Chapter 8

1 THERE is therefore no condemnation to them who walk in the flesh after the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Jesus Christ has made you free from the law of sin and death.

3 For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.

6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.

13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.

14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

16 And this Spirit bears witness to our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Jesus Christ; so that if we suffer with him, we shall also be glorified with him.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of all mankind waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For man was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who gave him free will in the hope he would choose rightly.

21 Because man himself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors in pain to this day.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our bodies.

24 For we live in hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for if we see it, why should we yet hope?

25 But if we hope for that which we do not see, then do we wait for it in patience.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses: for we do not know what is right and proper for us to pray for: but the Spirit prays for us with that earnestness which cannot be described.

27 And he who searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, for the Spirit prays for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 He knew them in advance and he marked them with the likeness of the image of his Son that he might be the first-born among many brethren.

30 Moreover, those he did mark in advance, he has called, and those he has called, he has declared righteous, and those he has declared righteous, he has glorified.

31 What then shall we say concerning these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, why will he not freely give us all things with him?

33 Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.

35 What shall separate me from the love of Christ? tribulation, or imprisonment, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For your sake we die every day, and we are accounted as lambs for the slaughter.

37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our LORD.

Глава 8

1 Так что нет никакого теперь осуждения тем, которые живут во Христе Иисусе, не по плоти живут, но по Духу.

2 Закон Духа, дарующий жизнь во Христе Иисусе, освободил тебя от закона греха и смерти.

3 Что бессилен был сделать Закон (по вине нашей плоти), то Бог совершил по причине греха: Он Сына послал Своего в подобии плоти греховной. Так Он грех осудил в человеке,

4 дабы всё верное и справедливое, что составляет Закон, исполнилось в нас, живущих по Духу, а не по влечению плоти.

5 Кто по влечению плоти живет, тот о плотском и помышляет, а кто по побуждению Духа — к духовному тот устремлен.

6 Помышления плотские — к смерти, устремленья духовные — к жизни и к миру.

7 Плотский ум Богу враждебен: он закону не покоряется Божьему, да и не может.

8 Так что люди, живущие у плоти в подчинении, угодить Богу не могут.

9 Но вы не под властью плоти живете, а в покорности Духу (если в самом деле живет в вас Дух Божий); а кто Духа Христова лишен, тот не Его.

10 Если же в вас живет Христос, то, хотя, по причине греха, ваше тело и смертно, вы, Духом Божиим в праведность облеченные, живы.

11 И поскольку живет в вас Дух Того, Кто из мертвых воскресил Иисуса, Воскресивший из мертвых Христа оживит и ваши тела смертные пребывающим в вас Духом Своим.

12 И выходит, мы все должники, братья мои, но не плоти, чтоб ей подчиняться;

13 вам известно: живущие, как того плоть пожелает, обречены на смерть. Вы же умерщвляете Духом греховные дела тела, и поэтому будете жить.

14 Все, кто движим Божиим Духом, — все они Бога сыны.

15 Ибо Дух сей, Который вы обрели, это вовсе не рабства дух. Не к страху вернулись вы, а приняли усыновления Дух, Которым каждый из нас взывает: «Авва! Отец мой!»

16 Сам этот Дух в согласии с собственным нашим духом говорит нам, что мы Божии дети,

17 а если мы дети Его, то наследники, и наследники Бога, стало быть, сонаследники Христа, конечно, если с Ним мы страдаем, чтобы нам разделить и славу Его.

18 Пред такою грядущею славой, какая откроется нам, все страдания наши земные, я полагаю, ничто.

19 С нетерпением ждет всё творение, что в славе той явит Бог Своих сыновей.

20 Ибо не по желанию своему творение суете покорилось, а по воле Того, Кто ей участь такую определил с уверенностью,

21 что в конце всё живое Его творение избавлено будет от рабства у тленья и получит свободу великую, в которой пребудут все Божии дети.

22 Знаем мы, что всё сотворенное Богом стенает и, словно при родах, мучается до сих пор.

23 И не только оно, но и мы, кому дан Дух как первые плоды грядущей жатвы, стонем в душе и томительно ждем усыновления, ждем освобождения от смерти.

24 В этой самой надежде и были мы спасены. Не на то в надежде, что уже могли мы видеть (иначе незачем было бы нам надеяться: никому нет нужды надеяться на то, что он уже видит),

25 но в надежде на то, чего видеть не можем, нам приходится ждать терпеливо.

26 Нам и Дух помогает по немощи нашей: ибо мы даже не знаем, о чем и как нам молиться. Но Сам Дух просит за нас в воздыханиях неизреченных.

27 Тот же, Кто испытует наши сердца, знает, конечно, помышления Духа: ведь по воле Божией просит Дух за Божьих людей.

28 И мы знаем: Бог действует с теми, кто любит Его, с теми, кого призвал Он во исполненье намеренья Своего; им Он всё обращает во благо.

29 Ибо тем, кого Бог знал, когда их еще не было, положил Он быть воплощением образа Сына Его, дабы старшим Тот был между многими братьями.

30 И кому такое предопределил Бог, того и призвал Он; кого же призвал, тех оправдал; и кого Он оправдал, тех и прославил.

31 После сказанного что еще остается добавить? Если Бог за нас, кто может быть против нас?

32 Если Он и Сына не пощадил Своего и отдал Его ради всех нас на смерть, разве Он не дарует нам вместе с Ним и всё остальное?

33 Кто сможет избранников Божиих обвинять? Не Бог же, Который оправдывает?

34 Кто их осудит? Не Христос [Иисус] же, Который умер, и более, Который был воскрешен и ныне пребывает по правую руку Бога и ходатайствует за нас?

35 Сможет ли что отлучить нас от Христа, от любви Его отлучить: бедствия или притеснения и гонения, голод ли, нагота иль опасность и меч?

36 Как в Писании сказано: «Весь день из-за Тебя мы в смертельной опасности, держат нас за овец, на заклание обреченных».

37 Нет, над всем торжествуем победу мы силою Возлюбившего нас.

38 И я верую твердо, что ни смерть, ни жизнь, ни ангелы, ни демоны, ни настоящее, ни будущее, ни темные силы вселенские,

39 ни мир вышний, ни бездна — ничто из всего сотворенного не сможет отлучить нас от Божьей любви, явленной нам во Христе Иисусе, Господе нашем.

1 Так что нет никакого теперь осуждения тем, которые живут во Христе Иисусе, не по плоти живут, но по Духу.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life which is in Jesus Christ has made you free from the law of sin and death.

2 Закон Духа, дарующий жизнь во Христе Иисусе, освободил тебя от закона греха и смерти.

3 For the law was weak through the weakness of the flesh, so God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, in order to condemn sin by means of his flesh:

3 Что бессилен был сделать Закон (по вине нашей плоти), то Бог совершил по причине греха: Он Сына послал Своего в подобии плоти греховной. Так Он грех осудил в человеке,

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, for we do not walk after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.

4 дабы всё верное и справедливое, что составляет Закон, исполнилось в нас, живущих по Духу, а не по влечению плоти.

5 For they who are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they who are after the Spirit, do mind the things of the Spirit.

5 Кто по влечению плоти живет, тот о плотском и помышляет, а кто по побуждению Духа — к духовному тот устремлен.

6 To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace;

6 Помышления плотские — к смерти, устремленья духовные — к жизни и к миру.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, because it cannot be.

7 Плотский ум Богу враждебен: он закону не покоряется Божьему, да и не может.

8 So then, they who are in the flesh cannot please God.

8 Так что люди, живущие у плоти в подчинении, угодить Богу не могут.

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit if the Spirit of God truly dwells within you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

9 Но вы не под властью плоти живете, а в покорности Духу (если в самом деле живет в вас Дух Божий); а кто Духа Христова лишен, тот не Его.

10 And if Christ is within you, the body is dead because of sin: but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

10 Если же в вас живет Христос, то, хотя, по причине греха, ваше тело и смертно, вы, Духом Божиим в праведность облеченные, живы.

11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised our LORD Jesus Christ from the dead dwells within you, so he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells within you.

11 И поскольку живет в вас Дух Того, Кто из мертвых воскресил Иисуса, Воскресивший из мертвых Христа оживит и ваши тела смертные пребывающим в вас Духом Своим.

12 Therefore, my brethren, we are not indebted to the flesh to live after the flesh.

12 И выходит, мы все должники, братья мои, но не плоти, чтоб ей подчиняться;

13 For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you, through the Spirit, subdue the deeds of the body, you shall live.

13 вам известно: живущие, как того плоть пожелает, обречены на смерть. Вы же умерщвляете Духом греховные дела тела, и поэтому будете жить.

14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God.

14 Все, кто движим Божиим Духом, — все они Бога сыны.

15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage, to be in fear again; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Avon, Father, our Father.

15 Ибо Дух сей, Который вы обрели, это вовсе не рабства дух. Не к страху вернулись вы, а приняли усыновления Дух, Которым каждый из нас взывает: «Авва! Отец мой!»

16 And this Spirit bears witness to our spirit, that we are the children of God:

16 Сам этот Дух в согласии с собственным нашим духом говорит нам, что мы Божии дети,

22 Знаем мы, что всё сотворенное Богом стенает и, словно при родах, мучается до сих пор.

25 но в надежде на то, чего видеть не можем, нам приходится ждать терпеливо.

26 Нам и Дух помогает по немощи нашей: ибо мы даже не знаем, о чем и как нам молиться. Но Сам Дух просит за нас в воздыханиях неизреченных.

32 Если Он и Сына не пощадил Своего и отдал Его ради всех нас на смерть, разве Он не дарует нам вместе с Ним и всё остальное?

33 Who is to complain against the chosen ones of God? It is God who justifies.

33 Кто сможет избранников Божиих обвинять? Не Бог же, Который оправдывает?

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and rose again, and he is at the right hand of God making intercession for us.

37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

37 Нет, над всем торжествуем победу мы силою Возлюбившего нас.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor empires, nor armies, nor things present, nor things to come,

38 И я верую твердо, что ни смерть, ни жизнь, ни ангелы, ни демоны, ни настоящее, ни будущее, ни темные силы вселенские,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Jesus Christ our LORD.

39 ни мир вышний, ни бездна — ничто из всего сотворенного не сможет отлучить нас от Божьей любви, явленной нам во Христе Иисусе, Господе нашем.
