Глава 2

1 И снова я поднял глаза, и увидел человека, державшего землемерный шнур.

2 Я спросил его: «Куда ты идёшь?» «Я иду измерить Иерусалим, чтобы узнать, какой он длины и ширины», — ответил он мне.

3 Тогда Ангел, который разговаривал со мной, ушёл, а другой Ангел подошёл и заговорил с ним:

4 «Беги и скажи этому юноше: „Иерусалим будет городом без стен, потому что там будет жить слишком много народа и скота”.

5 Господь говорит: „Я окружу его огненной стеной и защищу его. И чтобы славу в город принести, Я буду в нём жить”».

6 Господь говорит: «Спешите! Бегите из северной земли! Да, верно, что Я разбросал ваш народ по всему миру.

7 Ты, народ Сиона, живущий в Вавилоне, спасайся! Беги прочь из этого города!»

8 Господь послал меня к народам, которые ограбили тебя. Он послал Меня принести тебе честь. Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Каждый, кто причинит тебе боль, будет словно человек, причинивший боль Самому Богу».

9 Бог говорит: «Я накажу их у тебя на глазах. Их собственные рабы станут их хозяевами и завладеют всем, чем обладают они». И тогда Вы узнаете, что Господь Всемогущий послал Меня, чтобы вам рассказать об этом.

10 Господь говорит: «Будь счастлив, Сион! Я приду и буду жить в твоём городе.

11 В это время многие народы придут ко Мне и станут Моим народом, и Я буду жить в вашем городе». И тогда вы узнаете, что Господь Всемогущий послал Меня.

12 Господь снова изберёт Иерусалим Своим особым городом, и Иудея получит свою долю этой святой земли.

13 Умолкните все! Господь выходит из Своего святого жилища.

Chapter 2

1 I LIFTED up my eyes again and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

2 And I said to him, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length.

3 And behold, the angel who was talking with me went forth, and another angel came to meet him.

4 And he said to him, Run, speak to that young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle in it.

5 For I will be in the midst of her, says the LORD, as a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

6 Ah! Ah! Flee from the land of the north, says the LORD; for I have scattered you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, says the LORD.

7 Deliver yourself, O Zion; deliver yourself, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.

8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: After the glory he has sent me against the nations who plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

9 For, behold, I will stretch out my hand against them, and their works shall become plunder; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you, says the LORD.

11 And many nations shall follow the LORD in that day, and shall be his people; and he shall dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in his holy land, and shall be pleased with Jerusalem again.

13 And all flesh shall be afraid of the LORD; for he is watchful from his high and holy habitation.

6 Господь говорит: «Спешите! Бегите из северной земли! Да, верно, что Я разбросал ваш народ по всему миру.

6 Ah! Ah! Flee from the land of the north, says the LORD; for I have scattered you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, says the LORD.

7 Ты, народ Сиона, живущий в Вавилоне, спасайся! Беги прочь из этого города!»

7 Deliver yourself, O Zion; deliver yourself, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.

8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: After the glory he has sent me against the nations who plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.

9 Бог говорит: «Я накажу их у тебя на глазах. Их собственные рабы станут их хозяевами и завладеют всем, чем обладают они». И тогда Вы узнаете, что Господь Всемогущий послал Меня, чтобы вам рассказать об этом.

9 For, behold, I will stretch out my hand against them, and their works shall become plunder; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me.

10 Господь говорит: «Будь счастлив, Сион! Я приду и буду жить в твоём городе.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you, says the LORD.

11 В это время многие народы придут ко Мне и станут Моим народом, и Я буду жить в вашем городе». И тогда вы узнаете, что Господь Всемогущий послал Меня.

11 And many nations shall follow the LORD in that day, and shall be his people; and he shall dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.

12 Господь снова изберёт Иерусалим Своим особым городом, и Иудея получит свою долю этой святой земли.

13 Умолкните все! Господь выходит из Своего святого жилища.
