1 В начале правления Седекии, царя иудейского, в четвертый год его правления, в пятый месяц того самого года, Хананья, сын Аззура, пророк из Гивона, сказал мне в Храме ГОСПОДНЕМ при священниках и при всем народе:

2 «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „Я сломаю ярмо царя вавилонского.

3 Ровно через два года Я верну сюда все сосуды Храма ГОСПОДНЕГО, которые Навуходоносор, царь вавилонский, забрал из этого города и увез в Вавилон.

4 Я верну обратно и царя иудейского Иехонию, сына Иоакима, и всех жителей Иудеи, которых увели в Вавилон, — это слово ГОСПОДА, — ибо Я сломаю ярмо царя вавилонского“».

5 Тогда пророк Иеремия ответил пророку Хананье при священниках и при всем народе, стоявшем во дворе Храма ГОСПОДНЕГО:

6 «Воистину пусть ГОСПОДЬ так и поступит! Да исполнит ГОСПОДЬ твое предсказание и вернет сюда сосуды Храма ГОСПОДНЕГО и всех пленников, что оказались в Вавилоне.

7 Но выслушай то, что я скажу сейчас тебе и всему народу:

8 пророки в древности, еще задолго до тебя и до меня, предрекали многим странам и великим царствам и войну, и беды, и моровое поветрие.

9 Но пророков, предрекавших мир, лишь тогда называли истинными посланниками ГОСПОДА, когда сбывалось их слово».

10 Тогда пророк Хананья сорвал ярмо с шеи пророка Иеремии и сломал его.

11 И сказал Хананья перед всем народом: «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Через два года Я так же сломаю ярмо Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского, лежащее на шее всех народов“». А Иеремия развернулся и пошел своей дорогой.

12 После того как скинул пророк Хананья ярмо с шеи Иеремии и сломал его, снова было слово ГОСПОДНЕ Иеремии:

13 «Иди к Хананье и скажи ему: „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Ты сломал ярмо деревянное, а Я вместо него сделаю ярмо железное“,

14 ибо так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „Железное ярмо Я надеваю на шею всех этих народов, чтобы они служили Навуходоносору, царю вавилонскому, и они будут служить ему. И даже диких зверей Я даю ему в услужение“».

15 Пророк Иеремия пошел к пророку Хананье и сказал ему: «Слушай, Хананья, не посылал тебя ГОСПОДЬ, а ты заставляешь этот народ верить твоей лжи.

16 Потому так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Я смету тебя с лица земли, в этом же году ты умрешь, потому что твоя лживая весть ведет к противлению ГОСПОДУ“».

17 В том же году, в седьмом месяце, пророк Хананья умер.

1 And it came1961 to pass the same1931 year,8141 in the beginning7225 of the reign4467 of Zedekiah6667 king4428 of Judah,3063 in the fourth7243 year,8141 and in the fifth2549 month,2320 that Hananiah2608 the son1121 of Azur5809 the prophet,5030 which834 was of Gibeon,1391 spoke559 to me in the house1004 of the LORD,3068 in the presence5869 of the priests3548 and of all3605 the people,5971 saying,559

2 Thus3541 speaks559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel,3478 saying,559 I have broken7665 the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon.894

3 Within5750 two full3117 years8141 will I bring7725 again7725 into this2008 place4725 all3605 the vessels3627 of the LORD's3068 house,1004 that Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 took3947 away from this2008 place,4725 and carried935 them to Babylon:894

4 And I will bring7725 again7725 to this2008 place4725 Jeconiah3204 the son1121 of Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah,3063 with all3605 the captives1546 of Judah,3063 that went935 into Babylon,894 said5002 the LORD:3068 for I will break7665 the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon.894

5 Then the prophet5030 Jeremiah3414 said559 to the prophet5030 Hananiah2608 in the presence5869 of the priests,3548 and in the presence5869 of all3605 the people5971 that stood5975 in the house1004 of the LORD,3068

6 Even the prophet5030 Jeremiah3414 said,559 Amen:543 the LORD3068 do6213 so:3651 the LORD3068 perform6965 your words1697 which834 you have prophesied,5012 to bring7725 again7725 the vessels3627 of the LORD's3068 house,1004 and all3605 that is carried1473 away captive,1473 from Babylon894 into413 this2008 place.4725

7 Nevertheless389 hear8085 you now4994 this2008 word1697 that I speak1696 in your ears,241 and in the ears241 of all3605 the people;5971

8 The prophets5030 that have been1961 before6440 me and before6440 you of old5769 prophesied5012 both against413 many7227 countries,776 and against5921 great1419 kingdoms,4467 of war,4421 and of evil,7451 and of pestilence.1698

9 The prophet5030 which834 prophesies5012 of peace,7965 when the word1697 of the prophet5030 shall come935 to pass, then shall the prophet5030 be known,3045 that the LORD3068 has truly571 sent7971 him.

10 Then Hananiah2608 the prophet5030 took3947 the yoke4133 from off5921 the prophet5030 Jeremiah's3414 neck,6677 and broke7665 it.

11 And Hananiah2608 spoke559 in the presence5869 of all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 Thus3602 said559 the LORD;3068 Even3602 so3602 will I break7665 the yoke5923 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 from the neck6677 of all3605 nations1471 within5750 the space5750 of two full3117 years.8141 And the prophet5030 Jeremiah3414 went3212 his way.1870

12 Then the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to Jeremiah3414 the prophet, after310 that Hananiah2608 the prophet5030 had broken7665 the yoke4133 from off5921 the neck6677 of the prophet5030 Jeremiah,3414 saying,559

13 Go1980 and tell559 Hananiah,2608 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 You have broken7665 the yokes4133 of wood;6086 but you shall make6213 for them yokes4133 of iron.1270

14 For thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 I have put5414 a yoke5923 of iron1270 on the neck6677 of all3605 these428 nations,1471 that they may serve5647 Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon;894 and they shall serve5647 him: and I have given5414 him the beasts2416 of the field7704 also.1571

15 Then said559 the prophet5030 Jeremiah3414 to Hananiah2608 the prophet,5030 Hear8085 now,4994 Hananiah;2608 The LORD3068 has not sent7971 you; but you make this2008 people5971 to trust982 in a lie.8267

16 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2005 I will cast7971 you from off5921 the face6440 of the earth:127 this year8141 you shall die,4191 because3588 you have taught1696 rebellion5627 against413 the LORD.3068

17 So Hananiah2608 the prophet5030 died4191 the same1931 year8141 in the seventh7637 month.2320

4 And I will bring7725 again7725 to this2008 place4725 Jeconiah3204 the son1121 of Jehoiakim3079 king4428 of Judah,3063 with all3605 the captives1546 of Judah,3063 that went935 into Babylon,894 said5002 the LORD:3068 for I will break7665 the yoke5923 of the king4428 of Babylon.894

6 «Воистину пусть ГОСПОДЬ так и поступит! Да исполнит ГОСПОДЬ твое предсказание и вернет сюда сосуды Храма ГОСПОДНЕГО и всех пленников, что оказались в Вавилоне.

7 Но выслушай то, что я скажу сейчас тебе и всему народу:

7 Nevertheless389 hear8085 you now4994 this2008 word1697 that I speak1696 in your ears,241 and in the ears241 of all3605 the people;5971

8 пророки в древности, еще задолго до тебя и до меня, предрекали многим странам и великим царствам и войну, и беды, и моровое поветрие.

11 And Hananiah2608 spoke559 in the presence5869 of all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 Thus3602 said559 the LORD;3068 Even3602 so3602 will I break7665 the yoke5923 of Nebuchadnezzar5019 king4428 of Babylon894 from the neck6677 of all3605 nations1471 within5750 the space5750 of two full3117 years.8141 And the prophet5030 Jeremiah3414 went3212 his way.1870
