1 WHAT shall we then say? Shall we con tinue in sin, that grace may abound? |
|
2 Far be it. How shall we who are dead to sin, continue to live in it? |
|
3 Do you not know, that those of us who have been baptized into Jesus Christ have been baptized into his death? |
|
4 Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: so that as Jesus Christ arose from the dead by the glory of his Father, even so we also shall walk in a new life. |
|
5 For if we have been planted together with him in the likeness of his death, so shall we be also in the likeness of his resurrection: |
|
6 For we know, that our old selves are crucified with him, so that the sinful body might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. |
|
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. |
|
8 Now if we are dead with Christ, let us believe that we shall also live with Christ: |
|
9 We know that Christ rose from the dead, and dies no more; and that death has no more dominion over him. |
|
10 For in dying he died once to sin: and in living he lives to God. |
|
11 Likewise, you also must consider yourself as being dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our LORD. |
|
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. |
|
13 Neither should you yield your members as instruments of iniquity to sin: but yield yourselves to God, just as if you were men who had risen from among the dead, and let your members be instruments of righteousness to God. |
|
14 Sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are no longer under the law, but under grace. |
|
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law, but under grace? Far be it. |
|
16 Do you not know, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are, for you obey him, whether it be to sin or whether it be of obedience to righteousness? |
|
17 But thank God that you, who were once the servants of sin, now obey from the heart that form of doctrine which has been delivered to you. |
|
18 Now, being made free from sin, you become the servants of righteousness. |
|
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members to the servitude of uncleanness and iniquity, so now yield your members to the servitude of righteousness and holiness. |
|
20 For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. |
|
21 What kind of fruit did you have then, in the things of which you are now ashamed? for the end thereof is death. |
|
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, your fruits are holy, and the end thereof is life everlasting. |
|
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through our LORD Jesus Christ. |

2 Ни в коем случае! Мы умерли для греха, как же мы можем продолжать жить в нем? |
|
3 Неужели вы не знаете, что все мы, крестившиеся в Иисуса Христа, были крещены в Его смерть? |
|
4 Мы при крещении были погребены с Ним в смерть, чтобы жить новой жизнью, как и Христос был воскрешен из мертвых славой Отца. |
|
5 Если мы соединились с Ним подобием Его смерти, то будем соединены и подобием Его воскресения. |
|
6 Мы знаем, что наша прежняя греховная природа была распята с Ним для того, чтобы освободить нашу жизнь из-под власти греха, и чтобы мы не были более рабами греху, |
|
7 ведь умерший освобожден от греха. |
|

|
9 Мы знаем, что Христос воскрес из мертвых и больше не умрет: смерть уже не имеет власти над Ним. |
|
10 Когда Он умер, то умер для греха раз и навсегда, но живя, Он живет для Бога. |
|
11 Так же и вы смотрите на себя, как на мертвых для греха, но живых для Бога в Иисусе Христе. |
|

13 Не отдавайте членов вашего тела греху, в орудия неправедности. Лучше отдайте себя Богу, как оживших из мертвых, и члены вашего тела отдайте Ему в орудия праведности. |
|
14 Грех не должен господствовать над вами, потому что вы не под Законом, а под благодатью. |
|
15 |
|
16 Вы ведь знаете, что если вы отдаете себя кому-то в рабство, то делаетесь его покорными рабами: рабами греха, что ведет к смерти, или рабами послушания, что ведет к праведности. |
|
17 Но благодарение Богу, что вы, хотя и были рабами греха, решили всем сердцем следовать учению, которое вы получили. |
|
18 Вы освободились от греха и стали рабами праведности. |
|
19 Я говорю об этом простым языком, принимая в расчет ваше возможное недопонимание. |
|
20 Когда вы были рабами греха, вы были свободны от праведности. |
|
21 Какую же пользу вы получали тогда, совершая поступки, которых теперь стыдитесь? Их конец — смерть! |
|
22 Сейчас же вы освобождены от греха и стали рабами Бога, и плодом этого будет святость, а концом — вечная жизнь. |
|
23 Ведь возмездие за грех — смерть, а дар Божий — вечная жизнь в единении с Иисусом Христом, нашим Господом. |

14 Грех не должен господствовать над вами, потому что вы не под Законом, а под благодатью. |

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law, but under grace? Far be it. |

16 Do you not know, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are, for you obey him, whether it be to sin or whether it be of obedience to righteousness? |
16 Вы ведь знаете, что если вы отдаете себя кому-то в рабство, то делаетесь его покорными рабами: рабами греха, что ведет к смерти, или рабами послушания, что ведет к праведности. |

17 But thank God that you, who were once the servants of sin, now obey from the heart that form of doctrine which has been delivered to you. |
17 Но благодарение Богу, что вы, хотя и были рабами греха, решили всем сердцем следовать учению, которое вы получили. |
|
18 Now, being made free from sin, you become the servants of righteousness. |
18 Вы освободились от греха и стали рабами праведности. |
|
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the weakness of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members to the servitude of uncleanness and iniquity, so now yield your members to the servitude of righteousness and holiness. |
19 Я говорю об этом простым языком, принимая в расчет ваше возможное недопонимание. |
|
20 For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. |
20 Когда вы были рабами греха, вы были свободны от праведности. |
|
21 What kind of fruit did you have then, in the things of which you are now ashamed? for the end thereof is death. |
21 Какую же пользу вы получали тогда, совершая поступки, которых теперь стыдитесь? Их конец — смерть! |
|
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, your fruits are holy, and the end thereof is life everlasting. |
22 Сейчас же вы освобождены от греха и стали рабами Бога, и плодом этого будет святость, а концом — вечная жизнь. |
|
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through our LORD Jesus Christ. |
