1 Bel1078 bows3766 down,3766 Nebo5015 stoops,7164 their idols6091 were on the beasts,2416 and on the cattle:929 your carriages5385 were heavy3514 laden;6006 they are a burden4853 to the weary5889 beast.

2 They stoop,7164 they bow3766 down3766 together;3162 they could3201 not deliver4422 the burden,4853 but themselves5315 are gone1980 into captivity.7628

3 Listen8085 to me, O house1004 of Jacob,3290 and all3605 the remnant7611 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 which are borne6006 by me from the belly,990 which are carried5375 from the womb:7356

4 And even to your old2209 age2209 I am he; and even to hoar7872 hairs will I carry5445 you: I have made,6213 and I will bear;5375 even I will carry,5445 and will deliver4422 you.

5 To whom4310 will you liken1819 me, and make me equal,7737 and compare4911 me, that we may be like?1819

6 They lavish2107 gold2091 out of the bag,3599 and weigh8254 silver3701 in the balance,7070 and hire7936 a goldsmith;6884 and he makes6213 it a god:410 they fall5456 down,5456 yes,637 they worship.7812

7 They bear5375 him on the shoulder,3802 they carry5445 him, and set3240 him in his place,8478 and he stands;5975 from his place4725 shall he not remove:4185 yes,637 one shall cry6817 to him, yet can he not answer,6030 nor3808 save3467 him out of his trouble.6869

13 I bring7126 near7126 my righteousness;6666 it shall not be far7368 off, and my salvation8668 shall not tarry:309 and I will place5414 salvation8668 in Zion6726 for Israel3478 my glory.8597

2 Вместе они все склоняются и падают на колени; не в силах спасти поклажу, они сами идут в плен.

3 – Слушайте Меня, потомки Якуба, все уцелевшие из народа Исраила,вы, кого Я принял от рождения и носил с тех пор, как вы родились.

4 И до седой старости вашей Я буду Тот же, и Я буду заботиться о вас.Я вас создал и буду носить вас, печься о вас и спасать.

5 С кем вы Меня сравните, равным кому сочтёте?Кому вы Меня уподобите, чтобы сравниться нам?

6 Люди расточают золото из кошельков и отвешивают на весах серебро,нанимают плавильщика, который делает из этого бога,и простираются перед этим идолом, поклоняются ему.

7 Они поднимают его на плечи и носят; ставят его на место, и он стоит. С места своего он не двинется.Пусть взывают к нему – не ответит; он не может спасти от беды.

8 Вспомните это и поразмыслите, в памяти переберите, отступники.

9 Вспомните прежние дела, бывшие издревле; Я – Бог, и другого нет, Я – Бог, и нет Мне равного.

10 Я возвестил о конце изначала, из древности – о грядущем.Я говорю: «Мой замысел устоит; всё, что угодно Мне, – сделаю».

11 С востока зову Я хищную птицу, из далёкой страны – человека, исполнить Мой замысел. То, что Я сказал, Я исполню; то, что задумал, – сделаю.

12 Слушайте Меня, упрямые, далёкие от избавления!

13 Я приближаю Своё избавление, недалеко оно; спасение Моё не замедлит.Я дарую спасение Сиону и славу Мою – Исраилу.
