Книга пророка Исайи

Глава 41

1 «Внемлите Мне, умолкнув, побережья! Да воспрянут народы, да обратятся ко Мне и скажут: „Соберемся вместе, чтобы Бог рассудил нас!“

2 Кто пробудил победителя на востоке и за Собою следовать призвал его? Кто отдает ему народы и повергает перед ним царей? Мечом своим он сокрушает всех и обращает в пыль, стрелами по ветру их пускает, как солому;

3 преследует он их и остается невредим, идя путем, которым не ходил он прежде.

4 Кто сделал это всё, кто сотворил? Кто призывает к жизни за родом род? Я, ГОСПОДЬ, первым был, и с последними буду Я».

5 Увидели его побережья и устрашились, дальние страны затрепетали. Приблизились, подошли.

6 …Каждый помогает ближнему своему и брату своему внушает: «Крепись!»

7 Ремесленник ободряет золотых дел мастера, а кузнец — молотобойца, приговаривая: «Спаяно крепко», да еще и гвоздями прибивает, чтобы не шаталось!

8 «О Израиль, ты слуга Мой, ты Иаков, коего избрал Я, потомство Авраама, друга Моего!

9 Собрал Я тебя со всех концов земли, призвал из дальних даже краев, сказал: „Ты — слуга Мой, не отверг Я тебя, а избрал!“

10 Не бойся, Я с тобой, ничего не страшись, ибо Я — Бог твой, Я придам тебе сил и помогу тебе, поддержит тебя праведная рука Моя.

11 Стыд и срам покроют всех тех, в ком ярость против тебя кипела; в ничто обратятся враги твои, погибнут препирающиеся с тобой —

12 станешь искать их, но не найдешь никого из враждовавших с тобой, сгинут все, кто с тобой воевал, в ничто обратятся.

13 Я, ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, держу тебя за руку и говорю: „Ничего не бойся, Я помогу тебе!“

14 Не бойся, как ни мал ты и жалок, Иаков, племя Израиля, Я помогу тебе, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, Избавитель твой, Святой Бог Израилев. —

15 Я уподоблю тебя молотильным салазкам — новым, со множеством зубьев острых, размолотишь ты ими горы в крошево и сомнешь любые холмы, как солому.

16 Ты провеешь их, и ветер их взметет, мощный вихрь разнесет по земле. И тогда ты о ГОСПОДЕ возликуешь, Святым Богом Израиля будешь хвалиться.

17 Бедные, нищие ищут воды, нет ее — пересохли от жажды языки их. Но Я, ГОСПОДЬ, им отвечу, Я, Бог Израиля, их не оставлю.

18 С голых скал пролью Я потоки, и в долинах зажурчат ручьи, обращу пустыню в полноводное озеро, орошу иссохшую землю источниками.

19 Насажу в пустыне кедр и акацию, мирт и оливу, будут рядом расти в степи кипарис, платан и сосна —

20 и увидят все, и узнают, задумаются и поймут, что соделала всё это рука ГОСПОДНЯ, Святой Бог Израиля всё сие сотворил».

21 «Осведомите Меня о вашей тяжбе, приведите доказательства! — говорит Царь Иакова. —

22 Да, пусть идолы их скажут нам, пусть поведают, что случится! Расскажите нам, что было прежде, тогда мы рассудим и поймем, каков исход будет, или расскажите о том, что грядет.

23 Будущее предреките, вот тогда и узнаем мы, что вы — боги, или сделайте нечто доброе или худое, чтобы мы узрели это и изумились.

24 Но вы — ничто! Бессильны вы сделать что-либо! Мерзок тот, кто предпочтет вас Богу Живому!

25 С севера Я направил его, и он явился; с востока приходит, призывая Мое имя, попирая, словно грязь, правителей, как гончар глину топчет.

26 Кто издавна возвестил об этом, чтобы мы заранее узнали, чтобы потом согласились: „Так и вышло“? Нет, никто не сказал, не возвестил, и никто не услышал слов ваших.

27 Это Я был первым, Кто сказал Сиону: „Вот они!“ — направил в Иерусалим посланника с доброй вестью.

28 Но вот смотрю — и нет у них никого, не нашлось среди идолов такого советника, которого мог бы Я спросить, а он бы ответил.

29 Нет, все эти боги — обман, ничего они не сотворили, и все литые идолы их — ветер и пустота».

Isaiah

Chapter 41

1 KEEP silence, O you islands; and let the people renew their strength; let them come near; then let them speak; let them come near together to judgment.

2 Who has stirred up the righteous one from the east, and hastened him on? The nations shall surrender before him, and kings shall be confounded. He gave them as the dust to his sword and as driven stubble to his bow.

3 He shall pursue them, then make peace; and he shall not pass that way on foot.

4 Who has prepared and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first and the last; I am he.

5 The islands saw it, and were afraid; and the ends of the earth were afraid, and they drew near and came.

6 They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

7 The carpenter encourages the goldsmith, and he who smooths with the hammer him who strikes the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering; and they fasten it with nails, that it should not be moved.

8 But now, Israel, you are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham my friend, whom I have strengthened.

9 I have called you from the ends of the earth and from among the prophets, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and have not rejected you;

10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I have strengthened you, and have also helped you, yea, I will also uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 All those that reproach you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and those who strive with you shall perish.

12 You shall seek them that strive with you, but you shall not find them; they that war against you shall be as if they were nothing.

13 For I am the LORD your God, the strengthener of your right hand. I have said to you, Fear not; I am your helper.

14 Fear not, O you helpless men of Jacob, O you remnant of Israel! I am your helper, says the LORD, and your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel.

15 Behold, I have made you as a new threshing instrument having teeth; a thing which tears and crushes to pieces; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.

16 You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the LORD and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is dried with thirst, I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

18 I will open rivers in the mountains and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness pools of water, and the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedars, the acacia tree, the myrtle, and the olive tree; I will set in the desert the cypress and the pine and the box tree together;

20 That they may see and know and consider and understand that the hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.

21 Bring near your cause, says the LORD; bring near your counsels, says the King of Jacob.

22 Let them come near and show us the things that are to come; show us the former things, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us the things that are to come.

23 Show us the wonders that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may relate it and behold it together.

24 Behold, you are nothing, and your works are corrupt; choosing you is an abomination.

25 I have stirred up one from the north, and he shall come from the rising of the sun, and shall call on my name; and the princes shall come, and shall be trodden down like mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

26 Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? And beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? Yea, there is none that shows, yea, there is none that declares, yea, there is none that hears your words.

27 These things are the chief concern of Zion; behold, I will give to Jerusalem one that brings good tidings.

28 For I beheld, and there was no man who could meditate about these things, that I might ask him, and that he might give me an answer.

29 Behold, they are all nothing; their works are vanity; their images are wind and vanity.

3 преследует он их и остается невредим, идя путем, которым не ходил он прежде.	3 He shall pursue them, then make peace; and he shall not pass that way on foot.
4 Кто сделал это всё, кто сотворил? Кто призывает к жизни за родом род? Я, ГОСПОДЬ, первым был, и с последними буду Я».	4 Who has prepared and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first and the last; I am he.
5 Увидели его побережья и устрашились, дальние страны затрепетали. Приблизились, подошли.	5 The islands saw it, and were afraid; and the ends of the earth were afraid, and they drew near and came.
6 …Каждый помогает ближнему своему и брату своему внушает: «Крепись!»	6 They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
7 Ремесленник ободряет золотых дел мастера, а кузнец — молотобойца, приговаривая: «Спаяно крепко», да еще и гвоздями прибивает, чтобы не шаталось!	7 The carpenter encourages the goldsmith, and he who smooths with the hammer him who strikes the anvil, saying, It is ready for the soldering; and they fasten it with nails, that it should not be moved.
8 «О Израиль, ты слуга Мой, ты Иаков, коего избрал Я, потомство Авраама, друга Моего!	8 But now, Israel, you are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham my friend, whom I have strengthened.
9 Собрал Я тебя со всех концов земли, призвал из дальних даже краев, сказал: „Ты — слуга Мой, не отверг Я тебя, а избрал!“	9 I have called you from the ends of the earth and from among the prophets, and said to you, You are my servant; I have chosen you, and have not rejected you;
10 Не бойся, Я с тобой, ничего не страшись, ибо Я — Бог твой, Я придам тебе сил и помогу тебе, поддержит тебя праведная рука Моя.	10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I have strengthened you, and have also helped you, yea, I will also uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Стыд и срам покроют всех тех, в ком ярость против тебя кипела; в ничто обратятся враги твои, погибнут препирающиеся с тобой —	11 All those that reproach you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing; and those who strive with you shall perish.
12 станешь искать их, но не найдешь никого из враждовавших с тобой, сгинут все, кто с тобой воевал, в ничто обратятся.	12 You shall seek them that strive with you, but you shall not find them; they that war against you shall be as if they were nothing.
13 Я, ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, держу тебя за руку и говорю: „Ничего не бойся, Я помогу тебе!“	13 For I am the LORD your God, the strengthener of your right hand. I have said to you, Fear not; I am your helper.
14 Не бойся, как ни мал ты и жалок, Иаков, племя Израиля, Я помогу тебе, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, Избавитель твой, Святой Бог Израилев. —	14 Fear not, O you helpless men of Jacob, O you remnant of Israel! I am your helper, says the LORD, and your Saviour, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Я уподоблю тебя молотильным салазкам — новым, со множеством зубьев острых, размолотишь ты ими горы в крошево и сомнешь любые холмы, как солому.	15 Behold, I have made you as a new threshing instrument having teeth; a thing which tears and crushes to pieces; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.
16 Ты провеешь их, и ветер их взметет, мощный вихрь разнесет по земле. И тогда ты о ГОСПОДЕ возликуешь, Святым Богом Израиля будешь хвалиться.	16 You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them; and you shall rejoice in the LORD and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

19 Насажу в пустыне кедр и акацию, мирт и оливу, будут рядом расти в степи кипарис, платан и сосна —	19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedars, the acacia tree, the myrtle, and the olive tree; I will set in the desert the cypress and the pine and the box tree together;
20 и увидят все, и узнают, задумаются и поймут, что соделала всё это рука ГОСПОДНЯ, Святой Бог Израиля всё сие сотворил».	20 That they may see and know and consider and understand that the hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.
21 «Осведомите Меня о вашей тяжбе, приведите доказательства! — говорит Царь Иакова. —	21 Bring near your cause, says the LORD; bring near your counsels, says the King of Jacob.
22 Да, пусть идолы их скажут нам, пусть поведают, что случится! Расскажите нам, что было прежде, тогда мы рассудим и поймем, каков исход будет, или расскажите о том, что грядет.	22 Let them come near and show us the things that are to come; show us the former things, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us the things that are to come.
23 Будущее предреките, вот тогда и узнаем мы, что вы — боги, или сделайте нечто доброе или худое, чтобы мы узрели это и изумились.	23 Show us the wonders that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may relate it and behold it together.
24 Но вы — ничто! Бессильны вы сделать что-либо! Мерзок тот, кто предпочтет вас Богу Живому!	24 Behold, you are nothing, and your works are corrupt; choosing you is an abomination.
