Psalm 149

1 PRAISE the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 Let them praise his name with the timbrel and psaltery; let them sing praises to him with the harps.

4 For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he has given salvation to the poor.

5 Let the righteous become mighty in glory; let them glorify him upon their beds.

6 Let them exalt God with their throats, and with a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the peoples,

8 To bind their kings with fetters and their nobles with chains of iron.

9 To execute upon them the judgment that is written; and give glory to all his saints. Praise the LORD.

1 Пойте Господу новую песнь; хвала Ему в собрании святых.

2 Да веселится Израиль о Создателе своем, сыны Сиона да радуются о Царе своем.

3 Да хвалят имя Его с ликованием, на тимпане и гуслях да бряцают Ему.

4 Ибо благоволит Господь о народе Своем, украшает смиренных, спасая их.

5 Да торжествуют святые во славе, и да радуются на ложах своих.

6 Славословия Богу в устах их, и меч обоюдоострый в руке их:

7 Дабы совершить мщение над народами, наказание над племенами;

8 Дабы заключить царей их в узы, и вельмож их в оковы железные,

9 И произвести над ними написанный суд. Сия честь принадлежит всем святым Его. Аллилуйя!
