Chapter 43

1 AFTERWARD he brought me to the gate that looks toward the east.

2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the direction of the east; and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.

3 And the vision I saw was like the vision which I had seen when I came to announce the destruction of the city, and like the vision which I had seen by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

4 And the glory of the LORD came into the temple through the gate that looks toward the east.

5 And the spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple.

6 And I heard someone speaking to me out of the temple; and the man was standing by me.

7 And he said to me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall be no more defiled, and my holy name shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they nor their kings, by their whoredom nor with the corpses of their kings and with their idols.

8 For they used to make their gates beside my gates, and their door posts beside my doorposts, and there was only a wall between me and them; they have even defiled my holy name by the iniquities which they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the corpses of their kings from my presence, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 But you, Son of man, show to the house of Israel this temple, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities which they transgressed against me; and let them study the pattern thereof.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its fashion and its entrances and its exits and all its forms and all its laws and ordinances, and draw the plans in their sight, that they may keep the whole design thereof, and all its form, and do them.

12 This is the vision of the house upon the top of the mountain; and all its borders round about are most holy.

13 And these are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth): even the base shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and its border to its edges round about shall be a span, and likewise on its sides.

14 And from the bottom on the ground to the lower seat shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lower seat to the higher seat shall be four cubits, and the breadth, one cubit.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward there shall be four horns.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

17 And the seat shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in its four squares: and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the base of it shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.

18 And he said to me, Son of man, thus says the LORD God: These are the ordinances of the altar on the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings upon it and to sprinkle blood upon it.

19 And you shall give to the priests and the Levites of the descendants of Zadok, who draw near to me to minister to me, says the LORD God, a young bullock for a sin offering.

20 And you shall take some of its blood, and sprinkle it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the seat, and upon the border round about; thus shall you sprinkle blood on it, and it shall be cleansed.

21 You shall take the bullock also of the sin offering, and they shall take it to the side of the temple and burn it outside of the sanctuary.

22 And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bullock.

23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 And you shall offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall put salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to the LORD,

25 For seven days they shall offer daily a he-goat for the sin offering; they shall also offer a young bullock and a ram out of the flock without blemish

26 For seven days they shall make offerings and shall cleanse the altar: and they shall consecrate themselves.

27 And when these days are expired, that is from the seventh day forward, then the priests shall make offerings upon the altar, both their burnt offerings and their peace offerings; and I will be pleased with them, says the LORD God.

2 Там, с востока, шла слава Бога Израиля, голос Бога был громким, как шум моря, и земля светилась от Его славы.

3 Это видение напоминало то видение, которое явилось мне, когда Он пришёл, чтобы разрушить город. Оно было подобно тому видению, которое я видел возле канала Кебар. И тогда я преклонил лицо до земли.

4 Слава Господа вошла в храм через ворота, выходящие на восток.

5 Тогда Дух поднял меня и привёл во внутренний двор, и слава Господа заполнила весь храм.

6 Я слышал, как кто-то со мной говорил в храме, а тот человек находился около меня.

7 Голос в храме сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, это место Моего престола и подножия, Я буду жить здесь среди людей Израиля вечно. Ни семья Израиля, ни цари, ни простые люди никогда больше не опозорят Моё святое имя, прелюбодействуя или хороня здесь мёртвые тела своих царей.

8 Они больше не опозорят Моё имя, располагая свой порог рядом с Моим порогом и свои двери рядом с Моими. В прошлом их отделяла от Меня стена, и они позорили каждый раз Моё имя, поэтому Я прогневался и уничтожил их.

9 Теперь же пусть они избавятся от своих грехов блудодейства и не будут больше грешить, хороня своих царей вблизи от Меня, и тогда Я буду жить среди них вечно.

10 А сейчас, сын человеческий, расскажи людям о храме и его устройстве. Тогда им будет стыдно за их грехи.

11 Если им станет стыдно за свои дела, позволь им увидеть красоту храма, узнать о его устройстве, а также обо всех его входах и выходах. Научи их всем правилам и законам храма и запиши всё это, чтобы они видели. И тогда они подчинятся всем законам и правилам храма и будут жить по ним.

12 Вот закон храма: всё пространство на вершине горы — Святая святых. Таков закон храма».

13 Вот размер алтаря в длинных локтях, где локоть равнялся локтю и ладони: основание составляло локоть глубиной и шириной, а обод по краю был высотой в одну пядь. Вот размер алтаря:

14 основание от земли до нижнего выступа было 2 локтя и 1 локоть в ширину. Расстояние от меньшего выступа до большего составляло 4 локтя, а его ширина была 2 локтя.

15 Часть алтаря, где горел огонь, была высотой в 4 локтя, а 4 угла выступали словно рога.

16 Жертвенник был квадратным: 12 локтей 10 длиной и 12 шириной.

17 Выступ был тоже квадратным: 14 локтей длиной и столько же шириной. Кайма вокруг была пол-локтя, а жёлоб вокруг него был шириной в локоть. Ступени, ведущие к алтарю, находились с восточной стороны.

18 И человек сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Таковы законы для алтаря в тот день, когда ты построишь алтарь и будешь воздавать жертвы всесожжения и окропления кровью.

19 Ты принесёшь в жертву быка за грехи семьи Садока, сыновей Левия, священников, которые будут служить Мне”. Так говорит Господь Бог:

20 „Ты возьмёшь кровь быка и окропишь четыре рога алтаря, четыре угла выступа, а также кайму вокруг, и тем самым ты очистишь алтарь.

21 Ты возьмёшь быка в жертву за грехи; его необходимо сжечь в специально отведённом месте во дворе за пределами храма.

22 На второй день ты принесёшь в жертву козла, который не имеет изъяна, и священники очистят алтарь так же, как очищали приношением быка.

23 Когда ты окончишь очищение алтаря, предложи молодого бычка без изъяна и барана из стада, который тоже без изъяна,

24 и принеси их перед Господом. Тогда священники посыплют их солью и воздадут как жертвы всесожжения.

25 В течение семи дней приноси каждый день козла за грехи, а также молодого быка и барана. Все они должны быть без изъяна.

26 Семь дней священники будут очищать алтарь, и тогда на нём можно будет приносить жертвы Богу.

27 После этого алтарь будет полностью очищен, а на восьмой день священники смогут возносить твои жертвы всесожжения и содружества, и Я приму тебя”». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.

2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the direction of the east; and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.

4 And the glory of the LORD came into the temple through the gate that looks toward the east.

7 Голос в храме сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, это место Моего престола и подножия, Я буду жить здесь среди людей Израиля вечно. Ни семья Израиля, ни цари, ни простые люди никогда больше не опозорят Моё святое имя, прелюбодействуя или хороня здесь мёртвые тела своих царей.

8 For they used to make their gates beside my gates, and their door posts beside my doorposts, and there was only a wall between me and them; they have even defiled my holy name by the iniquities which they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

8 Они больше не опозорят Моё имя, располагая свой порог рядом с Моим порогом и свои двери рядом с Моими. В прошлом их отделяла от Меня стена, и они позорили каждый раз Моё имя, поэтому Я прогневался и уничтожил их.

9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the corpses of their kings from my presence, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

9 Теперь же пусть они избавятся от своих грехов блудодейства и не будут больше грешить, хороня своих царей вблизи от Меня, и тогда Я буду жить среди них вечно.

10 But you, Son of man, show to the house of Israel this temple, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities which they transgressed against me; and let them study the pattern thereof.

10 А сейчас, сын человеческий, расскажи людям о храме и его устройстве. Тогда им будет стыдно за их грехи.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its fashion and its entrances and its exits and all its forms and all its laws and ordinances, and draw the plans in their sight, that they may keep the whole design thereof, and all its form, and do them.

11 Если им станет стыдно за свои дела, позволь им увидеть красоту храма, узнать о его устройстве, а также обо всех его входах и выходах. Научи их всем правилам и законам храма и запиши всё это, чтобы они видели. И тогда они подчинятся всем законам и правилам храма и будут жить по ним.

12 This is the vision of the house upon the top of the mountain; and all its borders round about are most holy.

12 Вот закон храма: всё пространство на вершине горы — Святая святых. Таков закон храма».

14 основание от земли до нижнего выступа было 2 локтя и 1 локоть в ширину. Расстояние от меньшего выступа до большего составляло 4 локтя, а его ширина была 2 локтя.

15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward there shall be four horns.

15 Часть алтаря, где горел огонь, была высотой в 4 локтя, а 4 угла выступали словно рога.

16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

16 Жертвенник был квадратным: 12 локтей 10 длиной и 12 шириной.

17 And the seat shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in its four squares: and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the base of it shall be a cubit round about; and its steps shall look toward the east.

17 Выступ был тоже квадратным: 14 локтей длиной и столько же шириной. Кайма вокруг была пол-локтя, а жёлоб вокруг него был шириной в локоть. Ступени, ведущие к алтарю, находились с восточной стороны.

18 And he said to me, Son of man, thus says the LORD God: These are the ordinances of the altar on the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings upon it and to sprinkle blood upon it.

18 И человек сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, Господь Всемогущий говорит: „Таковы законы для алтаря в тот день, когда ты построишь алтарь и будешь воздавать жертвы всесожжения и окропления кровью.

19 And you shall give to the priests and the Levites of the descendants of Zadok, who draw near to me to minister to me, says the LORD God, a young bullock for a sin offering.

19 Ты принесёшь в жертву быка за грехи семьи Садока, сыновей Левия, священников, которые будут служить Мне”. Так говорит Господь Бог:

20 And you shall take some of its blood, and sprinkle it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the seat, and upon the border round about; thus shall you sprinkle blood on it, and it shall be cleansed.

20 „Ты возьмёшь кровь быка и окропишь четыре рога алтаря, четыре угла выступа, а также кайму вокруг, и тем самым ты очистишь алтарь.

21 You shall take the bullock also of the sin offering, and they shall take it to the side of the temple and burn it outside of the sanctuary.

21 Ты возьмёшь быка в жертву за грехи; его необходимо сжечь в специально отведённом месте во дворе за пределами храма.

22 And on the second day you shall offer a he-goat without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bullock.

22 На второй день ты принесёшь в жертву козла, который не имеет изъяна, и священники очистят алтарь так же, как очищали приношением быка.

25 В течение семи дней приноси каждый день козла за грехи, а также молодого быка и барана. Все они должны быть без изъяна.

26 For seven days they shall make offerings and shall cleanse the altar: and they shall consecrate themselves.

26 Семь дней священники будут очищать алтарь, и тогда на нём можно будет приносить жертвы Богу.

27 And when these days are expired, that is from the seventh day forward, then the priests shall make offerings upon the altar, both their burnt offerings and their peace offerings; and I will be pleased with them, says the LORD God.

27 После этого алтарь будет полностью очищен, а на восьмой день священники смогут возносить твои жертвы всесожжения и содружества, и Я приму тебя”». Так сказал Господь Всемогущий.
