1 Слово,1697 которое было к Иеремии3414 от Господа:3068

2 встань6965 и сойди3381 в дом1004 горшечника,3335 и там Я возвещу8085 тебе слова1697 Мои.

3 И сошел3381 я в дом1004 горшечника,3335 и вот,2009 он работал6213 свою работу4399 на кружале.70

4 И сосуд,3627 который горшечник3335 делал6213 из глины,2563 развалился7843 в руке3027 его; и он снова7725 сделал6213 из него другой312 сосуд,3627 какой горшечнику3335 вздумалось58693474 сделать.6213

5 И было слово1697 Господне3068 ко мне:

6 не могу3201 ли Я поступить6213 с вами, дом1004 Израилев,3478 подобно горшечнику3335 сему? говорит5002 Господь.3068 Вот, что глина2563 в руке3027 горшечника,3335 то вы в Моей руке,3027 дом1004 Израилев.3478

7 Иногда7281 Я скажу1696 о каком-либо народе1471 и царстве,4467 что искореню,5428 сокрушу5422 и погублю6 его;

8 но если народ1471 этот, на который Я это изрек,1696 обратится7725 от своих злых7451 дел,7451 Я отлагаю5162 то зло,7451 которое помыслил2803 сделать6213 ему.

9 А иногда7281 скажу1696 о каком-либо народе1471 и царстве,4467 что устрою1129 и утвержу5193 его;

10 но если он будет6213 делать6213 злое7451 пред очами5869 Моими и не слушаться8085 гласа6963 Моего, Я отменю5162 то добро,2896 которым хотел559 облагодетельствовать3190 его.

11 Итак скажи559 мужам376 Иуды3063 и жителям3427 Иерусалима:3389 так говорит559 Господь:3068 вот, Я готовлю3335 вам зло7451 и замышляю28034284 против вас; итак обратитесь7725 каждый376 от злого7451 пути1870 своего и исправьте3190 пути1870 ваши и поступки4611 ваши.

12 Но они говорят:559 «не надейся;2976 мы будем3212 жить3212 по310 своим помыслам4284 и будем6213 поступать6213 каждый376 по упорству8307 злого7451 своего сердца».3820

13 Посему так говорит559 Господь:3068 спросите7592 между народами,1471 слыхал8085 ли кто подобное сему? крайне3966 гнусные8186 дела8186 совершила6213 дева1330 Израилева.3478

14 Оставляет5800 ли снег7950 Ливанский3844 скалу6697 горы?7704 и иссякают5428 ли из других2114 мест2114 текущие5140 холодные7119 воды?4325

15 А народ5971 Мой оставил7911 Меня; они кадят6999 суетным,7723 споткнулись3782 на путях1870 своих, оставили пути76357635 древние,5769 чтобы ходить3212 по стезям5410 пути1870 непроложенного,5549

16 чтобы сделать7760 землю776 свою ужасом,8047 всегдашним5769 посмеянием,82928292 так что каждый, проходящий5674 по ней, изумится8074 и покачает5110 головою7218 своею.

17 Как восточным6921 ветром7307 развею6327 их пред3942 лицем3942 врага;341 спиною,6203 а не лицем6440 обращусь7200 к ним в день3117 бедствия343 их.

18 А они сказали:559 «придите,3212 составим2803 замысел4284 против Иеремии;3414 ибо не исчез6 же закон8451 у священника3548 и совет6098 у мудрого,2450 и слово1697 у пророка;5030 придите,3212 сразим5221 его языком3956 и не будем7181 внимать7181 словам1697 его».

19 Внемли7181 мне, Господи,3068 и услышь8085 голос6963 моих противников.3401

20 Должно ли воздавать7999 злом7451 за добро?2896 а они роют3738 яму7745 душе5315 моей. Вспомни,2142 что я стою5975 пред3942 лицем3942 Твоим, чтобы говорить1696 за них доброе,2896 чтобы отвратить7725 от них гнев2534 Твой.

21 Итак предай5414 сыновей1121 их голоду7458 и подвергни5064 их мечу;30272719 да будут жены802 их бездетными7909 и вдовами,490 и мужья582 их да будут2026 поражены2026 смертью,4194 и юноши970 их умерщвлены5221 мечом2719 на войне.4421

22 Да будет8085 слышен8085 вопль2201 из домов1004 их, когда приведешь935 на них полки1416 внезапно;6597 ибо они роют3738 яму,77457882 чтобы поймать3920 меня, и тайно2934 расставили2934 сети6341 для ног7272 моих.

23 Но Ты, Господи,3068 знаешь3045 все замыслы6098 их против меня, чтобы умертвить4194 меня; не прости3722 неправды5771 их и греха2403 их не изгладь4229 пред3942 лицем3942 Твоим; да будут3782 они низвержены3782 пред3942 Тобою; поступи6213 с ними во время6256 гнева639 Твоего.

Chapter 18

1 THE word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying.

2 Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.

3 Then I went down to the potter's house, according to the word of the LORD, and, behold, he was doing work on the wheel.

4 And the vessel which he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he mixed the clay and made it into another vessel, as seemed good to him.

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? says the LORD, Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.

7 If suddenly I should speak concerning a people and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy it;

8 And if that nation repent from its evil, I will turn away from it the evil which I thought to do to it.

9 And if at another instant I should speak concerning a people and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

10 And if it does evil in my sight and does not obey my voice, then I will turn away from it the good which I said I would do to it.

11 Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am bringing evil against you and I am devising a device against you; repent you now, and return every one from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good.

12 But they said, We shall become strong and we will walk after our own devices and we will every man do the imagination of his evil heart.

13 Therefore thus says the LORD: Ask among the Gentiles, Who has done such things as these? The virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.

14 Does the green grass vanish from the mountain or the snow leave Lebanon? Does the cold water that gushes out and runs down cease from flowing?

15 Yet my people have forsaken me and have burned incense to vanity and have stumbled in their ways, and have departed from the ancient paths to walk in a way which was not trodden.

16 They have made their land desolate and a perpetual hissing; every one who passes through it shall be astonished and shake his head.

17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them my back and not my face, in the day of their calamity.

18 Then they said, Come and let us devise plots against Jeremiah; so that the law shall not perish from the priests nor counsel from the wise nor the word from the prophets. Come and let us smite him in his tongue, and let us not listen to any of his words.

19 Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the cry of my oppression.

20 Evil has been recompensed for good, for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee and spoke good for them to turn away thy wrath from them.

21 Therefore give their children to famine and deliver them to the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and become widows; and let their men be put to death and their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

22 Let wailing be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a band of raiders suddenly upon them; for they have digged a pit to take me and hid snares for my feet.

23 Yet, O LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me; forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sins from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.

1 THE word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying.

2 встань6965 и сойди3381 в дом1004 горшечника,3335 и там Я возвещу8085 тебе слова1697 Мои.

2 Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.

3 И сошел3381 я в дом1004 горшечника,3335 и вот,2009 он работал6213 свою работу4399 на кружале.70

3 Then I went down to the potter's house, according to the word of the LORD, and, behold, he was doing work on the wheel.

4 И сосуд,3627 который горшечник3335 делал6213 из глины,2563 развалился7843 в руке3027 его; и он снова7725 сделал6213 из него другой312 сосуд,3627 какой горшечнику3335 вздумалось58693474 сделать.6213

4 And the vessel which he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he mixed the clay and made it into another vessel, as seemed good to him.

5 И было слово1697 Господне3068 ко мне:

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

6 не могу3201 ли Я поступить6213 с вами, дом1004 Израилев,3478 подобно горшечнику3335 сему? говорит5002 Господь.3068 Вот, что глина2563 в руке3027 горшечника,3335 то вы в Моей руке,3027 дом1004 Израилев.3478

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? says the LORD, Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.

7 Иногда7281 Я скажу1696 о каком-либо народе1471 и царстве,4467 что искореню,5428 сокрушу5422 и погублю6 его;

7 If suddenly I should speak concerning a people and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy it;

8 но если народ1471 этот, на который Я это изрек,1696 обратится7725 от своих злых7451 дел,7451 Я отлагаю5162 то зло,7451 которое помыслил2803 сделать6213 ему.

8 And if that nation repent from its evil, I will turn away from it the evil which I thought to do to it.

10 And if it does evil in my sight and does not obey my voice, then I will turn away from it the good which I said I would do to it.

11 Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I am bringing evil against you and I am devising a device against you; repent you now, and return every one from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good.

15 Yet my people have forsaken me and have burned incense to vanity and have stumbled in their ways, and have departed from the ancient paths to walk in a way which was not trodden.

16 чтобы сделать7760 землю776 свою ужасом,8047 всегдашним5769 посмеянием,82928292 так что каждый, проходящий5674 по ней, изумится8074 и покачает5110 головою7218 своею.

16 They have made their land desolate and a perpetual hissing; every one who passes through it shall be astonished and shake his head.

17 Как восточным6921 ветром7307 развею6327 их пред3942 лицем3942 врага;341 спиною,6203 а не лицем6440 обращусь7200 к ним в день3117 бедствия343 их.

17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them my back and not my face, in the day of their calamity.

18 А они сказали:559 «придите,3212 составим2803 замысел4284 против Иеремии;3414 ибо не исчез6 же закон8451 у священника3548 и совет6098 у мудрого,2450 и слово1697 у пророка;5030 придите,3212 сразим5221 его языком3956 и не будем7181 внимать7181 словам1697 его».

18 Then they said, Come and let us devise plots against Jeremiah; so that the law shall not perish from the priests nor counsel from the wise nor the word from the prophets. Come and let us smite him in his tongue, and let us not listen to any of his words.

19 Внемли7181 мне, Господи,3068 и услышь8085 голос6963 моих противников.3401

19 Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the cry of my oppression.

20 Должно ли воздавать7999 злом7451 за добро?2896 а они роют3738 яму7745 душе5315 моей. Вспомни,2142 что я стою5975 пред3942 лицем3942 Твоим, чтобы говорить1696 за них доброе,2896 чтобы отвратить7725 от них гнев2534 Твой.

20 Evil has been recompensed for good, for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee and spoke good for them to turn away thy wrath from them.

21 Итак предай5414 сыновей1121 их голоду7458 и подвергни5064 их мечу;30272719 да будут жены802 их бездетными7909 и вдовами,490 и мужья582 их да будут2026 поражены2026 смертью,4194 и юноши970 их умерщвлены5221 мечом2719 на войне.4421

21 Therefore give their children to famine and deliver them to the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and become widows; and let their men be put to death and their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

22 Да будет8085 слышен8085 вопль2201 из домов1004 их, когда приведешь935 на них полки1416 внезапно;6597 ибо они роют3738 яму,77457882 чтобы поймать3920 меня, и тайно2934 расставили2934 сети6341 для ног7272 моих.
