Psalm 111

1 PRAISE the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His works are great and glorious, and his righteousness endures for ever.

4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He has given food to them that revere him; he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He has shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the Gentiles.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice, and they endure for ever and ever.

8 All his commandments are sure, and are done in righteousness and truth.

9 He has sent salvation to his people; his covenant shall be remembered for ever; holy and revered is his name.

10 The reverence of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do his commandments; his praise endures for ever.

1 Аллилуйя! [1] Блажен человек, боящийся Господа, получающий большое наслаждение от Его повелений.

2 Могущественным будет на земле его потомство; поколение праведных благословится.

3 Изобилие и богатство будут в его доме, и его праведность будет пребывать вечно.

4 Для честных восходит свет во тьме, он милостив, милосерден и праведен.

5 Благо человеку, который великодушен и щедро дает взаймы, тому, кто ведет свои дела справедливо.

6 Он никогда не поколеблется; праведник будет в вечной памяти.

7 Не побоится плохих известий; сердце его твердо, уповая на Господа.

8 Сердце его крепко — он не испугается; он увидит падение своих врагов.

9 Он щедро раздал свое имущество бедным, и его праведность пребывает вовек, рог его вознесется в славе.

10 Нечестивый увидит и разозлится, заскрипит зубами и исчезнет. Желание нечестивых не сбудется.
