2 Затем Дух спустился ко мне и поднял меня на ноги, и тогда я услышал Того (Бога), Который со мной говорил. |

4 Я тебя посылаю говорить с теми людьми. Они очень упрямы и непокорны, но ты должен говорить с ними, ты должен сказать им: „Так говорит наш Господь Всемогущий!” |
|
5 Но не будут слушать тебя эти люди и не остановятся в грехах своих, потому что они мятежны и отворачиваются от Меня, но ты должен передать им эти слова, чтобы знали они, что есть пророк, живущий среди них. |
|
6 Сын человеческий, не пугайся тех людей, а также не бойся того, что они говорят. Они обернутся против тебя и попытаются причинить тебе вред. Их язвительные слова будут подобны острым шипам, жалящим словно скорпионы, но тебе не стоит бояться ни их самих, ни их слов. Ты должен передать им то, что Я говорю, даже если они тебя слушать не станут, потому что в упрямстве своём они никогда никого не слушают. |

8 Ты должен слышать, сын человеческий, что Я тебе говорю: „Не уподобляйся тем мятежным людям, открой свои уста и Мной данные слова прими, насыться ими, чтобы людям говорить”». |

10 Когда я развернул этот свиток, то увидел слова предупреждений, горя и печали, которые были записаны с обеих сторон. |

1 AND he said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet and I will speak with you. |
|
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and he set me upon my feet, and I heard him that spoke to me. |
|
3 And he said to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people who have risen up against me; they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. |
|
4 And they to whom I am sending you are impudent and stubborn children; and you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD God of hosts. |
|
5 Perhaps they will listen and tremble (for they are a rebellious house), and they shall know that you are a prophet among them. |
|
6 And you, Son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be dismayed by their words, for they will deny you and denounce you; for you dwell among scorpions; fear not their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. |
|
7 And you shall speak my words to them; perhaps they will listen and tremble; for they are a rebellious house. |
|
8 But you, Son of man, hear what I say to you; and be not rebellious like that rebellious house: but open your mouth and eat what I shall give you. |
|
9 And when I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me; and, lo, a scroll of a book was in it. |
|
10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without; and there were written in it chants, woes, and lamentations. |

1 AND he said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet and I will speak with you. |

2 Затем Дух спустился ко мне и поднял меня на ноги, и тогда я услышал Того (Бога), Который со мной говорил. |
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and he set me upon my feet, and I heard him that spoke to me. |

3 And he said to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people who have risen up against me; they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. |

4 Я тебя посылаю говорить с теми людьми. Они очень упрямы и непокорны, но ты должен говорить с ними, ты должен сказать им: „Так говорит наш Господь Всемогущий!” |
4 And they to whom I am sending you are impudent and stubborn children; and you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD God of hosts. |

5 Perhaps they will listen and tremble (for they are a rebellious house), and they shall know that you are a prophet among them. |

8 But you, Son of man, hear what I say to you; and be not rebellious like that rebellious house: but open your mouth and eat what I shall give you. |
