Psalm 46

1 GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Thou hast been with us always; therefore will we not fear when the earth quakes and mountains are shaken into the heart of the sea,

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the force thereof.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of our God, The holy place of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her in the early morning.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms trembled: he raised his voice, the earth quaked.

7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

8 Come, behold the works of God, for he does wonders in the earth.

9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear asunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

10 Repent, and know that I am God; I am exalted among the heathen and I am exalted in the earth.

11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

2 GOtt ist unsere Zuversicht und776 Stärke, eine Hilfe in den großen Nöten, die4131 uns3820 getroffen haben.

3 Darum fürchten wir uns nicht, wenngleich die Welt unterginge und die Berge2022 mitten ins Meer4325 sänken,

4 wenngleich das Meer wütete und5104 wallete und5892 von seinem Ungestüm die Berge einfielen. Sela.

5 Dennoch soll die Stadt Gottes430 fein lustig bleiben4131 mit7130 ihren Brünnlein, da die heiligen Wohnungen des Höchsten sind.

6 GOtt ist bei ihr6963 drinnen, darum wird4131 sie5414 wohl bleiben; GOtt hilft ihr frühe.

7 Die Heiden müssen verzagen und3068 die Königreiche fallen; das Erdreich muß vergehen, wenn er430 sich hören läßt.

8 Der HErr3068 Zebaoth ist7760 mit uns, der GOtt Jakobs ist unser Schutz. Sela.

9 Kommt her und8313 schauet die Werke des HErrn, der auf7673 Erden776 solch Zerstören anrichtet,

10 der den Kriegen steuert in aller Welt776, der Bogen zerbricht, Spieße zerschlägt und430 Wagen mit Feuer verbrennt.

11 Seid stille und erkennet, daß ich GOtt430 bin! Ich will Ehre einlegen unter den Heiden, ich will Ehre einlegen auf Erden.
