2 «Сын человеческий, скажи правителю Тира, что Господь Всемогущий так говорит: „В великой гордости ты хвалишься: „Я — божество! На троне божьем восседаю я посреди морей”. Но ты не бог, ты — человек, хотя ты сам себя считаешь божеством.
3 Ты думаешь, что ты мудрее, чем Даниил, что можешь все узнать секреты.
4 Своею мудростью и разумом своим добыл ты для себя богатства; золотом и серебром ты набил свои сокровищницы.
5 Уменьем торговать и мудростью своей умножил ты своё богатство, но слишком возгордился этим ты”».
6 Поэтому Господь сказал: «Тир, ты божеством возомнил себя.
7 Я иноземцев приведу против тебя, самых жестоких из всех народов. Они направят свои мечи против всего, чего ты мудростью добился, они всю твою славу сокрушат.
8 Они сведут тебя в могилу, ты будешь как матрос, погибший в море.
9 Ты не сможешь сказать своему убийце: „Я — божество!” Пред его силой ты будешь обычным человеком, а не божеством.
10 Как умирают необрезанные, ты умрёшь от руки чужеземцев. Это случится, потому что Я так повелел». Так говорит Господь.
11 Слово Господа пришло ко мне. Он сказал:
12 «Сын человеческий, пой эту печальную песню о царе Тира и передай ему те слова, которые сказал Господь Всемогущий: „Ты идеальным и мудрым был, совершенным в своей красоте.
13 Ты жил в Эдеме, в саду Господнем. Владел ты различными драгоценными камнями: рубинами и топазами, бриллиантами и ониксом, бериллом, сапфиром и яшмой, изумрудами и бирюзой, оправленными золотом и гравировкой. Бог сделал тебя сильным и красотой одарил в тот день, когда был ты сотворён.
14 Ты был одним из избранных Херувимов, который распростёр свои крылья над Моим троном. Я на Святую гору тебя поставил, ты ходил среди драгоценных камней, огнём сверкавших.
15 Ты был добр и честен, когда тебя Я создал, но со временем ты злобой наполнился.
16 Твои дела богатство принесли, но и они же принесли жестокость, и тогда согрешил ты. Поэтому Я сбросил тебя с горы Господней словно нечисть. Изгнал тебя, Мой Херувим, чьи крылья были распростёрты над Моим троном. Я изгнал тебя, заставив покинуть все эти драгоценные камни, сверкавшие огнём.
17 От красоты своей ты возгордился, из-за славы своей ты мудрости лишился. За это Я тебя на землю бросил, и сейчас на тебя все цари глядят.
18 Ты часто был в делах своих нечестен, и тем самым осквернил ты все твои святыни. Поэтому Я огонь из тебя извлёк, и он тебя спалил. Ты превратился в пепел, и теперь все могут видеть твой позор.
19 Поражены случившимся с тобой народы, их ужасает всё произошедшее с тобой. Тебя больше нет на земле!”»
20 Господь обратился ко мне с такими словами:
21 «Сын человеческий, посмотри в сторону Сидона и скажи от имени Моего.
22 Скажи, что Господь Всемогущий так говорит: „Сидон, Я против тебя! Я накажу Сидон, и тогда твой народ научится Меня почитать. Узнают люди, что Я — Господь святой, и будут ко Мне относиться с уважением.
23 Болезнь и смерть Я на Сидон пошлю, и тогда многие жители города погибнут от меча врагов, окружающих их. Тогда люди поймут, что Я — Господь!”
24 После того как всё это произойдёт, страны, расположенные вокруг Израиля и ненавидящие его, перестанут быть для него словно жгучая крапива или острые шипы, приносящие ему боль. Эти страны узнают, что Я — Господь Всемогущий».
25 Так сказал Господь Всемогущий: «Я разбросал израильтян среди разных народов, но Я соберу их всех вместе, и тогда все народы узнают, что Я — Святой, и будут Меня почитать. После того как всё это произойдёт, израильтяне будут жить на своей земле, которую Я отдал слуге Моему Иакову.
26 Они будут жить в безопасности, построят дома и посадят виноградники. Я накажу все народы, которые их ненавидели, и тогда израильтяне будут жить в безопасности и узнают, что Я — Господь, их Бог».

15 Thou859wast perfect8549 in thy ways1870 from the day44803117 that thou wast created,1254 till5704 iniquity5766 was found4672 in thee.
16 By the multitude7230 of thy merchandise7404 they have filled4390 the midst8432 of thee with violence,2555 and thou hast sinned:2398 therefore I will cast thee as profane2490 out of the mountain44802022 of God:430 and I will destroy6 thee, O covering5526 cherub,3742 from the midst44808432 of the stones68 of fire.784
17 Thine heart3820 was lifted up1361 because of thy beauty,3308 thou hast corrupted7843 thy wisdom2451 by reason of5921 thy brightness:3314 I will cast7993 thee to5921 the ground,776 I will lay5414 thee before6440 kings,4428 that they may behold7200 thee.

22 And say,559Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2009 I am against5921 thee, O Zidon;6721 and I will be glorified3513 in the midst8432 of thee: and they shall know3045 that3588 I589am the LORD,3068 when I shall have executed6213 judgments8201 in her, and shall be sanctified6942 in her.
23 For I will send7971 into her pestilence,1698 and blood1818 into her streets;2351 and the wounded2491 shall be judged5307 in the midst8432 of her by the sword2719 upon5921 her on every side;44805439 and they shall know3045 that3588 I589am the LORD.3068

26 And they shall dwell3427 safely983 therein,5921 and shall build1129 houses,1004 and plant5193 vineyards;3754 yea, they shall dwell3427 with confidence,983 when I have executed6213 judgments8201 upon all3605 those that despise7590 them round about44805439 them; and they shall know3045 that3588 I589am the LORD3068 their God.430

17 От красоты своей ты возгордился, из-за славы своей ты мудрости лишился. За это Я тебя на землю бросил, и сейчас на тебя все цари глядят.

18 Ты часто был в делах своих нечестен, и тем самым осквернил ты все твои святыни. Поэтому Я огонь из тебя извлёк, и он тебя спалил. Ты превратился в пепел, и теперь все могут видеть твой позор.

19 Поражены случившимся с тобой народы, их ужасает всё произошедшее с тобой. Тебя больше нет на земле!”»

23 Болезнь и смерть Я на Сидон пошлю, и тогда многие жители города погибнут от меча врагов, окружающих их. Тогда люди поймут, что Я — Господь!”

24 После того как всё это произойдёт, страны, расположенные вокруг Израиля и ненавидящие его, перестанут быть для него словно жгучая крапива или острые шипы, приносящие ему боль. Эти страны узнают, что Я — Господь Всемогущий».

26 Они будут жить в безопасности, построят дома и посадят виноградники. Я накажу все народы, которые их ненавидели, и тогда израильтяне будут жить в безопасности и узнают, что Я — Господь, их Бог».
