Chapter 24

1 AND Jesus went out of the temple to go away; and his disciples came up to him, and were showing him the building of the temple.

2 But he said to them, Behold, do you not see all of these? truly I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone, which will not be torn down.

3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up talking among themselves, and they said to him, Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

4 Jesus answered and said to them, Be careful that no man deceives you.

5 For many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ, and they will deceive many.

6 You are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars; look out and do not be disturbed; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes, in different places.

8 But all these things are just the beginning of travail.

9 Then they will deliver you over to be oppressed, and they will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

10 Then many will stumble, and they will hate one another, and betray one another.

11 And many false prophets will rise, and will mislead a great many.

12 And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold.

13 But he who has patience to the end, he will be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations; then the end will come.

15 When you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating in the holy place, whoever reads will understand it.

16 Then let those who are in Judaea, flee to the mountain,

17 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down to take things out of his house.

18 And he who is in the field, let him not return back to take his clothes.

19 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!

20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the sabbath.

21 For then will be great suffering, such as has never happened from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again.

22 And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones those days will be shortened.

23 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or there, do not believe it.

24 For there will rise false Christs and lying prophets, and they will show signs and great wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

25 Behold, I have told you in advance.

26 Therefore, if they should say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, do not go out; or, behold, he is in the room, do not believe it.

27 For just as the lightning comes out from the east, and is seen even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

28 For wherever the corpse is, there will the eagles gather.

29 Immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army and great glory.

31 And he will send his angels with a large trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the universe to the other.

32 From the fig tree learn a parable. As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.

33 So even you, when you see all these things, know that it has arrived at the door.

34 Truly I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.

35 Even heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.

37 Just as in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

38 For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark,

39 And they knew nothing until the flood came and carried them all away; such will be the coming of the Son of man.

40 Then two men will be in the field, one will be taken away and the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding at the handmill, one will be taken and the other left.

42 Be alert, therefore, for you do not know at what hour your Lord will come.

43 But know this much, that if the master of the house knew at what watch of the night the thief comes, he would keep awake and would not let his house be plundered.

44 For this reason, you also be ready, for the Son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has appointed over his household, to give them food in due time?

46 Blessed is that servant, when his Lord comes and finds him so doing.

47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all that he has.

48 But if a bad servant should say in his heart, My lord will delay his coming,

49 And he begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with drunkards,

50 The Lord of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know.

51 And he will severely scourge him, and give him a portion like that of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1 Иисус вышел из Храма и хотел было уже удалиться, когда подошли к Нему ученики Его, чтобы показать Ему храмовые строения.

2 Он же сказал им в ответ: «Видите всё это? Поверьте Мне, не останется камня на камне здесь, всё будет разрушено!»

3 Когда же Иисус сидел на горе Масличной, подошли к Нему ученики, чтобы поговорить с Ним наедине. «Скажи нам, когда это будет? И какое знамение предвозвестит пришествие Твое и конец этого мира?»

4 Иисус им сказал: «Смотрите, чтобы никто не ввел в заблуждение вас,

5 ибо многие под именем Моим придут и будут говорить: „Я Христос“; многих введут они в заблуждение.

6 Услышите вы о войнах и о нависших угрозах войны. Пусть не страшит вас то! На самом деле так и должно происходить. Но это еще не конец,

7 ибо восстанет народ на народ, и царство — на царство, будет и голод, и землетрясения то в одном месте, то в другом.

8 Всё это только начало мук родовых.

9 Будут тогда предавать вас на мучения и будут вас убивать, и ненавидеть вас будут из-за Меня все народы.

10 И многие в то время потеряют веру, и предавать будут друг друга, и ненавидеть.

11 Многие лжепророки появятся и введут в заблуждение многих.

12 Беззаконие будет расти, и оттого охладеет многих любовь.

13 Но кто устоит до конца, будет спасен.

14 И проповедана будет эта Благая Весть Божьего Царства по миру всему, во свидетельство всем народам, и тогда придет конец.

15 Когда же увидите вы на месте святом „запустения мерзость“, о которой сказано было через пророка Даниила (читающий должен понять!),

16 тогда, кто в Иудее будет, пусть бегут те в горы.

17 Кто будет на крыше, пусть не спускается взять вещи из дома своего,

18 кто в поле будет, пусть не возвращается за верхней одеждой своей.

19 Как трудно будет женщинам, ожидающим ребенка и кормящим грудью в те дни!

20 Молитесь же, чтобы бегство ваше не случилось ни зимой, ни в субботу!

21 Ибо это будет время великого бедствия, какого доныне не было еще от начала мира и никогда не будет.

22 И если бы не были сокращены те дни, никто б не остался в живых. Но ради избранных сокращены будут те дни.

23 Если вам скажут тогда: „Вот здесь Христос!“ или: „Вот Он там!“ — не верьте!

24 Ибо придут лжехристы и лжепророки и явят великие знамения и чудеса, чтобы, если удастся, даже избранных ввести в заблуждение.

25 Смотрите, предупредил Я вас.

26 Итак, если скажут вам: „Вот Он в пустыне!“ — не выходите, или: „Вот Он скрывается в этом доме!“ — не верьте.

27 Словно молния, что на востоке вспыхнув, светом своим озаряет и запад — таким будет пришествие Сына Человеческого.

28 Там, где труп, орлы соберутся.

29 Сразу же после бедствия дней тех „солнце померкнет, луна света не даст своего, звезды с неба падут, и силы небесные сотрясены будут“.

30 Тогда явится на небе знамение Сына Человеческого; и все народы земли возопиют от страха и смятения, когда увидят Сына Человеческого, нисходящего на облаках небесных с силою и славою великой.

31 При громком трубном звуке Он пошлет ангелов Своих, и соберут они избранных Его со всех концов: от края и до края небес.

32 Возьмите в пример смоковницу: как только ветвь ее набухает от сока и листья на ней распускаются, вы знаете, что близко лето.

33 Точно так же, когда увидите, что всё сказанное сбывается, знайте: пришествие Сына Человеческого близко, оно уже у дверей.

34 Заверяю вас, еще во дни этого поколения сбудется всё.

35 Небо и земля прейдут, но слова Мои останутся навеки.

36 О дне же о том и часе никто не знает: ни ангелы небесные, ни Сын — только один Отец.

37 Как было во дни Ноя, так будет и тогда, когда придет Сын Человеческий.

38 В дни перед потопом люди ели, пили, женились и выходили замуж — до того самого дня, как Ной вошел в ковчег.

39 Не сознавали они ничего, пока не пришел потоп и не погубил всех. Так будет [и] тогда, когда придет Сын Человеческий.

40 Из двух мужчин, в поле работающих, один будет взят, а другой оставлен.

41 Из двух женщин, мелющих на мельнице, одна будет взята, другая оставлена.

42 Итак, бодрствуйте, ибо не знаете, в какой день придет Господин ваш!

43 Помните же, если бы знал хозяин дома, в какой час ночи придет вор, он бодрствовал бы и не дал бы вору забраться в дом.

44 И вы поэтому будьте готовы, ибо Сын Человеческий придет в час, в который не ждете.

45 Кто же тогда тот верный и благоразумный раб, которого в доме своем хозяин поставил над всеми, чтобы вовремя пищу им раздавать?

46 Блажен раб, которого господин его, придя, найдет за порученным делом.

47 Заверяю вас, что поставит хозяин его управлять всем имуществом своим.

48 Ну, а если негодным окажется тот рабом, рассуждающим так: «Не скоро вернется хозяин мой»,

49 если бить начнет он других рабов, есть и пить с пьяницами,

50 то придет хозяин раба того в день, в который тот не ожидает, и в час, о котором не знает тот,

51 определит ему с лицемерами место, где подвергнет жестокому наказанию — и будет он там вопить и скрежетать зубами.

2 But he said to them, Behold, do you not see all of these? truly I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone, which will not be torn down.	2 Он же сказал им в ответ: «Видите всё это? Поверьте Мне, не останется камня на камне здесь, всё будет разрушено!»
3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came up talking among themselves, and they said to him, Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?	3 Когда же Иисус сидел на горе Масличной, подошли к Нему ученики, чтобы поговорить с Ним наедине. «Скажи нам, когда это будет? И какое знамение предвозвестит пришествие Твое и конец этого мира?»
4 Jesus answered and said to them, Be careful that no man deceives you.	4 Иисус им сказал: «Смотрите, чтобы никто не ввел в заблуждение вас,
5 For many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ, and they will deceive many.	5 ибо многие под именем Моим придут и будут говорить: „Я Христос“; многих введут они в заблуждение.
6 You are bound to hear of revolutions and rumors of wars; look out and do not be disturbed; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.	6 Услышите вы о войнах и о нависших угрозах войны. Пусть не страшит вас то! На самом деле так и должно происходить. Но это еще не конец,
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes, in different places.	7 ибо восстанет народ на народ, и царство — на царство, будет и голод, и землетрясения то в одном месте, то в другом.
8 But all these things are just the beginning of travail.	8 Всё это только начало мук родовых.
9 Then they will deliver you over to be oppressed, and they will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.	9 Будут тогда предавать вас на мучения и будут вас убивать, и ненавидеть вас будут из-за Меня все народы.
10 Then many will stumble, and they will hate one another, and betray one another.	10 И многие в то время потеряют веру, и предавать будут друг друга, и ненавидеть.
11 And many false prophets will rise, and will mislead a great many.	11 Многие лжепророки появятся и введут в заблуждение многих.
12 And because of the growth of iniquity, the love of many will become cold.	12 Беззаконие будет расти, и оттого охладеет многих любовь.
13 But he who has patience to the end, he will be saved.	13 Но кто устоит до конца, будет спасен.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all the nations; then the end will come.	14 И проповедана будет эта Благая Весть Божьего Царства по миру всему, во свидетельство всем народам, и тогда придет конец.
15 When you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating in the holy place, whoever reads will understand it.	15 Когда же увидите вы на месте святом „запустения мерзость“, о которой сказано было через пророка Даниила (читающий должен понять!),
16 Then let those who are in Judaea, flee to the mountain,	16 тогда, кто в Иудее будет, пусть бегут те в горы.
17 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down to take things out of his house.	17 Кто будет на крыше, пусть не спускается взять вещи из дома своего,
18 And he who is in the field, let him not return back to take his clothes.	18 кто в поле будет, пусть не возвращается за верхней одеждой своей.
19 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!	19 Как трудно будет женщинам, ожидающим ребенка и кормящим грудью в те дни!
20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter, nor on the sabbath.	20 Молитесь же, чтобы бегство ваше не случилось ни зимой, ни в субботу!
21 For then will be great suffering, such as has never happened from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be again.	21 Ибо это будет время великого бедствия, какого доныне не было еще от начала мира и никогда не будет.
22 And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones those days will be shortened.	22 И если бы не были сокращены те дни, никто б не остался в живых. Но ради избранных сокращены будут те дни.
23 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or there, do not believe it.	23 Если вам скажут тогда: „Вот здесь Христос!“ или: „Вот Он там!“ — не верьте!
24 For there will rise false Christs and lying prophets, and they will show signs and great wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.	24 Ибо придут лжехристы и лжепророки и явят великие знамения и чудеса, чтобы, если удастся, даже избранных ввести в заблуждение.
25 Behold, I have told you in advance.	25 Смотрите, предупредил Я вас.
26 Therefore, if they should say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, do not go out; or, behold, he is in the room, do not believe it.	26 Итак, если скажут вам: „Вот Он в пустыне!“ — не выходите, или: „Вот Он скрывается в этом доме!“ — не верьте.
27 For just as the lightning comes out from the east, and is seen even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man.	27 Словно молния, что на востоке вспыхнув, светом своим озаряет и запад — таким будет пришествие Сына Человеческого.

29 Immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.	29 Сразу же после бедствия дней тех „солнце померкнет, луна света не даст своего, звезды с неба падут, и силы небесные сотрясены будут“.
30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in the sky; and then all the generations of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of the sky, with an army and great glory.	30 Тогда явится на небе знамение Сына Человеческого; и все народы земли возопиют от страха и смятения, когда увидят Сына Человеческого, нисходящего на облаках небесных с силою и славою великой.

32 From the fig tree learn a parable. As soon as its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.	32 Возьмите в пример смоковницу: как только ветвь ее набухает от сока и листья на ней распускаются, вы знаете, что близко лето.
33 So even you, when you see all these things, know that it has arrived at the door.	33 Точно так же, когда увидите, что всё сказанное сбывается, знайте: пришествие Сына Человеческого близко, оно уже у дверей.
34 Truly I say to you, that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.	34 Заверяю вас, еще во дни этого поколения сбудется всё.
35 Even heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.	35 Небо и земля прейдут, но слова Мои останутся навеки.
36 But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.	36 О дне же о том и часе никто не знает: ни ангелы небесные, ни Сын — только один Отец.
37 Just as in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.	37 Как было во дни Ноя, так будет и тогда, когда придет Сын Человеческий.
38 For as the people before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark,	38 В дни перед потопом люди ели, пили, женились и выходили замуж — до того самого дня, как Ной вошел в ковчег.
39 And they knew nothing until the flood came and carried them all away; such will be the coming of the Son of man.	39 Не сознавали они ничего, пока не пришел потоп и не погубил всех. Так будет [и] тогда, когда придет Сын Человеческий.
40 Then two men will be in the field, one will be taken away and the other left.	40 Из двух мужчин, в поле работающих, один будет взят, а другой оставлен.
41 Two women will be grinding at the handmill, one will be taken and the other left.	41 Из двух женщин, мелющих на мельнице, одна будет взята, другая оставлена.
42 Be alert, therefore, for you do not know at what hour your Lord will come.	42 Итак, бодрствуйте, ибо не знаете, в какой день придет Господин ваш!
43 But know this much, that if the master of the house knew at what watch of the night the thief comes, he would keep awake and would not let his house be plundered.	43 Помните же, если бы знал хозяин дома, в какой час ночи придет вор, он бодрствовал бы и не дал бы вору забраться в дом.
44 For this reason, you also be ready, for the Son of man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.	44 И вы поэтому будьте готовы, ибо Сын Человеческий придет в час, в который не ждете.
45 Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has appointed over his household, to give them food in due time?	45 Кто же тогда тот верный и благоразумный раб, которого в доме своем хозяин поставил над всеми, чтобы вовремя пищу им раздавать?
46 Blessed is that servant, when his Lord comes and finds him so doing.	46 Блажен раб, которого господин его, придя, найдет за порученным делом.
47 Truly I say to you, he will appoint him over all that he has.	47 Заверяю вас, что поставит хозяин его управлять всем имуществом своим.
48 But if a bad servant should say in his heart, My lord will delay his coming,	48 Ну, а если негодным окажется тот рабом, рассуждающим так: «Не скоро вернется хозяин мой»,
49 And he begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with drunkards,	49 если бить начнет он других рабов, есть и пить с пьяницами,
50 The Lord of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect, and at an hour that he does not know.	50 то придет хозяин раба того в день, в который тот не ожидает, и в час, о котором не знает тот,
51 And he will severely scourge him, and give him a portion like that of the hypocrites; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	51 определит ему с лицемерами место, где подвергнет жестокому наказанию — и будет он там вопить и скрежетать зубами.
