1 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Sage559 den5315 Priestern3548, Aarons175 Söhnen1121, und sprich559 zu ihnen: Ein Priester soll sich an keinem Toten seines Volks5971 verunreinigen2930,

2 ohne an seinem Blutsfreunde7607, der ihm am nächsten7138 angehöret, als an seiner Mutter517, an seinem Vater1, an seinem Sohne, an seiner Tochter1121, an seinem Bruder251

3 und an seiner Schwester269, die noch eine Jungfrau1330 und noch bei7138 ihm ist und keines Mannes Weib gewesen ist; an der mag er376 sich verunreinigen2930.

4 Sonst soll er sich nicht verunreinigen2930 an2490 irgend einem, der ihm zugehöret unter seinem Volk5971, daß er sich entheilige.

5 Sie sollen auch keine Platte7144 machen7139 auf ihrem Haupte7218, noch ihren Bart6285 abscheren1548, und an ihrem Leibe1320 kein Mal8296 pfetzen.

6 Sie sollen ihrem GOtt430 heilig6944 sein und nicht entheiligen2490 den Namen8034 ihres Gottes430. Denn sie opfern801 des HErrn3068 Opfer801, das Brot3899 ihres Gottes430; darum sollen sie heilig sein.

7 Sie802 sollen keine Hure2181 nehmen, noch keine Geschwächte2491, oder die802 von ihrem Manne376 verstoßen1644 ist3947; denn er ist3947 heilig6918 seinem GOtt430.

8 Darum sollst du ihn heilig6918 halten6942, denn er7126 opfert das Brot3899 deines Gottes430; er soll dir heilig6918 sein, denn ich bin heilig, der HErr3068, der euch6942 heiliget.

9 Wenn eines376 Priesters3548 Tochter1323 anfähet zu huren2181, die soll man2490 mit Feuer784 verbrennen8313; denn sie hat2490 ihren Vater1 geschändet.

10 Welcher Hoherpriester1419 ist4390 unter seinen Brüdern251, auf des Haupt7218 das Salböl4888 gegossen3332 und3548 seine Hand3027 gefüllet ist, daß er angezogen würde3847 mit den Kleidern899, der soll sein6533 Haupt7218 nicht blößen und seine Kleider899 nicht zerschneiden;

11 und soll zu keinem Toten4191 kommen935 und soll sich weder über Vater1 noch über Mutter517 verunreinigen2930.

12 Aus3318 dem Heiligtum4720 soll er nicht gehen, daß er nicht entheilige2490 das Heiligtum4720 seines Gottes430; denn die heilige Krone5145, das Salböl4888 seines Gottes430, ist auf ihm. Ich bin der HErr3068.

13 Eine Jungfrau1331 soll er zum Weibe802 nehmen3947.

14 Aber keine Witwe490 noch Verstoßene1644, noch Geschwächte2491, noch Hure2181, sondern eine Jungfrau1330 seines Volks5971 soll3947 er zum Weibe802 nehmen3947,

15 auf daß er nicht seinen Samen2233 entheilige2490 unter seinem Volk5971; denn ich bin der HErr3068, der ihn heiliget6942.

16 Und der HErr3068 redete1696 mit Mose4872 und sprach559:

17 Rede mit Aaron175 und sprich559: Wenn an jemand deines Samens2233 in euren Geschlechtern1755 ein376 Fehl3971 ist1696, der soll nicht herzutreten7126, daß er7126 das Brot3899 seines Gottes430 opfere.

18 Denn keiner376, an dem ein376 Fehl3971 ist8311, soll herzutreten. Er7126 sei blind5787, lahm6455, mit einer seltsamen Nase, mit ungewöhnlichem2763 Gliede,

19 oder der376 an einem Fuß oder Hand3027 gebrechlich ist7272,

20 oder höckericht ist, oder ein Fell8400 auf dem Auge5869 hat, oder scheel ist, oder grindicht, oder schäbicht, oder der gebrochen4790 ist.

21 Welcher nun von Aarons175, des Priesters3548 Samen2233 einen Fehl3971 an ihm hat, der soll nicht herzutreten, zu opfern801 die Opfer801 des HErrn3068; denn er376 hat einen Fehl3971, darum soll er7126 zu den Broten seines Gottes430 nicht nahen5066, daß er7126 sie5066 opfere.

22 Doch soll er das Brot3899 seines Gottes430 essen398, beide von dem heiligen6944 und vom allerheiligsten6944.

23 Aber doch zum Vorhang6532 soll er nicht kommen, noch zum Altar4196 nahen, weil der Fehl3971 an2490 ihm ist935, daß er nicht entheilige mein Heiligtum4720; denn ich bin der HErr3068, der sie5066 heiliget6942.

24 Und Mose4872 redete1696 solches zu Aaron175 und zu seinen Söhnen1121 und zu allen Kindern1121 Israel3478.

2 But for his kin,7607 that is near7138 to him, that is, for his mother,517 and for his father,1 and for his son,1121 and for his daughter,1323 and for his brother.251

3 And for his sister269 a virgin,1330 that is near7138 to him, which834 has had1961 no3808 husband;376 for her may he be defiled.2930

4 But he shall not defile2930 himself, being a chief1167 man1167 among his people,5971 to profane2490 himself.

5 They shall not make baldness7144 on their head,7218 neither3808 shall they shave1548 off the corner6285 of their beard,2206 nor3808 make any cuttings8296 in their flesh.1320

6 They shall be holy6918 to their God,430 and not profane2490 the name8034 of their God:430 for the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire, and the bread3899 of their God,430 they do offer:7126 therefore they shall be holy.6944

7 They shall not take3947 a wife802 that is a whore,2181 or profane;2491 neither3808 shall they take3947 a woman802 put1644 away from her husband:376 for he is holy6918 to his God.430

8 You shall sanctify6942 him therefore; for he offers7126 the bread3899 of your God:430 he shall be holy6918 to you: for I the LORD,3068 which sanctify6942 you, am holy.6918

9 And the daughter1323 of any376 priest,3548 if3588 she profane2490 herself by playing the whore,2181 she profanes2490 her father:1 she shall be burnt8313 with fire.784

10 And he that is the high1419 priest3548 among his brothers,251 on whose834 head7218 the anointing4888 oil8081 was poured,3332 and that is consecrated3027 to put3847 on the garments,899 shall not uncover6544 his head,7218 nor3808 rend6533 his clothes;899

11 Neither3808 shall he go935 in to any3605 dead4191 body,5315 nor3808 defile2930 himself for his father,1 or for his mother;517

12 Neither3808 shall he go3318 out of the sanctuary,4720 nor3808 profane2490 the sanctuary4720 of his God;430 for the crown5145 of the anointing4888 oil8081 of his God430 is on him: I am the LORD.3068

13 And he shall take3947 a wife802 in her virginity.1331

14 A widow,490 or a divorced1644 woman, or profane,2491 or an harlot,2181 these428 shall he not take:3947 but he shall take3947 a virgin1330 of his own people5971 to wife.802

15 Neither3808 shall he profane2490 his seed2233 among his people:5971 for I the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 him.

16 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Moses,4872 saying,559

17 Speak1696 to Aaron,175 saying,559 Whoever376 834 he be of your seed2233 in their generations1755 that has1961 any blemish,3971 let him not approach7126 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

18 For whatever3605 man376 he be that has a blemish,3971 he shall not approach:7126 a blind5787 man,376 or176 a lame,6455 or176 he that has a flat2763 nose,2763 or176 any thing superfluous,8311

19 Or176 a man376 that is broken footed,7667 7272 or176 broken handed,7667

20 Or176 hunch back,1384 or176 a dwarf,1851 or176 that has a blemish8400 in his eye,5869 or be scurvy,1618 or176 scabbed,3217 or176 has his stones810 broken;4790

21 No man376 that has a blemish3971 of the seed2233 of Aaron175 the priest3548 shall come5066 near5066 to offer7126 the offerings of the LORD3068 made by fire: he has a blemish;3971 he shall not come5066 near5066 to offer7126 the bread3899 of his God.430

22 He shall eat398 the bread3899 of his God,430 both of the most6944 holy,6944 and of the holy.6944

23 Only389 he shall not go935 in to the veil,6532 nor3808 come5066 near5066 to the altar,4196 because3588 he has a blemish;3971 that he profane2490 not my sanctuaries:4720 for I the LORD3068 do sanctify6942 them.

24 And Moses4872 told1696 it to Aaron,175 and to his sons,1121 and to all3605 the children1121 of Israel.3478
