Глава 17

1 Потом отправилось все общество сынов Израилевых из пустыни Син в путь свой, по повелению Иеговы; и расположилось станом в Рефидиме, и не было воды пить народу.

2 И укорял народ Моисея, и говорил: дайте нам воды пить; а Моисей говорил им: что вы укоряете меня, что искушаете Иегову?

3 И жаждал там народ воды, и роптал народ на Моисея, говоря: зачем ты вывел нас из Египта, уморить жаждою меня и детей моих и стада мои?

4 Моисей возопил к Иегове и сказал: что мне делать с народом сим? еще немного, и они побьют меня камнями.

5 Иегова сказал Моисею: пройди перед народом, и возьми с собою некоторых из старейшин Израильских, и посох твой, которым ты поражал реку, возьми в руку твою и поди.

6 Вот, Я стану пред тобою там на скале в Хориве; и ты ударишь в скалу, и пойдет из нее вода, и будет пить народ. Так и сделал Моисей пред очами старейшин Израильских.

7 И нарек месту тому имя: Масса и Мерива {искушение и укорение}; потому что сыны Израилевы укоряли Моисея и искушали Иегову, говоря: точно ли Иегова среди нас, или нет?

8 И пришел Амалик, и воевал с Израильтянами в Рефидиме.

9 Тогда Моисей сказал Иисусу: выбери нам мужей и поди, сразись с Амаликом; завтра стану на вершине холма, и посох Божий будет в руке моей.

10 Иисус так и сделал, как сказал ему Моисей, чтобы сразиться с Амаликом; а Моисей и Аарон и Ор взошли на вершину холма.

11 И когда Моисей поднимал руку свою, одолевал Израиль; а когда опускал руку свою, одолевал Амалик.

12 Но как руки Моисеевы устали, то взяли камень и положили под него, и он сел на нем. Аарон же и Ор поддерживали руки его, один с одной, а другой с другой стороны. Таким образом, руки его подкреплены были до захождения солнца.

13 И низложил Иисус Амалика и народ его острием меча.

14 И сказал Иегова Моисею: напиши сие для памяти в книгу, и внуши Иисусу, что Я совершенно изглажу память Амалика из поднебесной.

15 И создал Моисей жертвенник, и нарек ему имя: Иегова Нисси {Иегова знамя мое}.

16 Потому что, сказал он, знамя Иеговы в руке моей, брань у Иеговы против Амалика из рода в род.

1 And all3605 the congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 journeyed5265 from the wilderness4480 4057 of Sin,5512 after their journeys,4550 according to5921 the commandment6310 of the LORD,3068 and pitched2583 in Rephidim:7508 and there was no369 water4325 for the people5971 to drink.8354

2 Wherefore the people5971 did chide7378 with5973 Moses,4872 and said,559 Give5414 us water4325 that we may drink.8354 And Moses4872 said559 unto them, Why4100 chide7378 ye with5978 me? wherefore4100 do ye tempt5254 853 the LORD?3068

3 And the people5971 thirsted6770 there8033 for water;4325 and the people5971 murmured3885 against5921 Moses,4872 and said,559 Wherefore4100 is this2088 that thou hast brought us up5927 out of Egypt,4480 4714 to kill4191 us and our children1121 and our cattle4735 with thirst?6772

4 And Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 What4100 shall I do6213 unto this2088 people?5971 they be almost4592 ready5750 to stone5619 me.

5 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go on5674 before6440 the people,5971 and take3947 with854 thee of the elders4480 2205 of Israel;3478 and thy rod,4294 wherewith834 thou smotest5221 853 the river,2975 take3947 in thine hand,3027 and go.1980

6 Behold,2009 I will stand5975 before6440 thee there8033 upon5921 the rock6697 in Horeb;2722 and thou shalt smite5221 the rock,6697 and there shall come3318 water4325 out of4480 it, that the people5971 may drink.8354 And Moses4872 did6213 so3651 in the sight5869 of the elders2205 of Israel.3478

7 And he called7121 the name8034 of the place4725 Massah,4532 and Meribah,4809 because of5921 the chiding7379 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 and because5921 they tempted5254 853 the LORD,3068 saying,559 Is3426 the LORD3068 among7130 us, or518 not?369

8 Then came935 Amalek,6002 and fought3898 with5973 Israel3478 in Rephidim.7508

9 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 Joshua,3091 Choose us out977 men,376 and go out,3318 fight3898 with Amalek:6002 tomorrow4279 I595 will stand5324 on5921 the top7218 of the hill1389 with the rod4294 of God430 in mine hand.3027

10 So Joshua3091 did6213 as834 Moses4872 had said559 to him, and fought3898 with Amalek:6002 and Moses,4872 Aaron,175 and Hur2354 went up5927 to the top7218 of the hill.1389

11 And it came to pass,1961 when834 Moses4872 held up7311 his hand,3027 that Israel3478 prevailed:1396 and when834 he let down5117 his hand,3027 Amalek6002 prevailed.1396

12 But Moses'4872 hands3027 were heavy;3515 and they took3947 a stone,68 and put7760 it under8478 him, and he sat3427 thereon;5921 and Aaron175 and Hur2354 stayed up8551 his hands,3027 the one259 on the one side,4480 2088 and the other259 on the other side;4480 2088 and his hands3027 were1961 steady530 until5704 the going down935 of the sun.8121

13 And Joshua3091 discomfited2522 853 Amalek6002 and his people5971 with the edge6310 of the sword.2719

14 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Write3789 this2063 for a memorial2146 in a book,5612 and rehearse7760 it in the ears241 of Joshua:3091 for3588 I will utterly put out4229 4229 853 the remembrance2143 of Amalek6002 from under4480 8478 heaven.8064

15 And Moses4872 built1129 an altar,4196 and called7121 the name8034 of it Jehovah-nissi: 3071

16 For he said,559 Because3588 the LORD3050 hath sworn3027 5921 3676 that the LORD3068 will have war4421 with Amalek6002 from generation4480 1755 to generation.1755

2 И укорял народ Моисея, и говорил: дайте нам воды пить; а Моисей говорил им: что вы укоряете меня, что искушаете Иегову?

2 Wherefore the people5971 did chide7378 with5973 Moses,4872 and said,559 Give5414 us water4325 that we may drink.8354 And Moses4872 said559 unto them, Why4100 chide7378 ye with5978 me? wherefore4100 do ye tempt5254 853 the LORD?3068

3 И жаждал там народ воды, и роптал народ на Моисея, говоря: зачем ты вывел нас из Египта, уморить жаждою меня и детей моих и стада мои?

4 Моисей возопил к Иегове и сказал: что мне делать с народом сим? еще немного, и они побьют меня камнями.

4 And Moses4872 cried6817 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 What4100 shall I do6213 unto this2088 people?5971 they be almost4592 ready5750 to stone5619 me.

5 Иегова сказал Моисею: пройди перед народом, и возьми с собою некоторых из старейшин Израильских, и посох твой, которым ты поражал реку, возьми в руку твою и поди.

5 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go on5674 before6440 the people,5971 and take3947 with854 thee of the elders4480 2205 of Israel;3478 and thy rod,4294 wherewith834 thou smotest5221 853 the river,2975 take3947 in thine hand,3027 and go.1980

6 Вот, Я стану пред тобою там на скале в Хориве; и ты ударишь в скалу, и пойдет из нее вода, и будет пить народ. Так и сделал Моисей пред очами старейшин Израильских.

7 И нарек месту тому имя: Масса и Мерива {искушение и укорение}; потому что сыны Израилевы укоряли Моисея и искушали Иегову, говоря: точно ли Иегова среди нас, или нет?

11 И когда Моисей поднимал руку свою, одолевал Израиль; а когда опускал руку свою, одолевал Амалик.

11 And it came to pass,1961 when834 Moses4872 held up7311 his hand,3027 that Israel3478 prevailed:1396 and when834 he let down5117 his hand,3027 Amalek6002 prevailed.1396

13 И низложил Иисус Амалика и народ его острием меча.

13 And Joshua3091 discomfited2522 853 Amalek6002 and his people5971 with the edge6310 of the sword.2719

14 И сказал Иегова Моисею: напиши сие для памяти в книгу, и внуши Иисусу, что Я совершенно изглажу память Амалика из поднебесной.

15 И создал Моисей жертвенник, и нарек ему имя: Иегова Нисси {Иегова знамя мое}.
