Psalm 97

1 THE LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

3 Fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.

4 His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw, and trembled.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Confounded are all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols; worship him, all his angels.

8 Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

9 For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

10 You who love the LORD, hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 Light shone for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

1 Псалом [Давидов]. Пойте Господу новую песнь; ибо чудеса сотворил Он. Спасла Его десница Его и святая мышца Его.

2 Явил Господь спасение Свое, пред очами народов открыл правду Свою.

3 Вспомнил Он милость Свою [к сынам Иакова], и верность Свою к дому Израилеву. Все пределы земли увидели спасение Бога нашего.

4 Торжествуй Господу, вся земля; пойте, восклицайте и бряцайте!

5 Бряцайте Господу на гуслях, на гуслях и со гласом псалмопения.

6 При звуке труб и рога торжествуйте пред Царем Господом.

7 Да плещет море, и что наполняет его; вселенная, и живущие в ней;

8 Да рукоплещут реки; купно горы да ликуют,

9 Пред лицем Господа; ибо идет, [ибо идет] судить землю. Будет судить вселенную праведно, и народы - верно.
