Psalm 91

1 HE who dwells in the protection of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from vain gossip.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor for the conspiracy that spreads in darkness; nor for the pestilence that wastes at noonday.

7 Thousands shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you behold the reward of the wicked.

9 For thou, O LORD, art my trust; thou hast established thy habitation in the highest.

10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the viper and adder; you shall trample under foot the lion and the great serpent.

14 Because he has loved me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

Псалом 91

1 Псалом Песнь на день субботний

2 Какое это счастье — благодарить ГОСПОДА, прославлять в песнях имя Твое, Всевышний,

3 утром возвещать Твою милость и ночью — верность Твою,

4 играя на лютне десятиструнной, на арфе и лире, торжественно звучащей!

5 Ты радуешь меня, ГОСПОДИ, творением Своим: делами рук Твоих я восхищаюсь.

6 Как величественны дела Твои, ГОСПОДИ, безмерно глубоки предначертания Твои!

7 Человек неразумный не признаёт того и не понимает невежда.

8 Нечестивые могут расти, как трава, и делающие зло процветать, но лишь для того, чтобы навеки исчезнуть;

9 а Ты, ГОСПОДИ, восседаешь на троне вовеки!

10 Враги Твои, ГОСПОДИ, враги Твои непременно погибнут, и рассеяны будут все делающие зло.

11 Мой рог Ты вознес, как буйвола рога, и умащен я свежим елеем.

12 Торжествуя, я могу смотреть на врагов своих и слушать об участи восстававших на меня злодеев.

13 Праведники разрастаются, как пальмы, возвышаются, подобно кедру на Ливане.

14 Насажденные в Доме ГОСПОДНЕМ, они цветут во дворах Бога нашего,

15 и в старости будут они плодовиты, будут сочны и свежи,

16 чтобы возвещать о справедливости ГОСПОДА, Защитника моего, Которому всё худое чуждо.

3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from vain gossip.	3 утром возвещать Твою милость и ночью — верность Твою,
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust; his truth shall be your shield and buckler.	4 играя на лютне десятиструнной, на арфе и лире, торжественно звучащей!
