвалу Ему.

2 Созидает ГОСПОДЬ Иерусалим, собирает Он вместе изгнанников Израиля.

3 Исцеляет он тех, чье сердце разбито, и врачует раны их.

4 Определяет Он и само число звезд и каждой из них дает имя.

5 Велик Господь наш, и велико могущество Его, беспредельна мудрость Его.

6 ГОСПОДЬ поддерживает униженных, а нечестивых повергает наземь.

7 Пойте ГОСПОДУ, благодарите Его, пойте, играя на лире, хвалебную песнь Богу нашему.

8 Он небо покрывает облаками и шлет на землю дождь; Он одевает холмы травою,

9 скоту пищу Он дает и кормит даже воронят, когда те кричат.

10 Радуется Он не силе коня, не быстроте ног человеческих,
