1 И было ко мне слово1697 Господне:3068

2 сын1121 человеческий!120 изреки1696 слово к сынам1121 народа5971 твоего и скажи559 им: если Я на какую-либо землю776 наведу935 меч,2719 и народ5971 той земли776 возьмет3947 из среды7097 себя человека259376 и поставит5414 его у себя стражем;6822

3 и он, увидев7200 меч,2719 идущий935 на землю,776 затрубит8628 в трубу7782 и предостережет2094 народ;5971

4 и если кто будет8085 слушать8085 голос6963 трубы,7782 но не остережет2094 себя, — то, когда меч2719 придет935 и захватит3947 его, кровь1818 его будет на его голове.7218

5 Голос6963 трубы7782 он слышал,8085 но не остерег2094 себя, кровь1818 его на нем будет; а кто остерегся,2094 тот спас4422 жизнь5315 свою.

6 Если же страж6822 видел7200 идущий935 меч2719 и не затрубил8628 в трубу,7782 и народ5971 не был2094 предостережен,2094 — то, когда придет935 меч2719 и отнимет3947 у кого из них жизнь,5315 сей схвачен3947 будет3947 за грех5771 свой, но кровь1818 его взыщу1875 от руки3027 стража.6822

7 И тебя, сын1121 человеческий,120 Я поставил5414 стражем6822 дому1004 Израилеву,3478 и ты будешь8085 слышать8085 из уст6310 Моих слово1697 и вразумлять2094 их от Меня.

8 Когда Я скажу559 беззаконнику:7563 «беззаконник!7563 ты смертью4191 умрешь»,4191 а ты не будешь1696 ничего говорить,1696 чтобы предостеречь2094 беззаконника7563 от пути1870 его, — то беззаконник7563 тот умрет4191 за грех5771 свой, но кровь1818 его взыщу1245 от руки3027 твоей.

9 Если же ты остерегал2094 беззаконника7563 от пути1870 его, чтобы он обратился7725 от него, но он от пути1870 своего не обратился,7725 — то он умирает4191 за грех5771 свой, а ты спас5337 душу5315 твою.

10 И ты, сын1121 человеческий,120 скажи559 дому1004 Израилеву:3478 вы говорите559 так: «преступления6588 наши и грехи2403 наши на нас, и мы истаеваем4743 в них: как же можем мы жить?2421»

11 Скажи559 им: живу2416 Я, говорит5002 Господь136 Бог:3069 не хочу2654 смерти4194 грешника,7563 но чтобы грешник7563 обратился7725 от пути1870 своего и жив2421 был.2421 Обратитесь,7725 обратитесь7725 от злых7451 путей1870 ваших; для чего умирать4191 вам, дом1004 Израилев?3478

12 И ты, сын1121 человеческий,120 скажи559 сынам1121 народа5971 твоего: праведность6666 праведника6662 не спасет5337 в день3117 преступления6588 его, и беззаконник7564 за беззаконие7563 свое не падет3782 в день3117 обращения7725 от беззакония7562 своего, равно как и праведник6662 в день3117 согрешения2398 своего не может3201 остаться2421 в живых2421 за свою праведность.

13 Когда Я скажу559 праведнику,6662 что он будет2421 жив,2421 а он понадеется982 на свою праведность6666 и сделает6213 неправду,5766 — то все праведные6666 дела6666 его не помянутся,2142 и он умрет4191 от неправды5766 своей, какую сделал.6213

14 А когда скажу559 беззаконнику:7563 «ты смертью4191 умрешь»,4191 и он обратится7725 от грехов2403 своих и будет6213 творить6213 суд4941 и правду,6666

15 если этот беззаконник7563 возвратит7725 залог,2258 за похищенное1500 заплатит,7999 будет1980 ходить1980 по законам2708 жизни,2416 не делая6213 ничего худого,5766 — то он будет2421 жив,2421 не умрет.4191

16 Ни один из грехов2403 его, какие он сделал,2398 не помянется2142 ему; он стал6213 творить6213 суд4941 и правду,6666 он будет2421 жив.2421

17 А сыны1121 народа5971 твоего говорят:559 «неправ8505 путь1870 Господа»,136 тогда как их путь1870 неправ.8505

18 Когда праведник6662 отступил7725 от праведности6666 своей и начал6213 делать6213 беззаконие,5766 — то он умрет4191 за то.

19 И когда беззаконник7563 обратился7725 от беззакония7564 своего и стал6213 творить6213 суд4941 и правду,6666 он будет2421 за то жив.2421

20 А вы говорите:559 «неправ8505 путь1870 Господа!136» Я буду8199 судить8199 вас, дом1004 Израилев,3478 каждого376 по путям1870 его.

21 В двенадцатом81476240 году8141 нашего переселения,1546 в десятом6224 месяце, в пятый2568 день месяца,2320 пришел935 ко мне один из спасшихся6412 из Иерусалима3389 и сказал:559 «разрушен5221 город!5892»

22 Но еще до3942 прихода935 сего спасшегося6412 вечером6153 была на мне рука3027 Господа,3068 и Он открыл6605 мне уста,6310 прежде нежели тот пришел935 ко мне поутру.1242 И открылись6605 уста6310 мои, и я уже не был481 безмолвен.481

23 И было ко мне слово1697 Господне:3068

24 сын1121 человеческий!120 живущие3427 на опустелых2723 местах2723 в земле127 Израилевой3478 говорят:559 «Авраам85 был один,259 и получил3423 во владение3423 землю776 сию, а нас много;7227 итак нам дана5414 земля776 сия во владение».4181

25 Посему скажи559 им: так говорит559 Господь136 Бог:3069 вы едите398 с кровью1818 и поднимаете5375 глаза5869 ваши к идолам1544 вашим, и проливаете8210 кровь;1818 и хотите владеть3423 землею?776

26 Вы опираетесь5975 на меч2719 ваш, делаете6213 мерзости,8441 оскверняете2930 один376 жену802 другого,7453 и хотите владеть3423 землею?776

27 Вот что скажи559 им: так говорит559 Господь136 Бог:3069 живу2416 Я! те, которые на местах2723 разоренных,2723 падут5307 от меча;2719 а кто в59216440 поле,7704 того отдам5414 зверям2416 на съедение;398 а которые в укреплениях4679 и пещерах,4631 те умрут4191 от моровой1698 язвы.1698

28 И сделаю5414 землю776 пустынею4923 из пустынь,8077 и гордое1347 могущество5797 ее престанет,7673 и горы2022 Израилевы3478 опустеют,8074 так что не будет5674 проходящих.5674

29 И узнают,3045 что Я Господь,3068 когда сделаю5414 землю776 пустынею4923 из пустынь8077 за все мерзости8441 их, какие они делали.6213

30 А о тебе, сын1121 человеческий,120 сыны1121 народа5971 твоего разговаривают1696 у681 стен7023 и в дверях6607 домов1004 и говорят1696 один2297 другому,259 брат376 брату:251 «пойдите935 и послушайте,8085 какое слово1697 вышло3318 от Господа».3068

31 И они приходят935 к тебе, как на народное5971 сходбище,3996 и садится3427 перед лицем3942 твоим народ5971 Мой, и слушают8085 слова1697 твои, но не исполняют6213 их; ибо они в устах6310 своих делают6213 из этого забаву,5690 сердце3820 их увлекается1980 за310 корыстью1215 их.

32 И вот, ты для них — как забавный5690 певец7892 с приятным3303 голосом6963 и хорошо2895 играющий;5059 они слушают8085 слова1697 твои, но не исполняют6213 их.

33 Но когда сбудется,935 — вот, уже и сбывается,935 — тогда узнают,3045 что среди8432 них был пророк.5030

Chapter 33

1 AND the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, speak to your own people and say to them, When I bring the sword upon a land, let the people of the land take a man from among them and make him their watchman.

3 And when he sees the sword coming upon them, he shall blow the trumpet and warn the people;

4 Then whosoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not heed the warning, if the sword should come and take his life away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 But if he should take heed, he shall deliver his life.

6 But when the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and does not warn the people, and the sword comes and takes the life from among them, that life is taken away in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at the watchman's hand.

7 So you, O Son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore you shall hear the word from my mouth, you shall warn them from me.

8 When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; and you do not speak to the wicked man that he may take heed from his evil way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hands.

9 Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked that he may turn from his evil way; and if he does not turn from his evil way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

10 You therefore, O Son of man, say to the house of Israel. Thus have you spoken, saying, Our iniquity and our sins be upon us, and we are pining away in them; how can we live?

11 Say to them, As I live, says the LORD God, I do not desire the death of the wicked; but that the wicked should turn from his evil way and live; therefore you must repent and turn from your evil ways, and you shall not die, O house of Israel.

12 Therefore, Son of man, say to your own people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day that he sins; as for the iniquity of the wicked, he shall not fall by it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.

13 When I shall say to the righteous that he shall surely live, and he trusts in his own righteousness and then commits iniquity, all his righteousness which he had done shall not be remembered to him; but for the iniquity which he has committed, he shall die.

14 Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die, and he turns from his sins and does that which is just and right,

15 And he shall restore the pledge which he has taken and return what he has acquired unjustly and walk in the commandments of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered to him; but by the justice and righteousness which he has done, he shall surely live.

17 Yet your people say, The way of the LORD is not fair; but it is their own ways that are not fair.

18 When a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die in his iniquity.

19 And when a wicked man turns from his wickedness and does that which is just and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Yet you say, The way of the LORD is not fair; O house of Israel, I will judge every one of you according to his ways.

21 And it came to pass in the eleventh year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped from Jerusalem came and said to me, The city has been destroyed.

22 Now the hand of the LORD had been upon me in the evening, before he who had escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened and I was dumb no more.

23 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

24 Son of man, those who inhabit these waste places of the land of Israel are saying, Abraham was only one man, and yet he inherited the land; but we are many; are we not going to inherit it?

25 Therefore say to them, Thus says the LORD God: Because you eat meat with the blood and lift up your eyes toward your idols and drink blood, do you expect to inherit the land?

26 You rely on your swords, you commit abomination, and you defile every one his neighbor's wife; and do you expect to inherit the land?

27 Say to them, Thus says the LORD God: As I live, all of those who dwell in the waste places shall fall by the sword; and he that is in the open field, I will give to the wild beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

28 For I will lay the land desolate and waste, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land desolate and waste because of their abominations which they have committed.

30 And as for you, O Son of man, your people are gossiping about you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come and hear what is the word that comes forth from the LORD.

31 And the people come to you and sit before you, and they hear your words, but they will not do them, because their mouths are full of falsehood and they follow after the thoughts of their own hearts.

32 And, lo, you are to them like a song and like a pleasant voice and like the sweet sound of a harp; for they hear your words, but they do them not.

33 And when your words shall come to pass, then they shall know that you are a prophet among them.

4 Then whosoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not heed the warning, if the sword should come and take his life away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 But if he should take heed, he shall deliver his life.

6 But when the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and does not warn the people, and the sword comes and takes the life from among them, that life is taken away in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at the watchman's hand.

7 И тебя, сын1121 человеческий,120 Я поставил5414 стражем6822 дому1004 Израилеву,3478 и ты будешь8085 слышать8085 из уст6310 Моих слово1697 и вразумлять2094 их от Меня.

7 So you, O Son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore you shall hear the word from my mouth, you shall warn them from me.

8 When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; and you do not speak to the wicked man that he may take heed from his evil way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hands.

9 Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked that he may turn from his evil way; and if he does not turn from his evil way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

10 И ты, сын1121 человеческий,120 скажи559 дому1004 Израилеву:3478 вы говорите559 так: «преступления6588 наши и грехи2403 наши на нас, и мы истаеваем4743 в них: как же можем мы жить?2421»

10 You therefore, O Son of man, say to the house of Israel. Thus have you spoken, saying, Our iniquity and our sins be upon us, and we are pining away in them; how can we live?

11 Say to them, As I live, says the LORD God, I do not desire the death of the wicked; but that the wicked should turn from his evil way and live; therefore you must repent and turn from your evil ways, and you shall not die, O house of Israel.

12 И ты, сын1121 человеческий,120 скажи559 сынам1121 народа5971 твоего: праведность6666 праведника6662 не спасет5337 в день3117 преступления6588 его, и беззаконник7564 за беззаконие7563 свое не падет3782 в день3117 обращения7725 от беззакония7562 своего, равно как и праведник6662 в день3117 согрешения2398 своего не может3201 остаться2421 в живых2421 за свою праведность.

12 Therefore, Son of man, say to your own people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day that he sins; as for the iniquity of the wicked, he shall not fall by it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.

13 Когда Я скажу559 праведнику,6662 что он будет2421 жив,2421 а он понадеется982 на свою праведность6666 и сделает6213 неправду,5766 — то все праведные6666 дела6666 его не помянутся,2142 и он умрет4191 от неправды5766 своей, какую сделал.6213

13 When I shall say to the righteous that he shall surely live, and he trusts in his own righteousness and then commits iniquity, all his righteousness which he had done shall not be remembered to him; but for the iniquity which he has committed, he shall die.

14 А когда скажу559 беззаконнику:7563 «ты смертью4191 умрешь»,4191 и он обратится7725 от грехов2403 своих и будет6213 творить6213 суд4941 и правду,6666

14 Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die, and he turns from his sins and does that which is just and right,

15 если этот беззаконник7563 возвратит7725 залог,2258 за похищенное1500 заплатит,7999 будет1980 ходить1980 по законам2708 жизни,2416 не делая6213 ничего худого,5766 — то он будет2421 жив,2421 не умрет.4191

15 And he shall restore the pledge which he has taken and return what he has acquired unjustly and walk in the commandments of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered to him; but by the justice and righteousness which he has done, he shall surely live.

17 Yet your people say, The way of the LORD is not fair; but it is their own ways that are not fair.

18 When a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die in his iniquity.

19 And when a wicked man turns from his wickedness and does that which is just and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Yet you say, The way of the LORD is not fair; O house of Israel, I will judge every one of you according to his ways.

21 And it came to pass in the eleventh year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped from Jerusalem came and said to me, The city has been destroyed.

22 Но еще до3942 прихода935 сего спасшегося6412 вечером6153 была на мне рука3027 Господа,3068 и Он открыл6605 мне уста,6310 прежде нежели тот пришел935 ко мне поутру.1242 И открылись6605 уста6310 мои, и я уже не был481 безмолвен.481

22 Now the hand of the LORD had been upon me in the evening, before he who had escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened and I was dumb no more.

23 И было ко мне слово1697 Господне:3068

23 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

24 сын1121 человеческий!120 живущие3427 на опустелых2723 местах2723 в земле127 Израилевой3478 говорят:559 «Авраам85 был один,259 и получил3423 во владение3423 землю776 сию, а нас много;7227 итак нам дана5414 земля776 сия во владение».4181

24 Son of man, those who inhabit these waste places of the land of Israel are saying, Abraham was only one man, and yet he inherited the land; but we are many; are we not going to inherit it?

25 Посему скажи559 им: так говорит559 Господь136 Бог:3069 вы едите398 с кровью1818 и поднимаете5375 глаза5869 ваши к идолам1544 вашим, и проливаете8210 кровь;1818 и хотите владеть3423 землею?776

28 For I will lay the land desolate and waste, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 И узнают,3045 что Я Господь,3068 когда сделаю5414 землю776 пустынею4923 из пустынь8077 за все мерзости8441 их, какие они делали.6213

29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land desolate and waste because of their abominations which they have committed.

30 А о тебе, сын1121 человеческий,120 сыны1121 народа5971 твоего разговаривают1696 у681 стен7023 и в дверях6607 домов1004 и говорят1696 один2297 другому,259 брат376 брату:251 «пойдите935 и послушайте,8085 какое слово1697 вышло3318 от Господа».3068

30 And as for you, O Son of man, your people are gossiping about you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come and hear what is the word that comes forth from the LORD.

31 И они приходят935 к тебе, как на народное5971 сходбище,3996 и садится3427 перед лицем3942 твоим народ5971 Мой, и слушают8085 слова1697 твои, но не исполняют6213 их; ибо они в устах6310 своих делают6213 из этого забаву,5690 сердце3820 их увлекается1980 за310 корыстью1215 их.

31 And the people come to you and sit before you, and they hear your words, but they will not do them, because their mouths are full of falsehood and they follow after the thoughts of their own hearts.

32 И вот, ты для них — как забавный5690 певец7892 с приятным3303 голосом6963 и хорошо2895 играющий;5059 они слушают8085 слова1697 твои, но не исполняют6213 их.

32 And, lo, you are to them like a song and like a pleasant voice and like the sweet sound of a harp; for they hear your words, but they do them not.

33 Но когда сбудется,935 — вот, уже и сбывается,935 — тогда узнают,3045 что среди8432 них был пророк.5030

33 And when your words shall come to pass, then they shall know that you are a prophet among them.
