Chapter 27

1 AND Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

2 And it shall be on the day that you cross the Jordan into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall set up large stones, and cover them with plaster;

3 And you shall write upon them all the words of this law, when you have crossed the Jordan, that you may go into the land which the LORD your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you.

4 Therefore when you have crossed the Jordan, you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, on mount Gebel, and you shall cover them with plaster.

5 And there you shall build an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones; you shall not lift up any iron tool upon them.

6 You shall build the altar of the LORD your God of undressed stones, and you shall offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God:

7 And you shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there and rejoice before the LORD your God.

8 And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

9 And Moses and the priests and the Levites said to all Israel, Give ear and hearken, O Israel; this day you have become the people of the LORD your God.

10 You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God, and do his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day.

11 And Moses charged the people that same day, saying,

12 These tribes shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people when you have crossed the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin;

13 And these tribes shall stand upon Gebel to curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

14 And the Levites shall speak and say to all the people of Israel with a loud voice,

15 Cursed be the man who makes any graven or molten images, for they are an abomination before the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts them in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

16 Cursed be he who reviles his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

17 Cursed be he who removes his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

18 Cursed be he who causes a blind man to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19 Cursed be he who perverts the judgment of the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

20 Cursed be he who lies with his father's wife; and thus uncovers his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

21 Cursed be he who lies with any kind of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

22 Cursed be he who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

23 Cursed be he who lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

24 Cursed be he who smites his neighbor secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

25 Cursed be he who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say. Amen.

26 Cursed be he who does not confirm all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Глава 27

1 Моисей и израильские старейшины говорили с народом, и Моисей сказал: «Исполняйте все заповеди, которые я даю вам сегодня.

2 Вскоре вы перейдёте через реку Иордан и войдёте в землю, которую Господь, Бог ваш, даёт вам. В тот день воздвигните большие камни, обмажьте их известью

3 и запишите на этих камнях все заповеди и учения. Сделайте это, как только перейдёте через реку Иордан, а потом можете войти в землю, которую Господь, Бог ваш, даёт вам, в землю, которая изобилует всяким добром, потому что Господь, Бог ваших предков, обещал дать вам эту землю.

4 Когда перейдёте через реку Иордан, исполните всё, что я вам сегодня велю. Воздвигните камни на горе Гевал, обмажьте эти камни известью

5 и постройте из камней алтарь Господу, Богу вашему, но, обтёсывая камни, не пользуйтесь железными резцами.

6 Возьмите необтёсанные камни для постройки алтаря Господу, Богу вашему, и совершите на этом алтаре приношение всесожжения Господу, Богу вашему,

7 и принесите там жертву содружества и съешьте её. Ешьте мясо и веселитесь там все вместе перед Господом, Богом вашим.

8 Запишите все эти учения на воздвигаемых вами камнях, чтобы их было легко прочитать».

9 Моисей и священники говорили с израильским народом, и сказал Моисей: «Молчи и слушай, Израиль! Сегодня ты стал народом Господа, Бога твоего!

10 Так исполняй же всё, что Господь, Бог твой, велит тебе, исполняй Его заповеди и законы, которые я тебе даю сегодня».

11 И ещё сказал в тот день Моисей народу:

12 «Когда перейдёшь через реку Иордан, вот какие колена будут стоять на горе Гаризим: Симеона, Левия, Иуды, Иссахара, Иосифа и Вениамина.

13 И вот какие колена будут стоять на горе Гевал и произносить проклятия: Рувима, Гада, Асира, Завулона, Дана и Неффалима.

14 А левиты громким голосом скажут израильскому народу:

15 „Проклят тот, кто сделает лжебога и спрячет его в тайнике, потому что эти лжебоги всего лишь истуканы, сделанные ремесленником из дерева, камня или металла, и Господу они ненавистны”. И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

16 „Проклят, кто своими делами проявляет неуважение к своему отцу или матери своей!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

17 „Проклят тот, кто нарушит межу соседа!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

18 „Проклят тот, кто сбивает с пути слепого!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

19 „Проклят тот, кто несправедливо судит чужеземцев, вдов и сирот!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

20 „Проклят тот, кто имеет половое сношение с женой своего отца, потому что позорит своего отца!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

21 „Проклят тот, кто скотоложествует!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

22 „Проклят тот, кто имеет половое сношение со своей родной сестрой или со своей сводной сестрой!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

23 „Проклят тот, кто имеет половые сношения со своей тёщей!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

24 „Проклят тот, кто убил ближнего, даже если не поймают его!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

25 „Проклят тот, кто возьмёт деньги за то, чтобы убить невинного!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”

26 „Проклят тот, кто не поддерживает этот закон и не исполняет его!” И весь народ ответит: „Аминь!”»

2 And it shall be on the day that you cross the Jordan into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall set up large stones, and cover them with plaster;

2 Вскоре вы перейдёте через реку Иордан и войдёте в землю, которую Господь, Бог ваш, даёт вам. В тот день воздвигните большие камни, обмажьте их известью

3 And you shall write upon them all the words of this law, when you have crossed the Jordan, that you may go into the land which the LORD your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you.

3 и запишите на этих камнях все заповеди и учения. Сделайте это, как только перейдёте через реку Иордан, а потом можете войти в землю, которую Господь, Бог ваш, даёт вам, в землю, которая изобилует всяким добром, потому что Господь, Бог ваших предков, обещал дать вам эту землю.

4 Therefore when you have crossed the Jordan, you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, on mount Gebel, and you shall cover them with plaster.

4 Когда перейдёте через реку Иордан, исполните всё, что я вам сегодня велю. Воздвигните камни на горе Гевал, обмажьте эти камни известью

5 And there you shall build an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones; you shall not lift up any iron tool upon them.

5 и постройте из камней алтарь Господу, Богу вашему, но, обтёсывая камни, не пользуйтесь железными резцами.

6 You shall build the altar of the LORD your God of undressed stones, and you shall offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God:

6 Возьмите необтёсанные камни для постройки алтаря Господу, Богу вашему, и совершите на этом алтаре приношение всесожжения Господу, Богу вашему,

7 And you shall offer peace offerings, and shall eat there and rejoice before the LORD your God.

7 и принесите там жертву содружества и съешьте её. Ешьте мясо и веселитесь там все вместе перед Господом, Богом вашим.

8 And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

8 Запишите все эти учения на воздвигаемых вами камнях, чтобы их было легко прочитать».

9 And Moses and the priests and the Levites said to all Israel, Give ear and hearken, O Israel; this day you have become the people of the LORD your God.

9 Моисей и священники говорили с израильским народом, и сказал Моисей: «Молчи и слушай, Израиль! Сегодня ты стал народом Господа, Бога твоего!

10 Так исполняй же всё, что Господь, Бог твой, велит тебе, исполняй Его заповеди и законы, которые я тебе даю сегодня».

11 And Moses charged the people that same day, saying,

11 И ещё сказал в тот день Моисей народу:

14 А левиты громким голосом скажут израильскому народу:
