Chapter 19

1 AND the second lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

2 And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, Sheba, Moladah,

3 Darath-taley, Balah, and Azem,

4 Eltolad, Beth-el, Hirmah,

5 Zinklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,

6 Beth-lebaoth, and Sharwenan; fourteen cities and their villages;

7 Ain, Remmon, Gather, and Ashan; four cities and their villages;

8 And all the villages that were round about these cities as far as Labath, Beth-ramtha of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; because the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them; therefore the children of Simeon inherited some of their inheritance.

10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families; and the border of their inheritance extended as far as Ashdod;

11 And their border went up westward, and to Ramath-taley, and reached to Debbashet, then reached to the river that is before Nekemaam;

12 Then turned from Ashdod eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth and Bethor, and then extended to Rabbath, and went up to Naphia,

13 And from thence passed along eastward to Gath, to Hepher, to Attah, and to Kazin, and then went out to Remmon, and Mathwa, and Awa;

14 And the border turned around the north side of Haditon; and the limits thereof ended at the Valley of Chiphtanael;

15 And Kattath, Jahallal, Shamrin, Aralah and Beth-lehem; twelve cities with their villages.

16 This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families.

17 And the fourth lot came out to the children of Issachar, according to their families.

18 And their border included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

19 Haphraim, Shinan, Ahtar,

20 Deblath, Kishon, Apaz,

21 Ramath-en, Einjan, En-hadah, and Beth-pizian;

22 And the border reached to Tabor, Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the limits of their border were at the Jordan; thirteen cities with their villages.

23 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

24 And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

25 And their border was Haklath, Hali, Batan, Achshaph,

26 Amlekh, Amcar and Amshael; and reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor, and to Labeth;

27 And then it turned toward the sunrise to Beth-dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Niphtahael toward the north side, and to Beth-aomka, and Nell, and it went out northward to Cobel,

28 And Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kaah, as far as great Zidon;

29 And then the border turned to Ramtha, as far as the strong city of Tyre: the border then turned to Has; and the limits thereof reached to the west of the valley of Achzib;

30 Umkah also Aphik, and Rehob; twenty-two cities with their villages.

31 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

32 And the sixth lot went to the children of Naphtali, according to their families.

33 And their border was from Halpa, from Allon, and from Zinaam, Adama, Nekeb, and Nakbael, to Lakum; and the limits thereof were at the Jordan;

34 And then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-boz, and went out from there to Hakik, and reached to Zebulun on the south side, and reached to Asher on the west side, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

35 And the great cities were Tyre, Zidon, Hammath, Karath, Chinnereth,

36 Adamah, Damah, Hazor,

37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-zur,

38 Dion, Migdal-el, Hadon, Beth-anoth, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

40 And the seventh lot went to the tribe of Dan according to their families.

41 And the border of their inheritance was Zidah, Eshtaol, Kerith-shemish,

42 Shaalabbin, Ajalon, Nethlah,

43 Elon, Timmnah, Ekron,

44 Elkath, Gibbethon, Baalath,

45 Jehudith, Beldabak, Gath-rimmon,

46 Mehrikon, and Carkon, as far as the territory which is opposite Elath.

47 And the territory of the children of Dan was not sufficient for them; therefore the Danites went up and fought against Eino, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt in it, and called Eino, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

49 When they had finished dividing the land as their inheritance and delineating its boundaries, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them;

50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, Timnath-serah on mount Ephraim; and he built the city and dwelt in it.

51 These are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they completed the division of the land.

1 А другий жеребо́к вийшов Симеонові, племені Симеонових синів за їхніми ро́дами. І був їхній спа́док серед спа́дку Юдиних синів.

2 І був їм у спа́дку: Беер-Шева, і Молада,

3 і Хацар-Шуал, і Бала, і Ецем,

4 і Елтолад, і Бетул, і Хорма,

5 і Ціклаґ, і Бет-Гаммаркавот, і Хацар-Суса,

6 і Бет-Леваот, і Шарухен, — тринадцять міст та їхні оселі.

7 Аїн, Ріммон, і Етер, і Ашан, — чотири місті та їхні оселі.

8 А всі оселі, що навколо тих міст аж до Баалат-Беер-Рамат-Неґеву, це спа́док племени Симеонових синів за їхніми ро́дами.

9 З наділу Юдиних синів — спадок синів Симеонових, бо наділ Юдиних синів був численні́ший від них. І посіли Симеонові сини в сере́дині їхнього спа́дку.

10 А третій жеребо́к вийшов Завуло́новим синам за їхніми ро́дами, і була́ границя їхнього спа́дку аж до Саріду.

11 І підіймається їхня границя до Яму та Мар'али, і стикається з Даббешетом, і стикається з потоком, що навпроти Йокнеаму,

12 і вертається з Саріду на схід, до сходу сонця, на границю Кіслот-Фавору, і виходить до Доврату, і підіймається до Яфія.

13 А звідти переходить на схід, на схід до Ґат-Хеферу, Ет-Каціну, до Ріммон-Гамметоару, до Неї.

14 І поверта́ється його границя з пі́вночі Ханнатону, і закі́нчується при Ґе-Їфтах-Елі.

15 І Каттат, і Нагалал, і Шімрон, і Їд'ала, і Віфлеєм, дванадцять міст та їхні оселі.

16 Це спа́док Завуло́нових синів за їхніми ро́дами, оці міста́ та їхні оселі.

17 Четвертий жеребо́к вийшов Іссаха́рові, — Іссаха́ровим синам за їхніми ро́дами.

18 І була́ їхня границя: їзреел, і Кесуллот, і Шунем,

19 і Хафараїм, і Шіон, і Анахарат,

20 і Раббіт, і Кішйон, і Евес,

21 і Ремет, і Ен-Ґаннім, і Ен-Хадда, і Бет-Паццец.

22 І дотикається та границя до Фаво́ру, і Шахаціми, і Бет-Шемету, і їхня границя закінчується при Йорда́ні, — шістнадцять міст та їхні оселі.

23 Оце спа́док пле́мени Іссаха́рових синів за їхніми ро́дами, — міста́ та їхні оселі.

24 А п'ятий жеребо́к вийшов племені Асирових синів за їхніми ро́дами.

25 І була́ їхня границя: Хелкат, і Халі, і Бетен, і Ахшат,

26 і Алламмелех, і Ам'ад, і Міш'ал, і дотикається Карме́лю на за́хід та Шіхор-Лівнату,

27 і вертається на схід сонця до Бет-Даґону, і дотикається Завуло́на та Ґе-Їфтах-Елу, на пі́вніч Бет-Гаемеку та Ніелу, і виходить до Кавулу зліва.

28 І Еврон, і Рехов, і Хаммон, і Кана аж до Сидону Великого.

29 І вертається та границя до Рами́ та аж до міста Мівцар-Цору, і вертається границя до Хоси, і закінчується при за́ході від околиці Ахзіву,

30 і Умма, і Афек, і Рехов, — двадцять і двоє міст та їхні оселі.

31 Оце са́ддок пле́мени Аси́рових синів за їхніми ро́дами, ті міста та їхні оселі.

32 Синам Нефталимовим вийшов шостий жеребо́к, — для синів Нефталимових за їхніми ро́дами.

33 І була їхня границя: від Хелефу, від Елону при Цаананнімі, і Адамі — Ганнекев, і Явнеїл аж до Лаккуму, і кінча́лася вона при Йорда́ні.

34 І повертається та границя на за́хід до Ашнот-Фавору, і виходить звідти до Хуккоку та дотикається Завуло́на з полу́дня, а Асира дотикається з за́ходу, а Юди при Йорда́ні на схід сонця.

35 А міста тверди́нні: Ціддім, Цер, і Хаммат, Раккат і Кіннерет,

36 і Адама, і Рама, і Хацор,

37 і Кедеш, і Едреї, і Ен-Хасор,

38 і Їр'он, і Міґдал-Ел, Хорем, і Бет-Анат, і Бет-Шамеш, — дев'ятнадцять міст та їхні оселі.

39 Оце спа́док племени синів Нефтали́мових за їхніми ро́дами, міста́ та їхні оселі.

40 А пле́мені Да́нових синів за їхніми ро́дами вийшов сьомий жеребок.

41 І була границя їхнього насліддя: Цор'а, і Ештаол, і Ір-Шемеш,

42 і Шаалаббін, і Айялон, і Їтла,

43 і Елон, і Тімната, і Екрон,

44 і Елтеке, і Ґіббетон, і Баалат,

45 і Єгуд, і Бене-Берак, і Ґат-Ріммон,

46 і Ме-Яркон, і Раккон із границею навпроти Яфи.

47 І вийшла границя Данових синів від них. А Да́нові сини пішли й воювали з Лешемом, і здобули його, і побили ві́стрям меча, і посіли його, та й осілися в ньому. І вони назвали Лешему ім'я́: Дан, як ім'я́ їхнього батька Дана.

48 Оце спа́док племени Да́нових синів за їхніми ро́дами, ті міста́ та їхні оселі.

49 І скінчи́ли вони посідати край згідно з його границями. І дали Ізраїлеві сини спа́док Ісусові, синові Навиновому, посеред себе.

50 На Господній нака́з дали йому те місто, яке він жадав: Тімнат-Серах на Єфремовій горі. І збудував він місто, та й осівся в ньому.

51 Оце той спа́док, що священик Елеазар і Ісус, син Навинів, та голови домів батьків давали племе́нам Ізраїлевих синів жеребком у Шіло́ перед Господнім лицем при вході до скинії заповіту. І покінчи́ли вони ділити край.

І був їхній спа́док серед спа́дку Юдиних синів.

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.	8 А всі оселі, що навколо тих міст аж до Баалат-Беер-Рамат-Неґеву, це спа́док племени Симеонових синів за їхніми ро́дами.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; because the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them; therefore the children of Simeon inherited some of their inheritance.	9 З наділу Юдиних синів — спадок синів Симеонових, бо наділ Юдиних синів був численні́ший від них. І посіли Симеонові сини в сере́дині їхнього спа́дку.
10 And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families; and the border of their inheritance extended as far as Ashdod;	10 А третій жеребо́к вийшов Завуло́новим синам за їхніми ро́дами, і була́ границя їхнього спа́дку аж до Саріду.
11 And their border went up westward, and to Ramath-taley, and reached to Debbashet, then reached to the river that is before Nekemaam;	11 І підіймається їхня границя до Яму та Мар'али, і стикається з Даббешетом, і стикається з потоком, що навпроти Йокнеаму,
12 Then turned from Ashdod eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth and Bethor, and then extended to Rabbath, and went up to Naphia,	12 і вертається з Саріду на схід, до сходу сонця, на границю Кіслот-Фавору, і виходить до Доврату, і підіймається до Яфія.

32 And the sixth lot went to the children of Naphtali, according to their families.	32 Синам Нефталимовим вийшов шостий жеребо́к, — для синів Нефталимових за їхніми ро́дами.
33 And their border was from Halpa, from Allon, and from Zinaam, Adama, Nekeb, and Nakbael, to Lakum; and the limits thereof were at the Jordan;	33 І була їхня границя: від Хелефу, від Елону при Цаананнімі, і Адамі — Ганнекев, і Явнеїл аж до Лаккуму, і кінча́лася вона при Йорда́ні.
34 And then the boundary turned westward to Aznoth-boz, and went out from there to Hakik, and reached to Zebulun on the south side, and reached to Asher on the west side, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.	34 І повертається та границя на за́хід до Ашнот-Фавору, і виходить звідти до Хуккоку та дотикається Завуло́на з полу́дня, а Асира дотикається з за́ходу, а Юди при Йорда́ні на схід сонця.
35 And the great cities were Tyre, Zidon, Hammath, Karath, Chinnereth,	35 А міста тверди́нні: Ціддім, Цер, і Хаммат, Раккат і Кіннерет,
36 Adamah, Damah, Hazor,	36 і Адама, і Рама, і Хацор,
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-zur,	37 і Кедеш, і Едреї, і Ен-Хасор,

40 And the seventh lot went to the tribe of Dan according to their families.	40 А пле́мені Да́нових синів за їхніми ро́дами вийшов сьомий жеребок.
41 And the border of their inheritance was Zidah, Eshtaol, Kerith-shemish,	41 І була границя їхнього насліддя: Цор'а, і Ештаол, і Ір-Шемеш,
42 Shaalabbin, Ajalon, Nethlah,	42 і Шаалаббін, і Айялон, і Їтла,

А Да́нові сини пішли й воювали з Лешемом, і здобули його, і побили ві́стрям меча, і посіли його, та й осілися в ньому. І вони назвали Лешему ім'я́: Дан, як ім'я́ їхнього батька Дана.
48 This is the inheritance of the tribe of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.	48 Оце спа́док племени Да́нових синів за їхніми ро́дами, ті міста́ та їхні оселі.
49 When they had finished dividing the land as their inheritance and delineating its boundaries, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them;	49 І скінчи́ли вони посідати край згідно з його границями. І дали Ізраїлеві сини спа́док Ісусові, синові Навиновому, посеред себе.
50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, Timnath-serah on mount Ephraim; and he built the city and dwelt in it.	50 На Господній нака́з дали йому те місто, яке він жадав: Тімнат-Серах на Єфремовій горі. І збудував він місто, та й осівся в ньому.
51 These are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they completed the division of the land.	51 Оце той спа́док, що священик Елеазар і Ісус, син Навинів, та голови домів батьків давали племе́нам Ізраїлевих синів жеребком у Шіло́ перед Господнім лицем при вході до скинії заповіту. І покінчи́ли вони ділити край.
