1 And you, son1121 of man,120 take3947 you a sharp2299 knife,2719 take3947 you a barber's1532 razor,8593 and cause it to pass5674 on your head7218 and on your beard:2206 then take3947 you balances3976 to weigh,4948 and divide2505 the hair.

2 Das eine dritte7992 Teil sollst du mit Feuer1197 verbrennen mitten8432 in der Stadt5892, wenn die Tage3117 der Belagerung4692 um sind4390; das andere dritte7992 Teil nimm3947 und schlage5221 es mit dem Schwert2719 ringsumher; das letzte dritte7992 Teil streue2219 in den Wind7307, daß ich das Schwert2719 hinter310 ihnen her5439 ausziehe7324.

2 You shall burn1197 with fire217 a third7992 part in the middle8432 of the city,5892 when the days3117 of the siege4692 are fulfilled:4390 and you shall take3947 a third7992 part, and smite5221 about5439 it with a knife:2719 and a third7992 part you shall scatter2219 in the wind;7307 and I will draw7324 out a sword2719 after310 them.

4 Und8313 nimm3947 wiederum etliches davon und wirf‘s7993 in8432 ein Feuer784 und verbrenne es mit Feuer784; von3318 dem soll ein Feuer784 auskommen über das ganze Haus1004 Israel3478.

4 Then take3947 of them again,5750 and cast7993 them into413 the middle8432 of the fire,784 and burn8313 them in the fire;784 for thereof shall a fire784 come3318 forth3318 into413 all3605 the house1004 of Israel.3478

5 So spricht der HErr136 HErr3069: Das776 ist Jerusalem3389, die ich unter8432 die Heiden1471 gesetzt7760 habe, und rings um sie559 her5439 Länder.

5 Thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 This2063 is Jerusalem:3389 I have set7760 it in the middle8432 of the nations1471 and countries776 that are round5439 about her.

6 Sie4784 aber hat1980 mein Gesetz2708 verwandelt in gottlose7564 Lehre mehr denn die Heiden1471 und meine Rechte4941 mehr denn die Länder776, so rings um sie3988 her5439 liegen. Denn sie verwerfen mein Gesetz2708 und wollen nicht nach meinen Rechten4941 leben.

6 And she has changed4171 my judgments4941 into wickedness7564 more4481 than4480 the nations,1471 and my statutes2708 more4481 than4480 the countries776 that are round5439 about her: for they have refused3988 my judgments4941 and my statutes,2708 they have not walked1980 in them.

7 Darum spricht559 der HErr136 HErr3069 also: Weil ihr‘s mehr machet denn die Heiden1471, so um euch her5439 sind1980, und nach meinen Geboten nicht lebet und nach meinen Rechten4941 nicht tut6213, sondern nach der Heiden1471 Weise2708 tut6213, die um euch her5439 sind,

7 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Because3282 you multiplied1995 more4481 than4480 the nations1471 that are round5439 about you, and have not walked1980 in my statutes,2708 neither3808 have kept6213 my judgments,4941 neither3808 have done6213 according to the judgments4941 of the nations1471 that are round5439 about you;

8 so spricht559 der HErr136 HErr3069 also6213: Siehe, ich will auch an dich8432 und will Recht4941 über dich5869 gehen lassen, daß die Heiden1471 zusehen sollen.

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2005 I, even1571 I, am against5921 you, and will execute6213 judgments4941 in the middle8432 of you in the sight5869 of the nations.1471

9 Und will also6213 mit dir umgehen, als ich nie getan6213 und hinfort nicht tun6213 werde, um3282 aller deiner Greuel8441 willen,

9 And I will do6213 in you that which834 I have not done,6213 and whereunto834 I will not do6213 any more5750 the like,3644 because3282 of all3605 your abominations.8441

10 daß in8432 dir die Väter1 ihre Kinder1121 und6213 die Kinder1121 ihre Väter1 fressen398 sollen; und will solch Recht8201 über dich gehen lassen, daß alle deine Übrigen7611 sollen in alle Winde7307 zerstreuet werden398.

10 Therefore3651 the fathers1 shall eat398 the sons1121 in the middle8432 of you, and the sons1121 shall eat398 their fathers;1 and I will execute6213 judgments8201 in you, and the whole3605 remnant7611 of you will I scatter2219 into all3605 the winds.7307

11 Darum, so wahr als ich lebe2416, spricht5002 der HErr136 HErr3069, weil du mein Heiligtum4720 mit deinen allerlei Greueln8251 und Götzen8441 verunreiniget hast, will ich dich auch zerschlagen1639, und mein Auge5869 soll dein nicht2550 schonen2347 und will nicht gnädig sein2930.

11 Why,3651 as I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Surely,518 3808 because3282 you have defiled2930 my sanctuary4720 with all3605 your detestable8251 things, and with all3605 your abominations,8441 therefore will I also1571 diminish1639 you; neither1571 shall my eye5869 spare,2347 neither3808 will I have any pity.2550

12 Es soll das dritte7992 Teil von dir3615 an der Pestilenz1698 sterben4191 und durch Hunger7458 alle werden2219, und das andere dritte7992 Teil durchs Schwert2719 fallen5307 rings um dich her5439, und das letzte dritte7992 Teil will ich in8432 alle Winde7307 zerstreuen und das Schwert2719 hinter310 ihnen her ausziehen7324.

12 A third7992 part of you shall die4191 with the pestilence,1698 and with famine7458 shall they be consumed3615 in the middle8432 of you: and a third7992 part shall fall5307 by the sword2719 round5439 about you; and I will scatter2219 a third7992 part into all3605 the winds,7307 and I will draw7324 out a sword2719 after310 them.

13 Also soll mein Zorn639 vollendet3615 und mein Grimm2534 über ihnen ausgerichtet3615 werden5117, daß ich meinen Mut kühle5162; und sie sollen erfahren3045, daß ich, der HErr3068, in meinem Eifer7068 geredet habe1696, wenn ich meinen Grimm2534 an ihnen ausgerichtet habe.

13 Thus shall my anger639 be accomplished,3615 and I will cause my fury2534 to rest5117 on them, and I will be comforted:5162 and they shall know3045 that I the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it in my zeal,7068 when I have accomplished3615 my fury2534 in them.

14 Ich will dich zur Wüste und2723 zur Schmach2781 setzen5414 vor den Heiden1471, so um dich her5439 sind5674, vor den Augen5869 aller, die vorübergehen.

14 Moreover I will make5414 you waste,2723 and a reproach2781 among the nations1471 that are round5439 about you, in the sight5869 of all3605 that pass5674 by.

15 Und6213 sollst1696 eine Schmach2781, Hohn1422, Exempel und Wunder4923 sein8433 allen Heiden1471, die um dich her5439 sind, wenn2534 ich über dich das Recht8201 gehen lasse mit Zorn639, Grimm2534 und zornigem Schelten (das sage ich, der HErr3068),

15 So it shall be a reproach2781 and a taunt,1422 an instruction4148 and an astonishment8047 to the nations1471 that are round5439 about you, when I shall execute6213 judgments8201 in you in anger639 and in fury2534 and in furious2534 rebukes.8433 I the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.

16 und wenn ich böse7451 Pfeile2671 des7971 Hungers7458 unter sie7665 schießen werde, die da schädlich4889 sein sollen, und ich sie ausschießen werde, euch zu verderben7843, und den Hunger7458 über3254 euch immer größer werden lasse7971 und den Vorrat4294 des Brots3899 wegnehme.

16 When I shall send7971 on them the evil7451 arrows2671 of famine,7458 which834 shall be for their destruction,4889 and which834 I will send7971 to destroy7843 you: and I will increase3254 the famine7458 on you, and will break7665 your staff4294 of bread:3899

17 Ja, Hunger7458 und böse7451 wilde Tiere2416 will935 ich unter euch schicken7971, die sollen euch ohne Kinder machen7921; und soll Pestilenz1698 und Flut unter dir umgehen, und will das Schwert2719 über5674 dich bringen. Ich, der HErr3068, habe es gesagt1696.

17 So will I send7971 on you famine7458 and evil7451 beasts,2416 and they shall bereave7921 you: and pestilence1698 and blood1818 shall pass5674 through you; and I will bring935 the sword2719 on you. I the LORD3068 have spoken1696 it.
