3 Я дал6680 повеление6680 избранным6942 Моим и призвал7121 для совершения гнева639 Моего сильных1368 Моих, торжествующих5947 в величии1346 Моем.

4 Большой1995 шум6963 на горах,2022 как1823 бы от многолюдного7227 народа,5971 мятежный7588 шум6963 царств4467 и народов,1471 собравшихся622 вместе:622 Господь3068 Саваоф6635 обозревает6485 боевое4421 войско.6635

5 Идут935 из отдаленной4801 страны,776 от края7097 неба,8064 Господь3068 и орудия3627 гнева2195 Его, чтобы сокрушить2254 всю землю.776

10 Звезды3556 небесные8064 и светила3685 не дают1984 от себя света;216 солнце8121 меркнет2821 при восходе3318 своем, и луна3394 не сияет5050 светом216 своим.

11 Я накажу6485 мир8398 за зло,7451 и нечестивых7563 — за беззакония5771 их, и положу7673 конец7673 высокоумию1347 гордых,2086 и уничижу8213 надменность1346 притеснителей;6184

12 сделаю то, что люди582 будут3365 дороже3365 чистого6337 золота,6337 и мужи120 — дороже золота3800 Офирского.211

13 Для сего потрясу7264 небо,8064 и земля776 сдвинется7493 с места4725 своего от ярости5678 Господа3068 Саваофа,6635 в день3117 пылающего2740 гнева639 Его.

14 Тогда каждый,376 как преследуемая5080 серна6643 и как покинутые6908 овцы,6629 обратится6437 к народу5971 своему, и каждый376 побежит5127 в свою землю.776

15 Но кто попадется,4672 будет1856 пронзен,1856 и кого схватят,5595 тот падет5307 от меча.2719

16 И младенцы5768 их будут7376 разбиты7376 пред глазами5869 их; домы1004 их будут8155 разграблены8155 и жены802 их обесчещены.79017693

17 Вот, Я подниму5782 против них Мидян,4074 которые не ценят2803 серебра3701 и не пристрастны2654 к золоту.2091

Chapter 13

1 THE prophecy concerning the fall of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw.

2 Lift up a banner on high mountains, raise the voice to them, wave the hand, that they may enter the gates of the princes.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have called the mighty ones in my anger, even them that became strong with my excellency.

4 The noise of tumult on the mountains, like as of many peoples; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; the LORD of hosts is performing wonders.

5 Warriors are coming from afar, and from the end of heaven, even the LORD and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Howl; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a plunder which is made suddenly.

7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt;

8 And they shall be afraid; terror and pangs shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail; they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, which has no remedy, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to make the earth a desolation; and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its rising, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.

11 And I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will bring low the haughtiness of the mighty.

12 I will make a man more precious than gold; even a man than the gold of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall be moved out of its place, in the rebuke of the LORD of hosts, in the day of his fierce anger.

14 And they shall be like gazelles when they flee, and like sheep that have no one to gather them; every man shall turn to his own people, and every one flee to his own land.

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that escapes shall fall by the sword.

16 Their children, shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled and their wives ravished.

17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who have no regard for silver, and have no delight in gold.

18 The bows of young men shall be broken in pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

19 And Babylon, the glory of the kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldean's excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation; neither shall the Arabians encamp there; neither shall the shepherds make their folds there.

21 But wild beasts shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and ostriches shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

22 And the screech-owls shall cry in their palaces, and jackals in their pleasant temples; its time is soon to come, and its days shall not be prolonged.

3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have called the mighty ones in my anger, even them that became strong with my excellency.

4 The noise of tumult on the mountains, like as of many peoples; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; the LORD of hosts is performing wonders.

5 Идут935 из отдаленной4801 страны,776 от края7097 неба,8064 Господь3068 и орудия3627 гнева2195 Его, чтобы сокрушить2254 всю землю.776

5 Warriors are coming from afar, and from the end of heaven, even the LORD and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

6 Рыдайте,3213 ибо день3117 Господа3068 близок,7138 идет935 как разрушительная7701 сила7701 от Всемогущего.7706

6 Howl; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a plunder which is made suddenly.

7 От того руки3027 у всех опустились,7503 и сердце3824 у каждого человека582 растаяло.4549

7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt;

8 Ужаснулись,926 судороги6735 и боли2256 схватили270 их; мучатся,2342 как рождающая,3205 с изумлением8539 смотрят друг376 на друга,7453 лица6440 у них разгорелись.3851

10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its rising, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.

14 And they shall be like gazelles when they flee, and like sheep that have no one to gather them; every man shall turn to his own people, and every one flee to his own land.

15 Но кто попадется,4672 будет1856 пронзен,1856 и кого схватят,5595 тот падет5307 от меча.2719

15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that escapes shall fall by the sword.

16 И младенцы5768 их будут7376 разбиты7376 пред глазами5869 их; домы1004 их будут8155 разграблены8155 и жены802 их обесчещены.79017693

16 Their children, shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled and their wives ravished.

21 But wild beasts shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and ostriches shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
