1 HEAR my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. |
|
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; for thou hast led me upon a rock and hast comforted me. |
|
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from my enemies, |
|
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will make my refuge the shadow of thy wings. |
|
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given an inheritance to them that revere thy name. |
|
6 Thou hast added days to the days of the king, and his years as many generations. |
|
7 He shall be established before God for ever; mercy and justice shall preserve him. |
|
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, when daily I fulfil my vows. |

2 Тільки від Бога чекай у мовча́нні, о душе́ моя, від Нього спасі́ння моє! |
|
3 Тільки Він моя ске́ля й спасі́ння моє, Він тверди́ня моя, — тому́ не захита́юся дуже! |
|
4 Доки бу́дете ви напада́ти на люди́ну? Усі хочете ви розтрощи́ти її, немов мур той похи́лений, мов би парка́н той валю́щий! |
|
5 Вони́ тільки й ду́мають, я́к би зіпхнути її з висоти, вони полюбили непра́вду: благословляють своїми уста́ми, в своєму ж нутрі́ проклинають! Се́ла. |
|
6 Тільки від Бога чекай у мовча́нні, о душе́ моя, бо від Нього надія моя! |
|
7 Тільки Він моя скеля й спасі́ння моє, Він тверди́ня моя, — тому́ не захитаюсь! |
|
8 У Бозі спасі́ння моє й моя слава, скеля сили моєї, моє пристано́вище в Бозі! |
