Глава 22

1 Приближался праздник Пресных Хлебов, называемый Пасха,

2 и первосвященники и книжники искали любую возможность расправиться с Иисусом, но тайно, потому что боялись народа.

3 Тогда вошел сатана в Иуду, одного из Двенадцати, прозванного Искариотом;

4 тот пошел и говорил с первосвященниками и начальниками храмовой стражи о том, как он сможет выдать им Иисуса.

5 Они обрадовались и договорились с ним, что заплатят ему.

6 Иуда согласился и стал искать удобного случая, чтобы предать им Иисуса втайне от народа.

7 И вот наступил первый день праздника Пресных Хлебов, в который полагалось заколоть пасхального ягненка,

8 Иисус послал Петра и Иоанна, сказав им: «Пойдите и приготовьте всё, чтобы мы могли есть пасхальную трапезу».

9 Они же спросили Его: «Где ты хочешь, чтобы мы ее приготовили?»

10 «Когда будете входить в город, — ответил Он им, — встретится вам человек, несущий кувшин воды; идите следом за ним в тот самый дом, в который он войдет,

11 и скажите хозяину дома: „Спрашивает у тебя наш Учитель: „Где комната, в которой Я мог бы отпраздновать Пасху с учениками Своими?“

12 Тот покажет вам большую горницу, устланную, там и приготовьте».

13 Они отправились, нашли всё так, как Он сказал им, и приготовили там пасхальную трапезу.

14 Затем, когда пришло время, Он и апостолы Его заняли места за столом.

15 «Как сильно хотел Я, — сказал Он им, — вместе с вами есть эту пасхальную трапезу, прежде чем наступит час Моих страданий.

16 Говорю вам, что больше не буду праздновать ее, пока весь смысл ее не откроется в Царстве Божием».

17 Он взял чашу, возблагодарил Бога и сказал: «Возьмите эту чашу и пейте все из нее,

18 ибо говорю вам, [что] отныне не буду пить от плодов виноградной лозы, пока не придет Царство Божие».

19 Затем Он взял хлеб, возблагодарил Бога и, преломив хлеб, дал ученикам со словами: «Это тело Мое, оно отдано будет за вас. Делайте это в память обо Мне».

20 Также взял Он и чашу после того, как они поели, и сказал: «Эта чаша — новый завет, кровью Моей утвержденный, прольется за вас Моя кровь.

21 Но предатель Мой здесь, и рука его на этом столе.

22 Хотя Сын Человеческий и идет по пути, Ему предназначенному, но горе тому человеку, который Его предает».

23 И они стали спрашивать друг друга, кто же из них способен на такое.

24 Произошел между ними и спор, кто из них должен считаться самым главным.

25 Иисус же сказал им: «Цари язычников господствуют над своими подданными, и те, кто властвует над ними, „благодетелями“ именуются.

26 Но у вас не должно так быть: кто у вас выше других по своему положению, тот должен вести себя как младший, и начальник — как слуга.

27 Кто же больше: тот, кто за столом, или тот, кто прислуживает ему? Не тот ли, кто за столом? Я же среди вас как слуга.

28 Вы не оставили Меня в испытаниях Моих.

29 И Я дарую вам Царство, как Отец Мой даровал его Мне:

30 есть и пить будете вы за Моим столом в Царстве Моем, будете сидеть на престолах и судить двенадцать колен Израилевых.

31 Симон, Симон! Сатана просил и ему дозволено просеять вас, как пшеницу.

32 Но Я молился о тебе, чтобы ты не потерял свою веру; и когда ты всем сердцем обратишься к Богу, укрепи в вере и братьев твоих».

33 «Господи, — ответил Ему Петр, — с Тобой я готов и в тюрьму, и на смерть идти!»

34 Но Он сказал: «Говорю тебе, Петр, что не пропоет еще сегодня петух, как уже ты трижды откажешься от того, что знаешь Меня».

35 И сказал Он им: «Когда Я посылал вас без денег, сумы и второй пары обуви, разве в чем-нибудь вы нуждались?» «Ни в чем», — отвечали они.

36 «Но теперь, — продолжал Он, — у кого есть кошелек, должен взять его, а также и суму. У кого нет меча, пусть продаст он одежду свою и купит меч.

37 Ибо говорю вам: нужно, чтобы совершилось надо Мной то, что сказано в Писании: „И к преступникам причислен“. Путь Мой завершается».

38 «Господи, — сказали они, — вот, у нас здесь есть два меча». «Довольно!» — ответил Он им.

39 И, выйдя из города, Он, как обычно, пошел на Масличную гору; ученики Его последовали за Ним.

40 Когда они пришли туда, Иисус сказал им: «Молитесь, чтобы не впасть в искушение».

41 А Сам отошел от них и поодаль, преклонив колени, молился:

42 «Отче, если угодно Тебе, избавь Меня от этой чаши. Но не Моя воля, а Твоя пусть исполнится!»

43 [[И явился Ему ангел с неба, и укреплял Его.

44 Его муки были столь тяжелы и молился Он так напряженно, что пот Его с каплями крови падал на землю.]]

45 Закончив молиться, Он встал, пошел к Своим ученикам и нашел их спящими, изнуренными печалью.

46 И сказал им: «Что вы спите? Вставайте! Молитесь, чтобы не впасть вам в искушение!»

47 Он еще говорил, когда появилась толпа народа, и тот, кого звали Иудой, один из Двенадцати, шел впереди. Он приблизился к Иисусу, чтобы поцеловать Его.

48 «Иуда, — сказал ему Иисус, — ты поцелуем предаешь Сына Человеческого?»

49 Когда находившиеся с Иисусом увидели, к чему всё идет, они сказали: «Господи, а что, не обнажить ли нам мечи?»

50 И кто-то из них ударил мечом слугу первосвященника и отсек ему правое ухо.

51 «Оставьте, довольно!» — воскликнул Иисус. И, коснувшись уха слуги, Он исцелил его.

52 Обратившись к первосвященникам, старейшинам и начальникам храмовой стражи, которые пришли за Ним, Иисус сказал: «Словно на разбойника вышли вы с мечами и кольями!

53 Каждый день Я был среди вас в Храме, и вы ни разу не подняли на Меня руки, но теперь — ваше время и власть тьмы».

54 Тогда они схватили Иисуса и повели. Они привели Его в дом первосвященника, Петр же шел за ними поодаль,

55 а во дворе он сел вместе с теми людьми, которые там разожгли костер.

56 И увидела его при свете огня одна служанка, и, вглядевшись в него, сказала: «И этот был с Ним!»

57 Но он отрицал: «Женщина, я не знаю Его!»

58 Немного погодя кто-то еще заметил его и сказал: «И ты из них». «Да нет же, друг!» — ответил Петр.

59 Когда же прошло около часа, кто-то другой стал настаивать: «Верно, и этот был с Ним, он ведь галилеянин».

60 Но Петр сказал ему: «Друг, я не понимаю, о чем ты говоришь!» В тот же миг — он еще говорил — пропел петух,

61 и Господь, обернувшись, взглянул на Петра. И вспомнил Петр слова Господа, которые Тот сказал ему: «Сегодня, прежде чем пропоет петух, ты трижды отречешься от Меня».

62 Он вышел со двора и горько заплакал.

63 Люди, схватившие Иисуса, глумились над Ним и избивали Его,

64 завязав Ему глаза, и спрашивали: «Ты же пророк, так скажи, кто ударил Тебя?»

65 И многими другими оскорблениями они осыпали Его.

66 Когда только рассвело, собрались старейшины народа, первосвященники и книжники на совет Синедриона, и привели туда Иисуса.

67 «Скажи нам, Ты — Мессия?» — спросили они. «Если скажу вам, — ответил им Иисус, — вы не поверите,

68 если же Сам спрошу вас, не ответите.

69 Но отныне Сын Человеческий будет сидеть по правую руку Всемогущего Бога».

70 Тогда все закричали: «Так значит, Ты — Сын Божий?» На это Он им ответил: «Да, вы сами говорите, что Я — Сын Божий».

71 «Какое еще нужно нам свидетельство? — сказали они. — Ведь мы сами его услышали из Его уст».

Chapter 22

1 NOW the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the passover, was at hand.

2 And the high priests and the scribes sought how to kill him; but they were afraid of the people.

3 But Satan had taken possession of Judas who is called of Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

4 So he went away, and spoke with the high priests and the scribes and officers of the temple, about delivering him to them.

5 And they were glad and promised to give him money.

6 And he agreed with them, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the people.

7 Then the day of unleavened bread came, on which it was the custom to kill the passover lamb.

8 So Jesus sent Peter and John, and said to them, Go and prepare the passover for us to eat.

9 They said to him, Where do you wish us to prepare?

10 He said to them, Behold, when you enter the city, you will meet a man carrying a skin full of water; follow him. And wherever he enters,

11 Say to the master of the house, Our Teacher says, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the passover with my disciples?

12 And behold, he will show you an upper room, large and furnished; there make ready.

13 And they went and found just as he had said to them; and they prepared the passover.

14 And when the time came, Jesus came and sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

15 And he said to them, I have desired with desire to eat this passover with you before I suffer;

16 For I say to you, that henceforth, I will not eat it, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And he took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves.

18 For I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.

19 And he took bread and gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them and said, This is my body, which is given for your sake; this do in remembrance of me.

20 And likewise also the cup, after they had eaten the supper, he said, This is the cup of the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.

21 But behold, the hand of him who is to betray me is on the table.

22 And the Son of man will go, just as he has been destined; but woe to the man by whose hand he will be betrayed!

23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which one of them was to do this act.

24 There was also a dispute among them, as to who is the greatest among them.

25 Jesus said to them, The kings of the Gentiles are also their owners; and those who rule over them are called benefactors.

26 But not so with you; but he who is great among you, let him be the least, and he who is a leader be like a minister.

27 For who is greater, he who sits down or he who serves? Is it not he who sits down? but I am among you as one who serves.

28 You are those who have remained with me, throughout my trials.

29 And I promise you, just as my Father has promised me, a kingdom,

30 That you may eat and drink at the table in my kingdom; and you will sit on chairs, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.

31 And Jesus said to Simon, Simon, behold Satan wants to sift all of you as wheat;

32 But I have made supplication for you that your faith may not weaken; and even you in time will repent, and strengthen your brethren.

33 Simon said to him, My Lord, I am ready with you, even for the prison and for death.

34 Jesus said to him, I say to you, Simon, the cock will not crow today, until you have denied three times that you know me.

35 And he said to them, When I sent you out without purses, and without bags, and shoes, did you lack anything? They said to him, Not a thing.

36 He said to them, From now on he who has purses, let him take them, and the bag likewise; and he who has no sword, let him sell his robe and buy for himself a sword.

37 For I say to you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, He will be numbered among the wicked; for all the things concerning me will be fulfilled.

38 And they said to him, Our Lord, behold here are two swords. He said to them, That is enough.

39 And he went out and went away, as it was his custom, to the Mount of the Home of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

40 And when he arrived at a place, he said to them, Pray that you may not enter into temptation.

41 And he separated from them, about the distance of a stone's throw, and he kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, O Father, if you will, let this cup pass from me; but not as I will, but your will be done.

43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, to strengthen him.

44 And he was in fear, and prayed earnestly; and his sweat became like drops of blood; and he fell down upon the ground.

45 Then he rose up from his prayer, and came to his disciples, and found them sleeping because of distress.

46 And he said to them, Why do you sleep? rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.

47 While he was still speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, coming before them; and he drew near to Jesus and kissed him. For this was the sign he had given them, He whom I kiss, it is he.

48 Jesus said to him, Judas, do you betray the Son of man with a kiss?

49 When those who were with him saw what happened, they said to him, Our Lord, shall we smite them with swords?

50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

51 But Jesus answered and said, It is enough for the present. And he touched the ear of him who was wounded, and healed it.

52 And Jesus said to the high priests and the elders and the officers of the temple, who had come against him, Have you come out against me to arrest me with swords and staves, as if you were against a bandit?

53 I was with you every day in the temple, and you did not even point your hands at me; but this is your turn, and the power of darkness.

54 And they arrested him, and brought him to the house of the high priest. And Simon followed him afar off.

55 And they kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard, and they sat around it; and Simon also sat among them.

56 And a young woman saw him sitting by the fire, and she looked at him and said, This man also was with him.

57 But he denied, and said, Woman, I do not know him.

58 And after a little while, another saw him, and said to him, You also are one of them. But Peter said, I am not.

59 And after an hour, another one argued and said, Truly, this man also was with him; for he is also a Galilean.

60 Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying. And immediately while he was still speaking, the cock crew.

61 And Jesus turned and looked at Peter. And Simon remembered the word of our Lord, that he said to him, Before the cock crows you will deny me three times.

62 And Simon went outside and wept bitterly.

63 And the men who held Jesus mocked him,

64 And they covered his head, and smote him on his face, saying, Prophesy, who has struck you.

65 And many other things they blasphemed and said against him.

66 As soon as it was daybreak, the elders and the high priests and the scribes gathered together, and brought him up to their council chamber.

67 And they said to him, If you are the Christ, tell us. He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe me.

68 And if I ask you, you will not answer me nor release me.

69 From henceforth the Son of man will sit at the right hand of the power of God.

70 And they all said, Are you then the Son of God? Jesus said to them, You say that I am.

71 And they said, Why then do we need witnesses? for we have heard it from his own mouth.

17 Он взял чашу, возблагодарил Бога и сказал: «Возьмите эту чашу и пейте все из нее,	17 And he took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves.

Делайте это в память обо Мне».	19 And he took bread and gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them and said, This is my body, which is given for your sake; this do in remembrance of me.

23 И они стали спрашивать друг друга, кто же из них способен на такое.	23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which one of them was to do this act.
24 Произошел между ними и спор, кто из них должен считаться самым главным.	24 There was also a dispute among them, as to who is the greatest among them.
25 Иисус же сказал им: «Цари язычников господствуют над своими подданными, и те, кто властвует над ними, „благодетелями“ именуются.	25 Jesus said to them, The kings of the Gentiles are also their owners; and those who rule over them are called benefactors.

51 «Оставьте, довольно!» — воскликнул Иисус. И, коснувшись уха слуги, Он исцелил его.	51 But Jesus answered and said, It is enough for the present. And he touched the ear of him who was wounded, and healed it.
52 Обратившись к первосвященникам, старейшинам и начальникам храмовой стражи, которые пришли за Ним, Иисус сказал: «Словно на разбойника вышли вы с мечами и кольями!	52 And Jesus said to the high priests and the elders and the officers of the temple, who had come against him, Have you come out against me to arrest me with swords and staves, as if you were against a bandit?
53 Каждый день Я был среди вас в Храме, и вы ни разу не подняли на Меня руки, но теперь — ваше время и власть тьмы».	53 I was with you every day in the temple, and you did not even point your hands at me; but this is your turn, and the power of darkness.
54 Тогда они схватили Иисуса и повели. Они привели Его в дом первосвященника, Петр же шел за ними поодаль,	54 And they arrested him, and brought him to the house of the high priest. And Simon followed him afar off.
55 а во дворе он сел вместе с теми людьми, которые там разожгли костер.	55 And they kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard, and they sat around it; and Simon also sat among them.
56 И увидела его при свете огня одна служанка, и, вглядевшись в него, сказала: «И этот был с Ним!»	56 And a young woman saw him sitting by the fire, and she looked at him and said, This man also was with him.
57 Но он отрицал: «Женщина, я не знаю Его!»	57 But he denied, and said, Woman, I do not know him.
58 Немного погодя кто-то еще заметил его и сказал: «И ты из них». «Да нет же, друг!» — ответил Петр.	58 And after a little while, another saw him, and said to him, You also are one of them. But Peter said, I am not.
59 Когда же прошло около часа, кто-то другой стал настаивать: «Верно, и этот был с Ним, он ведь галилеянин».	59 And after an hour, another one argued and said, Truly, this man also was with him; for he is also a Galilean.
60 Но Петр сказал ему: «Друг, я не понимаю, о чем ты говоришь!» В тот же миг — он еще говорил — пропел петух,	60 Peter said, Man, I do not know what you are saying. And immediately while he was still speaking, the cock crew.
61 и Господь, обернувшись, взглянул на Петра. И вспомнил Петр слова Господа, которые Тот сказал ему: «Сегодня, прежде чем пропоет петух, ты трижды отречешься от Меня».	61 And Jesus turned and looked at Peter. And Simon remembered the word of our Lord, that he said to him, Before the cock crows you will deny me three times.
62 Он вышел со двора и горько заплакал.	62 And Simon went outside and wept bitterly.
63 Люди, схватившие Иисуса, глумились над Ним и избивали Его,	63 And the men who held Jesus mocked him,
64 завязав Ему глаза, и спрашивали: «Ты же пророк, так скажи, кто ударил Тебя?»	64 And they covered his head, and smote him on his face, saying, Prophesy, who has struck you.
65 И многими другими оскорблениями они осыпали Его.	65 And many other things they blasphemed and said against him.
66 Когда только рассвело, собрались старейшины народа, первосвященники и книжники на совет Синедриона, и привели туда Иисуса.	66 As soon as it was daybreak, the elders and the high priests and the scribes gathered together, and brought him up to their council chamber.
67 «Скажи нам, Ты — Мессия?» — спросили они. «Если скажу вам, — ответил им Иисус, — вы не поверите,	67 And they said to him, If you are the Christ, tell us. He said to them, If I tell you, you will not believe me.
68 если же Сам спрошу вас, не ответите.	68 And if I ask you, you will not answer me nor release me.
69 Но отныне Сын Человеческий будет сидеть по правую руку Всемогущего Бога».	69 From henceforth the Son of man will sit at the right hand of the power of God.
70 Тогда все закричали: «Так значит, Ты — Сын Божий?» На это Он им ответил: «Да, вы сами говорите, что Я — Сын Божий».	70 And they all said, Are you then the Son of God? Jesus said to them, You say that I am.
71 «Какое еще нужно нам свидетельство? — сказали они. — Ведь мы сами его услышали из Его уст».	71 And they said, Why then do we need witnesses? for we have heard it from his own mouth.
