Psalm 137

1 BY the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and our captors said to us, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?

5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget me.

6 If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to my palate, if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

7 Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem, who said, Raze it, raze it, even to the foundation thereof.

8 O daughter of Babylon, taker of spoils, blessed shall he be who rewards you as you have served us.

9 Blessed shall he be who takes and dashes your little ones against the stones.

1 [Псалом] Давидов. [Аггея и Захарии]. Славлю Тебя от всего сердца моего, пред богами пою тебе.

2 Поклоняюсь пред святым храмом Твоим, и славлю имя Твое, за благость Твою, и за истину Твою; ибо Ты по всякому имени Твоему возвеличил слово Твое.

3 В день, в который я воззвал, Ты услышал меня, вдохнул в душу мою бодрость.

4 Прославят Тебя, Господи, все цари земные, когда услышат слова уст Твоих;

5 И воспоют пути Господни, ибо велика слава Господня.

6 Ибо высок Господь и видит низкого, и высокого издали узнает.

7 Если я пойду в тесноте, Ты оживишь меня; против свирепости врагов моих, прострешь руку Твою, и защитит меня десница Твоя.

8 Господь совершит за меня. Господи! милость Твоя вечна; дел рук Твоих не оставляй.
