Chapter 8

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and take the vestments and the anointing oil and a bullock for the sin offering and two rams and a basket of unleavened bread,

3 And gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

5 And Moses said to the congregation, This is the commandment which the LORD has commanded to be done.

6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water;

7 And put upon him the coat and girded him with the girdle and clothed him with the robe and bound the loin cloth on his loins and put the ephod upon him and girded him with the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

8 And he put the breastplate upon him; and he put on the breastplate the Urim and the Thummin.

9 And he put the mitre upon his head; and upon the mitre upon his forefront, he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

10 Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it and sanctified them.

11 And he sprinkled of it upon the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its vessels and the laver and its base and sanctified them.

12 And he poured some of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head and anointed him and sanctified him.

13 And Moses brought Aaron's sons and put linen vestments upon them and girded them with girdles and put mitres upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses.

14 And he brought the bullock for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

15 And he killed it; and Moses took some of the blood with his finger and sprinkled it upon the horns of the altar round about and purified the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured at the base of the altar and sanctified it to make atonement for it.

16 And he took all the fat that was upon the entrails, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar.

17 But the bullock and its hide and its meat and its dung he burned with fire outside the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.

18 And he brought the ram for the burnt offering; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

19 And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat.

21 And he washed the entrails and the legs in water; and Moses burned the whole ram upon the altar; it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, an offering to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

23 And Moses killed it; and he took some of the blood of it, and sprinkled it on the tip of Aaron's right ear and upon the thumb of his right hand and upon the great toe of his right foot.

24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses sprinkled some of the blood on the tips of their right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

25 And he took the fat and the rump and all the fat that was upon the entrails and the caul above the liver and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder;

26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake and a cake of bread with oil and one wafer, and put them on the fat and upon the right shoulder;

27 And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.

28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned them on the altar as a burnt offering; they were consecration offerings for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

29 And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD; for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' portion; as the LORD commanded Moses.

30 And Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron and upon his garments and upon his sons and upon his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron and his garments and his sons and his sons' garments with him.

31 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Cook the meat at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

32 And that which remains of the meat and of the bread you shall burn with fire.

33 And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation for seven days, until the days of your consecration are at an end; for your consecration will be completed in seven days.

34 Just as I have done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do to make an atonement for you.

35 Therefore you shall remain at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD'S observance, that you die not; for so I am commanded.

36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

3 и собери народ у входа в шатёр собрания».

4 Моисей сделал всё так, как повелел Господь. И все они встретились у входа в шатёр собрания.

5 Затем Моисей сказал людям: «Вот что повелел Господь».

6 После этого Моисей вывел Аарона и его сыновей вперёд и омыл их водой.

7 Затем Моисей надел на Аарона хитон, подпоясал его перевязью и надел на него верхнюю ризу. Он возложил на Аарона ефод, опоясал его красивым поясом и закрепил на нём ефод.

8 Затем Моисей надел на Аарона наперсник, а в карман наперсника положил урим и туммим.

9 Моисей также возложил на голову Аарону кидар с золотой дощечкой спереди, венцом святыни, как повелел ему Господь.

10 Затем Моисей взял елей помазания и окропил священный шатёр и всё, что в нём было. Так Моисей освятил их.

11 Моисей семь раз окропил елеем алтарь и все его принадлежности. Он также окропил умывальник и его подножие, чтобы освятить их.

12 Затем Моисей вылил немного елея помазания на голову Аарону, чтобы освятить его.

13 Потом Моисей привёл сыновей Аарона, надел на них хитоны и опоясал поясами. Он дал им особые головные уборы, как повелел ему Господь.

14 Моисей привёл бычка для жертвы за грех, а Аарон и его сыновья положили руки на голову жертвуемого животного.

15 Затем Моисей заколол бычка, собрал его кровь и, обмакнув в неё палец, помазал кровью рога алтаря, чтобы освятить его и приготовить к жертвоприношению. Остальную кровь Моисей вылил к подножию. Так он освятил алтарь для приношения, чтобы очистить людей от греха.

17 А шкуру и мясо с отходами Моисей вынес за пределы стана и там сжёг всё это на огне. Он сделал всё так, как повелел ему Господь.

18 Затем Моисей привёл барана для всесожжения, и Аарон с сыновьями возложили руки на голову животного.

19 Когда баран был заколот, Моисей окропил его кровью вокруг алтаря.

20 Разрезав барана на куски, Моисей вымыл его внутренности и ноги водой, а потом сжёг всего барана, включая голову, куски мяса и жир на алтаре, согласно Божьим наставлениям. Это — жертва всесожжения, её благоухание приятно Господу.

22 Затем Моисей привёл другого барана для посвящения Аарона и его сыновей в священники. Аарон и его сыновья возложили руки на голову барана.

23 Моисей заколол барана, взял немного его крови и помазал мочку правого уха Аарона, большой палец его правой руки и большой палец его правой ноги.

24 Моисей подвёл сыновей Аарона близко к жертвеннику, помазал кровью им мочки правых ушей, большие пальцы рук и большие пальцы ног, а затем покропил кровью вокруг жертвенника.

25 Моисей взял жир, жирную часть хвоста, весь жир, покрывающий внутренности, жир с печени, обе почки вместе с жиром и правую ногу.

26 Из корзины с пресными хлебами, которая ставится перед Господом каждый день, Моисей взял один из этих хлебов, один хлеб с оливковым маслом и одну небольшую тонкую лепёшку и положил всё это на жир и на правую ногу барана.

29 Моисей взял грудину и преподнёс её перед Господом — это была доля Моисея от принесения жертвы посвящения Аарона и его сыновей в священники, как и повелел Моисею Господь.

30 Моисей взял немного елея помазания и крови, которая была на жертвеннике, и окропил Аарона и его одежды, а также его сыновей, которые были с ним, и их одежды. Так Моисей освятил Аарона и его одежды, его сыновей и их одежды.

33 Церемония выбора священников будет продолжаться семь дней. И всё это время вы не должны отходить от входа в шатёр собрания, пока не истечёт срок.

34 Господь повелел делать всё так, как было сделано сегодня для вашего очищения.

35 Вы должны день и ночь в продолжение семи дней оставаться у входа в шатёр собрания. Если же вы не послушаетесь повелений Господа, то умрёте! Так повелел мне Господь Бог».

36 Аарон и его сыновья исполнили всё, что Господь повелел через Моисея.

4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 Моисей сделал всё так, как повелел Господь. И все они встретились у входа в шатёр собрания.

5 And Moses said to the congregation, This is the commandment which the LORD has commanded to be done.

5 Затем Моисей сказал людям: «Вот что повелел Господь».

6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water;

6 После этого Моисей вывел Аарона и его сыновей вперёд и омыл их водой.

7 And put upon him the coat and girded him with the girdle and clothed him with the robe and bound the loin cloth on his loins and put the ephod upon him and girded him with the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

10 Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it and sanctified them.

10 Затем Моисей взял елей помазания и окропил священный шатёр и всё, что в нём было. Так Моисей освятил их.

11 And he sprinkled of it upon the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its vessels and the laver and its base and sanctified them.

11 Моисей семь раз окропил елеем алтарь и все его принадлежности. Он также окропил умывальник и его подножие, чтобы освятить их.

12 And he poured some of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head and anointed him and sanctified him.

14 And he brought the bullock for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock for the sin offering.

15 And he killed it; and Moses took some of the blood with his finger and sprinkled it upon the horns of the altar round about and purified the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured at the base of the altar and sanctified it to make atonement for it.

19 And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

19 Когда баран был заколот, Моисей окропил его кровью вокруг алтаря.

20 And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat.

20 Разрезав барана на куски, Моисей вымыл его внутренности и ноги водой, а потом сжёг всего барана, включая голову, куски мяса и жир на алтаре, согласно Божьим наставлениям. Это — жертва всесожжения, её благоухание приятно Господу.

21 And he washed the entrails and the legs in water; and Moses burned the whole ram upon the altar; it was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet savour, an offering to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And he brought the other ram, the ram of consecration; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

22 Затем Моисей привёл другого барана для посвящения Аарона и его сыновей в священники. Аарон и его сыновья возложили руки на голову барана.

23 And Moses killed it; and he took some of the blood of it, and sprinkled it on the tip of Aaron's right ear and upon the thumb of his right hand and upon the great toe of his right foot.

23 Моисей заколол барана, взял немного его крови и помазал мочку правого уха Аарона, большой палец его правой руки и большой палец его правой ноги.

24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses sprinkled some of the blood on the tips of their right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

24 Моисей подвёл сыновей Аарона близко к жертвеннику, помазал кровью им мочки правых ушей, большие пальцы рук и большие пальцы ног, а затем покропил кровью вокруг жертвенника.

25 And he took the fat and the rump and all the fat that was upon the entrails and the caul above the liver and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right shoulder;

25 Моисей взял жир, жирную часть хвоста, весь жир, покрывающий внутренности, жир с печени, обе почки вместе с жиром и правую ногу.

26 And out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake and a cake of bread with oil and one wafer, and put them on the fat and upon the right shoulder;

26 Из корзины с пресными хлебами, которая ставится перед Господом каждый день, Моисей взял один из этих хлебов, один хлеб с оливковым маслом и одну небольшую тонкую лепёшку и положил всё это на жир и на правую ногу барана.

27 And he put all upon Aaron's hands, and upon his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD.

28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burned them on the altar as a burnt offering; they were consecration offerings for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

29 And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD; for of the ram of consecration it was Moses' portion; as the LORD commanded Moses.

29 Моисей взял грудину и преподнёс её перед Господом — это была доля Моисея от принесения жертвы посвящения Аарона и его сыновей в священники, как и повелел Моисею Господь.

30 And Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron and upon his garments and upon his sons and upon his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron and his garments and his sons and his sons' garments with him.

30 Моисей взял немного елея помазания и крови, которая была на жертвеннике, и окропил Аарона и его одежды, а также его сыновей, которые были с ним, и их одежды. Так Моисей освятил Аарона и его одежды, его сыновей и их одежды.

31 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Cook the meat at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

31 Затем Моисей обратился к Аарону и его сыновьям: «Я сказал вам: „Аарон и его сыновья должны съесть это”. Возьмите корзину с хлебом и мясо от церемонии выбора священников, сварите мясо у входа в шатёр собрания и там ешьте его с хлебом. Сделайте всё так, как я вам сказал.

32 And that which remains of the meat and of the bread you shall burn with fire.

32 А остатки мяса и хлеба сожгите.

33 And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation for seven days, until the days of your consecration are at an end; for your consecration will be completed in seven days.

33 Церемония выбора священников будет продолжаться семь дней. И всё это время вы не должны отходить от входа в шатёр собрания, пока не истечёт срок.

34 Just as I have done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do to make an atonement for you.

34 Господь повелел делать всё так, как было сделано сегодня для вашего очищения.

35 Therefore you shall remain at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD'S observance, that you die not; for so I am commanded.

35 Вы должны день и ночь в продолжение семи дней оставаться у входа в шатёр собрания. Если же вы не послушаетесь повелений Господа, то умрёте! Так повелел мне Господь Бог».

36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

36 Аарон и его сыновья исполнили всё, что Господь повелел через Моисея.
