Chapter 28

1 AND it came to pass that same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, Hananiah the son of Azur the false prophet, who was from Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people, saying,

2 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

3 Within two years I will bring back to this place all the vessels of the LORD'S house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon.

4 And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon, says the LORD; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the false prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of the LORD.

6 And Jeremiah said, Amen! may the LORD do so; the LORD perform the words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the LORD'S house and all the captives from Babylon to this place.

7 Nevertheless, hear now this word which I speak before you and before all the people;

8 The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied both against many countries and against great kingdoms, of war and of evil and of pestilence.

9 If a prophet prophesies of peace, then when the word of that prophet shall come to pass, he shall be known as the one whom the LORD has truly sent.

10 Then Hananiah the false prophet took the bands of the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and broke them.

11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says the LORD: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

12 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, after Hananiah the false prophet had broken the yoke bands from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13 Go and tell Hananiah the false prophet, Thus says the LORD: You have broken the yoke of wood; but you shall make in their place a yoke of iron.

14 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him; and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the false prophet, Hear now, Hananiah, the LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.

16 Therefore, thus says the LORD: Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth; this very year you shall die, for you have spoken iniquity in the presence of the LORD.

17 So Hananiah the false prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

2 так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 Бог430 Израилев:3478 сокрушу7665 ярмо5923 царя4428 Вавилонского;894

3 через два3117 года8141 Я возвращу7725 на место4725 сие все сосуды3627 дома1004 Господня,3068 которые Навуходоносор,5019 царь4428 Вавилонский,894 взял3947 из сего места4725 и перенес935 их в Вавилон;894

4 и Иехонию,3204 сына1121 Иоакима,3079 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 и всех пленных1546 Иудеев,3063 пришедших935 в Вавилон,894 Я возвращу7725 на место4725 сие, говорит5002 Господь;3068 ибо сокрушу7665 ярмо5923 царя4428 Вавилонского.894

5 И сказал559 Иеремия3414 пророк5030 пророку5030 Анании2608 пред глазами5869 священников3548 и пред глазами5869 всего народа,5971 стоявших5975 в доме1004 Господнем,3068 —

6 и сказал559 Иеремия3414 пророк:5030 да будет543 так, да сотворит6213 сие Господь!3068 да исполнит6965 Господь3068 слова1697 твои, какие ты произнес5012 о возвращении7725 из Вавилона894 сосудов3627 дома1004 Господня3068 и всех пленников1473 на место4725 сие!

7 Только выслушай8085 слово1697 сие, которое я скажу1696 вслух241 тебе и вслух241 всего народа:5971

8 пророки,5030 которые издавна5769 были прежде3942 меня и прежде3942 тебя, предсказывали5012 многим7227 землям776 и великим1419 царствам4467 войну4421 и бедствие7451 и мор.1698

9 Если какой пророк5030 предсказывал5012 мир,7965 то тогда227 только он признаваем3045 был3045 за пророка,5030 которого истинно571 послал7971 Господь,3068 когда сбывалось935 слово1697 того пророка.5030

10 Тогда пророк5030 Анания2608 взял3947 ярмо4133 с выи6677 Иеремии3414 пророка5030 и сокрушил7665 его.

11 И сказал559 Анания2608 пред глазами5869 всего народа5971 сии слова:559 так говорит559 Господь:3068 так сокрушу7665 ярмо5923 Навуходоносора,5019 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 через два3117 года,8141 сняв его с выи6677 всех народов.1471 И пошел3212 Иеремия3414 своею дорогою.1870

12 И было слово1697 Господне3068 к Иеремии3414 после310 того, как пророк5030 Анания2608 сокрушил7665 ярмо4133 с выи6677 пророка5030 Иеремии:3414

13 иди1980 и скажи559 Анании:2608 так говорит559 Господь:3068 ты сокрушил7665 ярмо4133 деревянное,6086 и сделаешь6213 вместо него ярмо4133 железное.1270

14 Ибо так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 Бог430 Израилев:3478 железное1270 ярмо5923 возложу5414 на выю6677 всех этих народов,1471 чтобы они работали5647 Навуходоносору,5019 царю4428 Вавилонскому,894 и они будут5647 служить5647 ему, и даже зверей2416 полевых7704 Я отдал5414 ему.

15 И сказал559 пророк5030 Иеремия3414 пророку5030 Анании:2608 послушай,8085 Анания:2608 Господь3068 тебя не посылал,7971 и ты обнадеживаешь982 народ5971 сей ложно.8267

16 Посему так говорит559 Господь:3068 вот, Я сброшу7971 тебя с лица6440 земли;127 в этом же году8141 ты умрешь,4191 потому что ты говорил1696 вопреки5627 Господу.3068

17 И умер4191 пророк5030 Анания2608 в том же году,8141 в седьмом7637 месяце.2320

4 And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went to Babylon, says the LORD; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

5 Then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to the false prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of the LORD.

5 И сказал559 Иеремия3414 пророк5030 пророку5030 Анании2608 пред глазами5869 священников3548 и пред глазами5869 всего народа,5971 стоявших5975 в доме1004 Господнем,3068 —

6 And Jeremiah said, Amen! may the LORD do so; the LORD perform the words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the LORD'S house and all the captives from Babylon to this place.

7 Nevertheless, hear now this word which I speak before you and before all the people;

7 Только выслушай8085 слово1697 сие, которое я скажу1696 вслух241 тебе и вслух241 всего народа:5971

8 The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied both against many countries and against great kingdoms, of war and of evil and of pestilence.

10 Then Hananiah the false prophet took the bands of the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and broke them.

11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says the LORD: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all the nations within two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

11 И сказал559 Анания2608 пред глазами5869 всего народа5971 сии слова:559 так говорит559 Господь:3068 так сокрушу7665 ярмо5923 Навуходоносора,5019 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 через два3117 года,8141 сняв его с выи6677 всех народов.1471 И пошел3212 Иеремия3414 своею дорогою.1870

12 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, after Hananiah the false prophet had broken the yoke bands from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13 Go and tell Hananiah the false prophet, Thus says the LORD: You have broken the yoke of wood; but you shall make in their place a yoke of iron.

15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the false prophet, Hear now, Hananiah, the LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.

15 И сказал559 пророк5030 Иеремия3414 пророку5030 Анании:2608 послушай,8085 Анания:2608 Господь3068 тебя не посылал,7971 и ты обнадеживаешь982 народ5971 сей ложно.8267

16 Therefore, thus says the LORD: Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth; this very year you shall die, for you have spoken iniquity in the presence of the LORD.
