1 І Господь промовляв до Мойсея, говорячи:

2 „Промовляй до Ізраїлевих синів, і скажеш їм: Я — Госпо́дь, Бог ваш!

3 За чином єгипетського кра́ю, що сиділи ви в нім, не робіть, і за чином Кра́ю ханаанського, що Я впроваджую вас туди, не зробите, і звичаями їхніми не пі́дете.

4 Ви вико́нуватимете уста́ви Мої, і будете додержувати постанови Мої, щоб ними ходити. Я — Господь, Бог ваш!

5 І будете додержувати постанов Моїх та уста́вів Моїх, що люди́на їх вико́нує й ними живе. Я — Госпо́дь!

6 Жоден чоловік не набли́зиться до жодної однокровної своєї, щоб відкрити наготу́. Я — Господь!

7 Наготи́ батька свого й наготи́ матері своєї не відкриєш, — вона мати твоя, не відкриєш наготи́ її!

8 Наготи́ жінки батька твого не відкриєш, вона нагота батька твого!

9 Наготи́ сестри своєї, дочки батька свого або дочки́ матері своєї, що народи́лися в домі або народилися назо́вні, — не відкриєш їхньої наготи!

10 Наготу́ дочки сина свого або дочки́ дочки своєї, — не відкриєш наготи́ їхньої, бо вони — нагота твоя!

11 Наготи́ дочки жінки батька свого, наро́дженої від батька твого, — вона сестра твоя, не відкриєш наготи її!

12 Наготи́ сестри батька свого не відкриєш, — вона однокровна ба́тька твого!

13 Наготи́ сестри матері своєї не відкриєш, бо вона однокровна матері твоєї.

14 Наготи брата ба́тька свого не відкриєш, до жінки його не набли́зишся, — вона тітка твоя!

15 Наготи́ невістки своєї не відкриєш, — вона жінка сина твого, не відкриєш наготи її!

16 Наготи жінки брата свого не відкриєш, — вона нагота брата твого!

17 Наготи жінки й дочки́ її не відкриєш; дочки сина її й дочки дочки її не ві́зьмеш, щоб відкрити її наготу, — вони однокровні її, це кровозмі́шання!

18 І жінки з сестрою її не візьмеш на супе́рництво, щоб відкрити наготу її при ній за життя її.

19 А до жінки в час відді́лення нечистости її не набли́зишся, щоб відкрити наготу її.

20 А з жінкою свого ближнього не будеш лежати на насіння, щоб нею не стати нечистим.

21 А з насіння свого не даси на жертву Молохові, — і не знева́жиш Імени Бога свого. Я — Господь!

22 А з чоловіком не будеш лежати як з жінкою, — гидота воно!

23 І з жодною худобиною не зляжешся, щоб не стати нею нечистим. І жінка не стане перед худо́биною на злягання, — це паску́дство!

24 Не занечи́щуйтеся тим усім, бо всім тим занечи́щені ті люди, яких Я виганяю перед вами.

25 І стала нечиста та земля, і Я полічив на ній її гріх, — і та земля ви́ригнула мешканців своїх!

26 І ви будете доде́ржувати постанов Моїх та уста́вів Моїх, і не зробите жодної зо всіх тих гидот, як і тубі́лець чи прихо́дько, що мешкає серед вас.

27 Бо всі ті гидо́ти робили люди тієї землі, які перед вами, — і стала нечиста та земля.

28 І щоб та земля не ви́ригнула вас через ваше занечищення її, як вона виригнула наро́д, який перед вами.

29 Бо кожен, хто зробить одну зо всіх тих гидот, то ду́ші, що роблять, будуть винищені з-посеред їхнього наро́ду.

30 І ви будете додержувати нака́зів Моїх, щоб не чинити чого з тих гидотних постано́в, що ро́блені перед вами, — і не спога́нитеся ними. Я — Госпо́дь, Бог ваш!“

18 Neither3808 shalt thou take3947 a wife802 to413 her sister,269 to vex6887 her, to uncover1540 her nakedness,6172 beside5921 the other in her life2416 time.

19 Also thou shalt not3808 approach7126 unto413 a woman802 to uncover1540 her nakedness,6172 as long as she is put apart5079 for her uncleanness.2932

20 Moreover thou shalt not3808 lie carnally5414 7903 2233 with413 thy neighbor's5997 wife,802 to defile2930 thyself with her.

24 Defile not ye yourselves2930 408 in any3605 of these things:428 for3588 in all3605 these428 the nations1471 are defiled2930 which834 I589 cast out7971 before4480 6440 you:

25 And the land776 is defiled:2930 therefore I do visit6485 the iniquity5771 thereof upon5921 it, and the land776 itself vomiteth out6958 853 her inhabitants.3427

26 Ye859 shall therefore keep8104 853 my statutes2708 and my judgments,4941 and shall not3808 commit6213 any of these4480 3605 428 abominations;8441 neither any of your own nation,249 nor any stranger1616 that sojourneth1481 among8432 you:

27 (For3588 853 all3605 these411 abominations8441 have the men376 of the land776 done,6213 which834 were before6440 you, and the land776 is defiled;)2930

28 That the land776 spew not you out6958 3808 853 also, when ye defile2930 it, as834 it spewed out6958 853 the nations1471 that834 were before6440 you.

29 For3588 whosoever3605 834 shall commit6213 any4480 3605 of these428 abominations,8441 even the souls5315 that commit6213 them shall be cut off3772 from among4480 7130 their people.5971

30 Therefore shall ye keep8104 853 mine ordinance,4931 that ye commit not6213 1115 any one of these abominable customs,4480 2708 8441 which834 were committed6213 before6440 you, and that ye defile not yourselves2930 3808 therein: I589 am the LORD3068 your God.430
