1 I WAS glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the LORD.

2 My feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.

3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is surrounded by a wall,

4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5 For there are thrones of judgment set, the thrones of the house of David.

6 Greet Jerusalem with peace; they shall prosper who love you.

7 Peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces.

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.

9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good.

1 Пісня проча́н. Свої о́чі я зво́джу до Тебе, що на небеса́х пробува́єш!
2 Ото бо, як очі рабів до руки́ їх панів, як очі неві́льниці — до руки́ її пані, отак наші очі до Го́спода, нашого Бога, аж поки не зми́лується Він над нами!
3 Помилуй нас, Господи, помилуй нас, бо пого́рди ми до́сить наси́тились!
4 Душа наша наси́тилась до́сить собі: від безпе́чних — нару́ги, від пи́шних — пого́рди!
