1 Тогда Господь сказал Моисею: «Пойди к фараону и скажи ему: „Так говорит Господь: „Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

2 Если не согласишься отпустить Мой народ, Я наполню Египет лягушками.

3 Река Нил будет кишеть лягушками, они выйдут из реки и войдут к тебе в дом, они будут у тебя в спальне и у тебя в постели, лягушки будут в домах твоих приближенных, у тебя в печах и в кувшинах с водой.

4 Они будут ползать по тебе, по твоему народу и по твоим приближённым”».

5 Господь сказал Моисею: «Скажи Аарону, чтобы он простёр руку с дорожным посохом над каналами, реками и озёрами, и тогда лягушки выйдут на землю Египетскую».

6 Когда Аарон простёр руку над водами Египта, из воды стали выходить лягушки и заполнили всю землю Египта.

7 Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, сделали то же самое, и ещё больше лягушек вышло на Египетскую землю.

8 Фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: «Попросите Господа убрать лягушек от меня и от моего народа, и тогда я отпущу ваш народ пойти и принести жертвы Господу».

9 Моисей ответил фараону: «Скажи мне, когда ты хочешь, чтобы эти лягушки ушли? Я помолюсь за тебя, за твой народ и за твоих приближённых, и эти лягушки уйдут от тебя и из твоих домов, и останутся только в реке».

10 «Завтра», — ответил фараон. «Как ты сказал, так и будет, — ответил Моисей, — и ты удостоверишься, что нет Бога подобного Господу, Богу нашему.

11 Лягушки уйдут от тебя, из твоего дома, от твоих приближённых и от твоего народа; они останутся только в реке».

12 Моисей и Аарон ушли от фараона, и Моисей помолился Господу о лягушках, которых Он напустил на фараона.

13 Тогда Господь сделал то, о чём просил Моисей: лягушки вымерли в домах, во дворах и на полях

14 и стали гнить, и вся страна стала смердеть.

15 Фараон же, увидев, что они освободились от лягушек, снова заупрямился и не сделал того, о чём просили его Моисей и Аарон. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

16 Затем Господь сказал Моисею: «Скажи Аарону, чтобы он поднял посох и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратится во вшей».

17 Так они и сделали. Аарон простёр руку с посохом и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратилась во вшей, и все животные и все люди покрылись ими.

18 Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, попытались сделать то же самое, но не смогли сотворить из пыли вшей, и вши остались на животных и на людях.

19 Тогда волшебники сказали фараону, что Бог сделал это, но фараон не захотел их слушать. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

20 Господь сказал Моисею: «Завтра утром встань и пойди к фараону. Когда он пойдёт к реке, ты скажи ему: „Так говорит Господь: „Отпусти Мой народ, чтобы он мог совершить Мне служение!

21 Если не отпустишь Мой народ, то в твои дома слетятся мухи, они будут на тебе и на твоих приближённых — дома в Египте будут кишеть мухами, и вся земля будет покрыта ими.

22 Но с народом Израиля я не поступлю так, как с египтянами: в Гесеме, где живёт Мой народ, мух не будет, и тогда ты узнаешь, что Я, Господь, пребываю в этой земле.

23 Завтра я поступлю с Моим народом не так, как с твоим, это и будет Моим доказательством”».

24 Так сделал Господь. Великое мно жество мух слетелось в Египет: они были в доме у фараона и в домах всех его приближённых. Мухи кишели во всём Египте, и страна погибала от них.

25 Тогда фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал им: «Принесите жертвы вашему Богу здесь, в этой стране».

26 Но Моисей ответил: «Мы не можем этого сделать. Египтяне считают, что приносить жертвы Господу, Богу нашему, отвратительно, и если мы совершим поклонение в этой земле, то египтяне забьют нас камнями.

27 Отпусти нас в пустыню, на место, которое находится на расстоянии трёх дней пути, чтобы принести жертву Господу, Богу нашему. Так велел наш Господь».

28 Фараон сказал: «Я отпущу вас принести жертвы Господу, Богу вашему, в пустыне; только не уходите далеко. А теперь идите и помолитесь за меня».

29 «Хорошо, — сказал Моисей, — я пойду и попрошу Господа завтра избавить тебя, твой народ и твоих приближённых от мух, но ты не должен больше препятствовать народу приносить жертвы Господу».

30 Моисей ушёл от фараона и помолился Господу,

31 и Он исполнил то, о чём просил Моисей: убрал мух от фараона, его приближённых и от его народа, так что не осталось ни одной мухи.

32 Но и на этот раз фараон заупрямился и не отпустил народ.

1 THEN the LORD said to Moses. Go to Pharaoh and say to him. Thus says the LORD, Let my people go that they may serve me.

2 And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your borders with frogs;

3 And the river shall swarm with frogs, which shall come up and enter into your house and into your bedchamber and into your bed and into the houses of your servants and of your people and into your inner chambers and into your kneading troughs;

4 And the frogs shall come up both on you and on all your people.

5 And the LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron your brother, Lift up your hand with your staff over the rivers and over the streams and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

6 So Aaron lifted up his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

7 And the magicians did the same with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said to them, Pray to the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go that they may sacrifice to the LORD.

9 And Moses said to Pharaoh, Appoint a time; when shall I pray for you and for your servants and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your house?

10 And he said to him, Tomorrow. And Moses said, Be it according to your word, that you may know that there is none like the LORD our God.

11 And the frogs shall depart from you and from your house and from your servants and from your people; they shall remain in the river only.

12 And Moses and Aaron went out from the presence of Pharaoh; and Moses prayed before the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died that were in the houses and in the courtyards and in the fields.

14 And they gathered them together in heaps; and the land stank.

15 And when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the LORD had said to Moses.

16 And the LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Lift up your staff and smite the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

17 And he did so; and Aaron lifted up his hand with his staff and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice on men and on cattle; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 And the magicians did the same by means of their magic to bring forth lice, but they could not get rid of the lice; so there were lice on men and on cattle.

19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God; and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said.

20 And the LORD said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he goes out again to his daily duty; and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go that they may serve me.

21 Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon you and upon your people and upon your house; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with swarms of flies, like a field when it is covered with them.

22 And I will set apart on that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, to the end that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

23 And I will put a division between my people and your people; tomorrow shall this sign be.

24 And the LORD did so; and he brought great swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh and into his servants' houses and into all the land of Egypt; and the land was ruined by reason of the swarms of flies.

25 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said to them, Go, sacrifice to your God within the land.

26 And Moses said, It is not proper to do so; for we shall sacrifice to the LORD our God some of the animals that are an abomination to the Egyptians. And if we should sacrifice animals that are idols before Egyptian eyes, they would stone us.

27 We will go three days' journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.

28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away, and you must pray for me also.

29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out from your presence and I will pray before the LORD and he will cause the swarms of flies to depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow; but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more by refusing to allow the people to go to sacrifice to the LORD.

30 So Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and prayed before the LORD.

31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh and from his servants and from his people; there remained not one.

32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also and did not let the people go.

1 THEN the LORD said to Moses. Go to Pharaoh and say to him. Thus says the LORD, Let my people go that they may serve me.

2 Если не согласишься отпустить Мой народ, Я наполню Египет лягушками.

2 And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all your borders with frogs;

3 Река Нил будет кишеть лягушками, они выйдут из реки и войдут к тебе в дом, они будут у тебя в спальне и у тебя в постели, лягушки будут в домах твоих приближенных, у тебя в печах и в кувшинах с водой.

3 And the river shall swarm with frogs, which shall come up and enter into your house and into your bedchamber and into your bed and into the houses of your servants and of your people and into your inner chambers and into your kneading troughs;

4 Они будут ползать по тебе, по твоему народу и по твоим приближённым”».

4 And the frogs shall come up both on you and on all your people.

5 Господь сказал Моисею: «Скажи Аарону, чтобы он простёр руку с дорожным посохом над каналами, реками и озёрами, и тогда лягушки выйдут на землю Египетскую».

5 And the LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron your brother, Lift up your hand with your staff over the rivers and over the streams and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

6 Когда Аарон простёр руку над водами Египта, из воды стали выходить лягушки и заполнили всю землю Египта.

6 So Aaron lifted up his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

7 Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, сделали то же самое, и ещё больше лягушек вышло на Египетскую землю.

7 And the magicians did the same with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

8 Фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: «Попросите Господа убрать лягушек от меня и от моего народа, и тогда я отпущу ваш народ пойти и принести жертвы Господу».

8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said to them, Pray to the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go that they may sacrifice to the LORD.

9 Моисей ответил фараону: «Скажи мне, когда ты хочешь, чтобы эти лягушки ушли? Я помолюсь за тебя, за твой народ и за твоих приближённых, и эти лягушки уйдут от тебя и из твоих домов, и останутся только в реке».

9 And Moses said to Pharaoh, Appoint a time; when shall I pray for you and for your servants and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your house?

10 «Завтра», — ответил фараон. «Как ты сказал, так и будет, — ответил Моисей, — и ты удостоверишься, что нет Бога подобного Господу, Богу нашему.

10 And he said to him, Tomorrow. And Moses said, Be it according to your word, that you may know that there is none like the LORD our God.

11 Лягушки уйдут от тебя, из твоего дома, от твоих приближённых и от твоего народа; они останутся только в реке».

11 And the frogs shall depart from you and from your house and from your servants and from your people; they shall remain in the river only.

12 Моисей и Аарон ушли от фараона, и Моисей помолился Господу о лягушках, которых Он напустил на фараона.

12 And Moses and Aaron went out from the presence of Pharaoh; and Moses prayed before the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 Тогда Господь сделал то, о чём просил Моисей: лягушки вымерли в домах, во дворах и на полях

13 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died that were in the houses and in the courtyards and in the fields.

14 и стали гнить, и вся страна стала смердеть.

14 And they gathered them together in heaps; and the land stank.

15 Фараон же, увидев, что они освободились от лягушек, снова заупрямился и не сделал того, о чём просили его Моисей и Аарон. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

15 And when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the LORD had said to Moses.

16 Затем Господь сказал Моисею: «Скажи Аарону, чтобы он поднял посох и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратится во вшей».

16 And the LORD said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Lift up your staff and smite the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

17 Так они и сделали. Аарон простёр руку с посохом и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратилась во вшей, и все животные и все люди покрылись ими.

17 And he did so; and Aaron lifted up his hand with his staff and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice on men and on cattle; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

18 Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, попытались сделать то же самое, но не смогли сотворить из пыли вшей, и вши остались на животных и на людях.

18 And the magicians did the same by means of their magic to bring forth lice, but they could not get rid of the lice; so there were lice on men and on cattle.

19 Тогда волшебники сказали фараону, что Бог сделал это, но фараон не захотел их слушать. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God; and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the LORD had said.

20 Господь сказал Моисею: «Завтра утром встань и пойди к фараону. Когда он пойдёт к реке, ты скажи ему: „Так говорит Господь: „Отпусти Мой народ, чтобы он мог совершить Мне служение!

20 And the LORD said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he goes out again to his daily duty; and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go that they may serve me.

21 Если не отпустишь Мой народ, то в твои дома слетятся мухи, они будут на тебе и на твоих приближённых — дома в Египте будут кишеть мухами, и вся земля будет покрыта ими.

21 Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon you and upon your people and upon your house; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with swarms of flies, like a field when it is covered with them.

22 Но с народом Израиля я не поступлю так, как с египтянами: в Гесеме, где живёт Мой народ, мух не будет, и тогда ты узнаешь, что Я, Господь, пребываю в этой земле.

24 And the LORD did so; and he brought great swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh and into his servants' houses and into all the land of Egypt; and the land was ruined by reason of the swarms of flies.

25 Тогда фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал им: «Принесите жертвы вашему Богу здесь, в этой стране».

25 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said to them, Go, sacrifice to your God within the land.

26 Но Моисей ответил: «Мы не можем этого сделать. Египтяне считают, что приносить жертвы Господу, Богу нашему, отвратительно, и если мы совершим поклонение в этой земле, то египтяне забьют нас камнями.

28 Фараон сказал: «Я отпущу вас принести жертвы Господу, Богу вашему, в пустыне; только не уходите далеко. А теперь идите и помолитесь за меня».

28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go that you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away, and you must pray for me also.

29 «Хорошо, — сказал Моисей, — я пойду и попрошу Господа завтра избавить тебя, твой народ и твоих приближённых от мух, но ты не должен больше препятствовать народу приносить жертвы Господу».

29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out from your presence and I will pray before the LORD and he will cause the swarms of flies to depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow; but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more by refusing to allow the people to go to sacrifice to the LORD.

30 Моисей ушёл от фараона и помолился Господу,

30 So Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and prayed before the LORD.

31 и Он исполнил то, о чём просил Моисей: убрал мух от фараона, его приближённых и от его народа, так что не осталось ни одной мухи.

31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh and from his servants and from his people; there remained not one.

32 Но и на этот раз фараон заупрямился и не отпустил народ.

32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also and did not let the people go.
