Chapter 8

1 THERE is therefore no condemnation to them who walk in the flesh after the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Jesus Christ has made you free from the law of sin and death.

3 For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.

6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.

13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.

14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

16 And this Spirit bears witness to our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ; so that if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of all mankind waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For man was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who gave him free will in the hope he would choose rightly.

21 Because man himself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors in pain to this day.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our bodies.

24 For we live in hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for if we see it, why should we yet hope?

25 But if we hope for that which we do not see, then do we wait for it in patience.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses: for we do not know what is right and proper for us to pray for: but the Spirit prays for us with that earnestness which cannot be described.

27 And he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, for the Spirit prays for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 He knew them in advance and he marked them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

30 Moreover, those he did mark in advance, he has called, and those he has called, he has declared righteous, and those he has declared righteous, he has glorified.

31 What then shall we say concerning these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him?

33 Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.

35 What shall separate me from the love of Christ? tribulation, or imprisonment, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For your sake we die every day, and we are accounted as lambs for the slaughter.

37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our LORD.

Глава 8

1 Итак, нет теперь никакого осуждения для тех, которые во Христе Иисусе.

2 Ибо закон Духа жизни во Христе Иисусе освободил меня от закона греха и смерти.

3 Ибо по невозможности Закона, бессильного по вине плоти, Бог, послав Сына Своего в подобии плоти греха и по причине греха, осудил грех во плоти для того,

4 чтобы праведность, предписанная Законом, была исполнена в нас, не по плоти ходящих, но по духу.

5 Ибо живущие по плоти помышляют о плотском, а по духу — о духовном.

6 Ибо помышление плоти — смерть, а помышление духа — жизнь и мир,

7 потому что помышление плоти есть вражда к Богу, ибо Закону Божию оно не подчиняется, да и не может.

8 Те же, кто во плоти, Богу угодить не могут.

9 Но вы не во плоти, но в духе, если действительно Дух Божий живёт в вас. Если же кто Духа Христова не имеет, тот не Его.

10 Если же Христос в вас, то тело мертво чрез грех, но дух есть жизнь чрез праведность.

11 Если же Дух Того, Кто воздвиг Иисуса из мёртвых, живет в вас, то Воздвигший из мёртвых Христа Иисуса оживотворит и смертные тела ваши Духом Своим, живущим в вас.

12 Значит, братья, мы должники не плоти, чтобы по плоти жить.

13 Ибо если вы по плоти живёте, вам предстоит умереть; если же духом умерщвляете дела тела, будете жить.

14 Ибо Духом Божиим водимые, все — сыны Божии.

15 Ибо вы не приняли духа рабства, снова к страху, но приняли дух усыновления, которым взываем: Авва, Отче!

16 Сам Дух свидетельствует с духом нашим, что мы — дети Божии.

17 Если же дети, то и наследники: наследники Божии, сонаследники же Христовы, если мы действительно с Ним страдаем, чтобы с Ним же и быть прославленными.

18 Ибо я полагаю, что страдания нынешнего времени несравнимы с тою славою, которой предстоит открыться в нас.

19 Ибо тварь ждет с напряжением откровения сынов Божиих.

20 Ибо тварь была подчинена суете не по своей воле, но ради подчинившего её в надежде,

21 потому что тварь и сама будет освобождена от рабства тления в свободу славы детей Божиих.

22 Ибо мы знаем, что вся тварь вместе стонет и мучится родами доныне.

23 Более того, имея и сами начаток Духа, мы стонем и сами в себе, ожидая усыновления, искупления тела нашего.

24 Ибо мы были спасены в надежде. Но надежда, когда её видят, не есть надежда: ибо, если кто что видит, чего ему и надеяться?

25 Если же мы надеемся на то, чего не видим, мы ожидаем в терпении.

26 А также и Дух помогает немощи нашей: ибо о чём нам молиться, как надлежит, мы не знаем, но Сам Дух ходатайствует за нас воздыханиями неизреченными.

27 И Испытующий сердца знает, о чём помышление Духа, потому что Он ходатайствует за святых, как угодно Богу.

28 А мы знаем, что любящим Бога, призванным по предустановлению, Он во всём содействует ко благу,

29 потому что кого Он предузнал, тех и предопределил быть подобными образу Сына Своего, чтобы быть Ему первородным между многими братьями,

30 а кого предопределил, тех и призвал; и кого призвал, тех и оправдал; а кого оправдал, тех и прославил.

31 Что же мы скажем на это? Если Бог за нас, кто против нас?

32 Тот, Кто Сына Своего не пощадил, но предал Его за всех нас, как вместе с Ним не дарует нам и всего?

33 Кто станет обвинять избранных Божиих? Бог оправдывающий?

34 Кто осудит? Христос Иисус, умерший, но и восставший? Он, Который пребывает по правую сторону Бога? Он, Который и ходатайствует за нас?

35 Кто нас отлучит от любви Христовой: скорбь, или теснота, или гонение, или голод, или нагота, или опасность или меч?

36 Как написано: За Тебя умерщвляют нас целый день, сочли нас за овец, обречённых на заклание.

37 Но во всём этом мы торжествуем победу чрез Возлюбившего нас.

38 Ибо я убеждён, что ни смерть, ни жизнь, ни ангелы, ни начала, ни настоящее, ни будущее, ни силы,

39 ни высота, ни глубина, ни какая другая тварь не сможет нас отлучить от любви Божией во Христе Иисусе, Господе нашем.

1 Итак, нет теперь никакого осуждения для тех, которые во Христе Иисусе.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Jesus Christ has made you free from the law of sin and death.

2 Ибо закон Духа жизни во Христе Иисусе освободил меня от закона греха и смерти.

3 For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh:

3 Ибо по невозможности Закона, бессильного по вине плоти, Бог, послав Сына Своего в подобии плоти греха и по причине греха, осудил грех во плоти для того,

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

4 чтобы праведность, предписанная Законом, была исполнена в нас, не по плоти ходящих, но по духу.

5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.

5 Ибо живущие по плоти помышляют о плотском, а по духу — о духовном.

6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

6 Ибо помышление плоти — смерть, а помышление духа — жизнь и мир,

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

7 потому что помышление плоти есть вражда к Богу, ибо Закону Божию оно не подчиняется, да и не может.

8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.

8 Те же, кто во плоти, Богу угодить не могут.

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

9 Но вы не во плоти, но в духе, если действительно Дух Божий живёт в вас. Если же кто Духа Христова не имеет, тот не Его.

10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

10 Если же Христос в вас, то тело мертво чрез грех, но дух есть жизнь чрез праведность.

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

11 Если же Дух Того, Кто воздвиг Иисуса из мёртвых, живет в вас, то Воздвигший из мёртвых Христа Иисуса оживотворит и смертные тела ваши Духом Своим, живущим в вас.

12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.

12 Значит, братья, мы должники не плоти, чтобы по плоти жить.

13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.

13 Ибо если вы по плоти живёте, вам предстоит умереть; если же духом умерщвляете дела тела, будете жить.

14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

14 Ибо Духом Божиим водимые, все — сыны Божии.

15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

15 Ибо вы не приняли духа рабства, снова к страху, но приняли дух усыновления, которым взываем: Авва, Отче!

16 Сам Дух свидетельствует с духом нашим, что мы — дети Божии.

17 Если же дети, то и наследники: наследники Божии, сонаследники же Христовы, если мы действительно с Ним страдаем, чтобы с Ним же и быть прославленными.

24 Ибо мы были спасены в надежде. Но надежда, когда её видят, не есть надежда: ибо, если кто что видит, чего ему и надеяться?
