Глава 9

1 Тогда Господь велел Моисею пойти к фараону и сказать ему: «Господь, Бог иудеев, говорит: „Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

2 Если ты будешь продолжать удерживать их и откажешься отпустить,

3 то Господь обратит Свою силу против всего твоего скота в поле. Он наведёт ужасную болезнь на твоих лошадей, ослов, верблюдов, скот и овец.

4 Однако Господь сделает различие между скотом Израиля и скотом Египта, и ни одно животное, принадлежащее израильтянам, не погибнет.

5 Господь назначил время, когда всё это произойдёт: завтра Господь пошлёт мор на всю страну”».

6 На следующее утро весь скот Египта вымер, но ни одно животное, принадлежащее народу Израиля, не погибло.

7 Фараон послал узнать, погибло ли что-нибудь из израильского скота, но ни одно животное Израиля не погибло. Фараон продолжал упорствовать и не отпускал народ.

8 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону: «Наберите по пригоршне печной золы и пусть Моисей подбросит золу в воздух в присутствии фараона.

9 Она превратится в пыль, которая пронесётся по Египетской земле, и, если эта пыль коснётся человека или животного, у того на теле появятся нарывы».

10 Тогда Моисей и Аарон набрали печной золы и предстали перед фараоном. Они подбросили золу в воздух, и люди, и животные стали покрываться нарывами.

11 Волшебники не смогли в этом воспрепятствовать Моисею, потому что они сами были покрыты нарывами. И повсюду в Египте случилось то же самое.

12 Но Господь сделал фараона упрямым, и он отказался слушать Моисея и Аарона. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

13 Тогда Господь сказал Моисею: «Утром пойди к фараону и скажи ему, что Господь, Бог иудеев, говорит так: „Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

14 Если ты не сделаешь этого, Я обращу всю Мою силу против тебя, твоих приближённых и твоего народа. И тогда ты узнаешь, что нет на земле бога, подобного Мне.

15 Я мог бы силой Своей послать на тебя и всех египтян болезнь, которая бы уничтожила твой народ, стерев его с лица земли.

16 Но Я дал тебе власть, чтобы показать тебе Мою силу, и тогда люди всей земли узнают обо Мне!

17 Ты всё ещё противишься Моему народу и не отпускаешь его,

18 и поэтому завтра, в это время, Я пошлю сильнейший град, подобного которому никогда ещё не было в Египте со дня его основания.

19 Укрой свой скот в безопасном месте, и всё, принадлежащее тебе, что сейчас находится в поле, должно быть в укрытии, так как всякий человек или животное, оставшееся в поле, погибнет. Град поразит всё, что не будет укрыто в домах”».

20 Те из приближённых фараона, которые боялись слов Господа, быстро собрали свой скот и рабов в своих домах,

21 другие же пренебрегли посланием Господа, и эти люди потеряли всех своих рабов и скот, которые находились в поле.

22 Господь сказал Моисею: «Подними руку к небу, и град начнёт падать по всему Египту. Градины будут падать на людей, на скот и на все растения в полях Египта».

23 И тогда Моисей поднял к небу свой дорожный посох, и Господь послал гром и молнию, и град стал падать на землю по всему Египту.

24 Град падал, а сквозь него сверкала молния. Это был самый сильный град в Египте со времён его основания.

25 Град уничтожил всё в полях Египта: людей, скот и растения и поломал все деревья в полях.

26 Только в земле Гесем, там, где жил народ Израиля, не было града.

27 Фараон послал за Моисеем и Аароном и сказал им: «На этот раз я согрешил. Господь праведен, а я и народ мой виновны.

28 Хватит с нас града и грома от Господа! Помолитесь Господу, чтобы остановить град, и я отпущу вас и не буду более удерживать здесь».

29 «Как только я выйду из города, — сказал Моисей фараону, — я подниму руки в молитве к Господу, и перестанет греметь гром, и град прекратится. И тогда ты узнаешь, что Господь — в этой земле.

30 Но я знаю, что ни ты, ни твои приближённые ещё не почитаете Бога и не боитесь Его».

31 Лён уже дал семена, и ячмень заколосился, поэтому эти растения и погибли,

32 но пшеница и полба поспевают позже, чем другие злаки, и поэтому они не погибли.

33 Моисей ушёл от фараона, вышел из города и простёр руки в молитве к Господу. Град и гром прекратились, а потом остановился и дождь.

34 Увидев, что дождь, град и гром прекратились, фараон опять поступил неправедно: он и его приближённые снова заупрямились.

35 Фараон отказался отпустить народ Израиля. Всё случилось так, как Господь предсказал через Моисея.

Chapter 9

1 THEN the LORD said to Moses, Go to Pharaoh and say to him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me.

2 For if you refuse to let them go (and until now you have withheld them),

3 Behold, the LORD will smite your cattle which are in the desert, the horses, the asses, the camels, the oxen, and the sheep; there shall be a very severe plague.

4 And the LORD will discriminate between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of the Egyptians, so that none of the cattle that belong to the children of Israel shall die, not even one.

5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

6 And the LORD did that thing the next day, and all the cattle of the Egyptians died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel not one died.

7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he did not let the people go.

8 And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, Take two handfuls of the ashes of the furnace and let Moses scatter it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

9 And it shall become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and there shall be boils breaking forth with sores upon men, and upon cattle, throughout all the land of Egypt.

10 So they took ashes of the furnace and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses scattered it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh; and it became blistering boils, breaking out with sores upon men, and upon cattle.

11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils had spread among the magicians and throughout all the land of Egypt.

12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said to Moses.

13 And the LORD said to Moses, Arise early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him. Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me.

14 For this time I will send my plague on your heart and on your servants and on your people, that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.

15 For now I will stretch out my hand that I may strike you and your people with pestilence; and you shall perish from the earth.

16 But for this cause have I raised you to the throne, to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

17 As yet you are continuing to detain this people and refusing to let them go.

18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause a severe storm of hail, such as there has not been in Egypt from the day that it was founded even until now.

19 Send therefore now, and gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field; for upon every man and the cattle which be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

20 He who feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh brought his servants and his cattle into the house.

21 But he who regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

22 And the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand toward heaven that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon men and upon cattle and upon all the grass in the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

23 And Moses lifted up his staff toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning ran along on the ground; and the LORD showered hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 So there was hail, and flaming fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as had never been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and cattle; and the hail destroyed all the herbs of the field and broke every tree of the field.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel dwelt, was there no hail.

27 Then Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time; the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

28 Pray before the LORD, for there is yet a chance for forgiveness in his presence that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.

29 And Moses said to him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will stretch forth my hands to the LORD; and the thunder shall cease and there shall be no more hail, that you may know that the earth belongs to the LORD.

30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you have not yet feared the LORD God.

31 And the flax and the barley were lost; for the barley was in the ear and the flax was boiled.

32 But the wheat and the rye were not lost; for they were sown late.

33 And Moses went out of the city from the presence of Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and his heart was hardened, and the heart of his servants.

35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he did not let the children of Israel go, as the LORD had sent word to him by Moses.

2 Если ты будешь продолжать удерживать их и откажешься отпустить,

2 For if you refuse to let them go (and until now you have withheld them),

3 то Господь обратит Свою силу против всего твоего скота в поле. Он наведёт ужасную болезнь на твоих лошадей, ослов, верблюдов, скот и овец.

3 Behold, the LORD will smite your cattle which are in the desert, the horses, the asses, the camels, the oxen, and the sheep; there shall be a very severe plague.

4 Однако Господь сделает различие между скотом Израиля и скотом Египта, и ни одно животное, принадлежащее израильтянам, не погибнет.

4 And the LORD will discriminate between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of the Egyptians, so that none of the cattle that belong to the children of Israel shall die, not even one.

5 Господь назначил время, когда всё это произойдёт: завтра Господь пошлёт мор на всю страну”».

5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

6 На следующее утро весь скот Египта вымер, но ни одно животное, принадлежащее народу Израиля, не погибло.

6 And the LORD did that thing the next day, and all the cattle of the Egyptians died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel not one died.

7 Фараон послал узнать, погибло ли что-нибудь из израильского скота, но ни одно животное Израиля не погибло. Фараон продолжал упорствовать и не отпускал народ.

7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he did not let the people go.

8 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону: «Наберите по пригоршне печной золы и пусть Моисей подбросит золу в воздух в присутствии фараона.

8 And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, Take two handfuls of the ashes of the furnace and let Moses scatter it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

9 Она превратится в пыль, которая пронесётся по Египетской земле, и, если эта пыль коснётся человека или животного, у того на теле появятся нарывы».

9 And it shall become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and there shall be boils breaking forth with sores upon men, and upon cattle, throughout all the land of Egypt.

10 Тогда Моисей и Аарон набрали печной золы и предстали перед фараоном. Они подбросили золу в воздух, и люди, и животные стали покрываться нарывами.

10 So they took ashes of the furnace and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses scattered it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh; and it became blistering boils, breaking out with sores upon men, and upon cattle.

11 Волшебники не смогли в этом воспрепятствовать Моисею, потому что они сами были покрыты нарывами. И повсюду в Египте случилось то же самое.

11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils had spread among the magicians and throughout all the land of Egypt.

12 Но Господь сделал фараона упрямым, и он отказался слушать Моисея и Аарона. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said to Moses.

13 Тогда Господь сказал Моисею: «Утром пойди к фараону и скажи ему, что Господь, Бог иудеев, говорит так: „Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

13 And the LORD said to Moses, Arise early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him. Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go that they may serve me.

14 Если ты не сделаешь этого, Я обращу всю Мою силу против тебя, твоих приближённых и твоего народа. И тогда ты узнаешь, что нет на земле бога, подобного Мне.

14 For this time I will send my plague on your heart and on your servants and on your people, that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.

15 Я мог бы силой Своей послать на тебя и всех египтян болезнь, которая бы уничтожила твой народ, стерев его с лица земли.

15 For now I will stretch out my hand that I may strike you and your people with pestilence; and you shall perish from the earth.

16 Но Я дал тебе власть, чтобы показать тебе Мою силу, и тогда люди всей земли узнают обо Мне!

16 But for this cause have I raised you to the throne, to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

17 Ты всё ещё противишься Моему народу и не отпускаешь его,

17 As yet you are continuing to detain this people and refusing to let them go.

18 и поэтому завтра, в это время, Я пошлю сильнейший град, подобного которому никогда ещё не было в Египте со дня его основания.

18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause a severe storm of hail, such as there has not been in Egypt from the day that it was founded even until now.

19 Укрой свой скот в безопасном месте, и всё, принадлежащее тебе, что сейчас находится в поле, должно быть в укрытии, так как всякий человек или животное, оставшееся в поле, погибнет. Град поразит всё, что не будет укрыто в домах”».

19 Send therefore now, and gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field; for upon every man and the cattle which be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

20 Те из приближённых фараона, которые боялись слов Господа, быстро собрали свой скот и рабов в своих домах,

20 He who feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh brought his servants and his cattle into the house.

21 другие же пренебрегли посланием Господа, и эти люди потеряли всех своих рабов и скот, которые находились в поле.

21 But he who regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

22 Господь сказал Моисею: «Подними руку к небу, и град начнёт падать по всему Египту. Градины будут падать на людей, на скот и на все растения в полях Египта».

22 And the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand toward heaven that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon men and upon cattle and upon all the grass in the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

23 И тогда Моисей поднял к небу свой дорожный посох, и Господь послал гром и молнию, и град стал падать на землю по всему Египту.

23 And Moses lifted up his staff toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning ran along on the ground; and the LORD showered hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 Град падал, а сквозь него сверкала молния. Это был самый сильный град в Египте со времён его основания.

24 So there was hail, and flaming fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as had never been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

25 Град уничтожил всё в полях Египта: людей, скот и растения и поломал все деревья в полях.

25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and cattle; and the hail destroyed all the herbs of the field and broke every tree of the field.

26 Только в земле Гесем, там, где жил народ Израиля, не было града.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel dwelt, was there no hail.

27 Фараон послал за Моисеем и Аароном и сказал им: «На этот раз я согрешил. Господь праведен, а я и народ мой виновны.

27 Then Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time; the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

28 Хватит с нас града и грома от Господа! Помолитесь Господу, чтобы остановить град, и я отпущу вас и не буду более удерживать здесь».

28 Pray before the LORD, for there is yet a chance for forgiveness in his presence that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.

29 «Как только я выйду из города, — сказал Моисей фараону, — я подниму руки в молитве к Господу, и перестанет греметь гром, и град прекратится. И тогда ты узнаешь, что Господь — в этой земле.

29 And Moses said to him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will stretch forth my hands to the LORD; and the thunder shall cease and there shall be no more hail, that you may know that the earth belongs to the LORD.

30 Но я знаю, что ни ты, ни твои приближённые ещё не почитаете Бога и не боитесь Его».

30 But as for you and your servants, I know that you have not yet feared the LORD God.

31 Лён уже дал семена, и ячмень заколосился, поэтому эти растения и погибли,

31 And the flax and the barley were lost; for the barley was in the ear and the flax was boiled.

32 но пшеница и полба поспевают позже, чем другие злаки, и поэтому они не погибли.

33 Моисей ушёл от фараона, вышел из города и простёр руки в молитве к Господу. Град и гром прекратились, а потом остановился и дождь.

33 And Moses went out of the city from the presence of Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

34 Увидев, что дождь, град и гром прекратились, фараон опять поступил неправедно: он и его приближённые снова заупрямились.

34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders had ceased, he sinned yet more, and his heart was hardened, and the heart of his servants.

35 Фараон отказался отпустить народ Израиля. Всё случилось так, как Господь предсказал через Моисея.

35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened and he did not let the children of Israel go, as the LORD had sent word to him by Moses.
