Kapitel 11

1 Tue deine Tür1817 auf6605, Libanon3844, daß das Feuer784 deine Zedern730 verzehre398!

2 Heulet3213, ihr Tannen1265; denn die Zedern730 sind7703 gefallen3381, und das herrliche Gebäu ist5307 verstöret. Heulet3213, ihr Eichen437 Basans1316; denn der feste1208 Wald3293 ist umgehauen.

3 Man6963 höret die Hirten7462 heulen3215, denn ihr6963 herrlich Gebäu ist verstöret; man höret die jungen Löwen3715 brüllen7581, denn die Pracht1347 des Jordans3383 ist verstöret.

4 So spricht559 der HErr3068, mein GOtt430: Hüte7462 der Schlachtschafe6629!

5 Denn ihre Herren schlachten sie2026 und halten‘s7069 für keine Sünde816, verkaufen sie559 und sprechen: Gelobet sei1288 der HErr3068, ich bin nun reich6238; und ihre Hirten7462 schonen2550 ihrer nicht4376.

6 Darum will ich auch nicht mehr schonen2550 der Einwohner3427 im Lande, spricht5002 der HErr3068. Und siehe, ich will die Leute120 lassen einen jeglichen376 in der Hand3027 des andern7453 und in der Hand3027 seines Königs4428, daß sie4672 das776 Land776 zerschlagen3807, und will sie nicht erretten5337 von ihrer Hand3027.

7 Und6629 ich hütete7462 der259 Schlachtschafe um der elenden6041 Schafe6629 willen und nahm3947 zu mir8147 zween Stäbe4731: einen259 hieß7121 ich Sanft, den andern hieß7121 ich Weh; und hütete7462 der Schafe6629.

8 Und ich vertilgete drei7969 Hirten7462 in einem259 Monden3391; denn ich mochte ihrer5315 nicht, so wollten sie5315 mein auch nicht.

9 Und ich sprach559: Ich will euer nicht hüten7462. Was da stirbt4191, das sterbe4191; was verschmachtet3582, das verschmachte; und die802 Übrigen fresse398 ein jegliches des andern7604 Fleisch1320!

10 Und ich nahm3947 meinen Stab4731 Sanft und zerbrach1438 ihn, daß ich aufhübe meinen Bund1285, den ich mit allen Völkern5971 gemacht3772 hatte.

11 Und er ward aufgehoben6565 des Tages3117. Und die elenden6041 Schafe6629, die auf mich8104 hielten, merkten3045 dabei, daß es des HErrn3068 Wort1697 wäre.

12 Und ich sprach559 zu ihnen5869: Gefällt2896 es euch, so bringet her3051, wieviel ich gelte7939; wo nicht, so laßt es anstehen2308. Und sie wogen8254 dar, wieviel ich galt: dreißig7970 Silberlinge3701.

13 Und der Herr3068 sprach559 zu mir: Wirf‘s7993 hin, daß es dem Töpfer3335 gegeben werde! Ei, eine treffliche145 Summa, der ich wert geachtet bin3365 von ihnen! Und ich nahm3947 die dreißig7970 Silberlinge3701 und warf7993 sie ins Haus1004 des HErrn3068, daß dem Töpfer3335 gegeben würde.

14 Und ich zerbrach1438 meinen andern8145 Stab4731 Weh, daß ich aufhübe die Brüderschaft zwischen Juda3063 und Israel3478.

15 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu mir: Nimm3947 abermal zu dir Geräte3627 eines törichten196 Hirten7462.

16 Denn siehe, ich werde Hirten7462 im Lande aufwecken, die das776 Verschmachtete3582 nicht besuchen und5324 das Zerschlagene5289 nicht suchen und das Zerbrochene7665 nicht heilen7495 und das Gesunde nicht versorgen3557 werden6965; aber das Fleisch1320 der Fetten1277 werden6485 sie1245 fressen398 und ihre Klauen6541 zerreißen6561.

17 O Götzenhirten, die die Herde6629 lassen5800! Das Schwert2719 komme auf ihren Arm2220 und457 auf ihr rechtes Auge3225! Ihr Arm2220 müsse verdorren3001 und5869 ihr rechtes Auge5869 dunkel3543 werden3001!

Chapter 11

1 OPEN your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.

2 Wail, O fir tree; for the cedar has fallen and the mighty are plundered! Wail, O oaks of Bashan; for the mighty forest has fallen!

3 There is a voice of the howling of shepherds; for their glory is ruined; a voice of the roaring of the lions; because the forest of Jordan is spoiled.

4 Thus says the LORD my God: Feed the lean flock

5 Whose buyers slaughter them, and hold themselves not guilty; and those who sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for he has enriched us; and their own shepherds have no pity on them.

6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD: but, 1o, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor's hand and into the hand of his king; and they shall divide the land, and I will not deliver it from their hands.

7 So I fed the lean flock, for there were many sheep; and I took two staffs; the one I called Pleasant and the other I called Cord, and I fed the flock.

8 Three shepherds I did away with in one month; and my soul was wearied of them, and their soul also howled against me.

9 Then I said, I will not feed you; that which dies, let it die; and that which is to be lost, let it be lost; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.

10 And I took my staff, even Pleasant, and I broke it, thus nullifying the covenant which I had with all the peoples.

11 And it was nullified in that very day; and so the meek of the flock who were watching me knew that it was the word of the LORD.

12 And I said to them, If it seems good in your sight, give me my wages; and if not, then you are doing me injustice. So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

13 And the LORD said to me, Cast it into the treasury; a goodly price that I was prized at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them into the treasury in the house of the LORD.

14 Then I broke my other staff, even Measuring-line, that I might nullify the agreements between Judah and Israel.

15 And the LORD said to me, Take to yourself the clothes of a foolish shepherd.

16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who shall not search for those that are lost, neither shall seek those that have gone astray nor bind those that are broken nor heal those that are sick nor feed those that stand still; but he shall eat the flesh of the fat and break off their shanks.

17 Woe to you, O foolish shepherd, for you have left the flock neglected on your side and before your eyes! Let your right arm be withered and your right eye be blinded.
