1 И приступили5066 все военные2428 начальники,8269 и Иоанан,3110 сын1121 Карея,7143 и Иезания,3153 сын1121 Гошаии,1955 и весь народ5971 от малого6996 до большого,1419

2 и сказали559 Иеремии3414 пророку:5030 да падет5307 пред лице3942 твое прошение8467 наше, помолись6419 о нас Господу3068 Богу430 твоему обо всем этом остатке,7611 ибо из многого7235 осталось7604 нас мало,4592 как глаза5869 твои видят7200 нас,

3 чтобы Господь,3068 Бог430 твой, указал5046 нам путь,1870 по которому нам идти,3212 и то, что1697 нам делать.6213

4 И сказал559 им Иеремия3414 пророк:5030 слышу,8085 помолюсь6419 Господу3068 Богу430 вашему по словам1697 вашим, и все, что1697 ответит6030 вам Господь,3068 объявлю5046 вам, не скрою4513 от вас ни слова.1697

5 Они сказали559 Иеремии:3414 Господь3068 да будет между нами свидетелем5707 верным539 и истинным571 в том, что мы точно выполним6213 все1697 то, с чем пришлет7971 тебя к нам Господь3068 Бог430 твой:

6 хорошо2896 ли, худо7451 ли то будет, но гласа6963 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего, к Которому посылаем7971 тебя, послушаемся,8085 чтобы нам было3190 хорошо,3190 когда будем8085 послушны8085 гласу6963 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего.

7 По прошествии7093 десяти6235 дней3117 было слово1697 Господне3068 к Иеремии.3414

8 Он позвал7121 к себе Иоанана,3110 сына1121 Карея,7143 и всех бывших с ним военных2428 начальников8269 и весь народ,5971 от малого6996 и до большого,1419

9 и сказал559 им: так говорит559 Господь,3068 Бог430 Израилев,3478 к Которому вы посылали7971 меня, чтобы повергнуть5307 пред3942 Ним моление8467 ваше:

10 если останетесь3427 на земле776 сей, то Я устрою1129 вас и не разорю,2040 насажду5193 вас и не искореню,5428 ибо Я сожалею5162 о том бедствии,7451 какое сделал6213 вам.

11 Не бойтесь3372 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 которого вы боитесь;3373 не бойтесь3372 его, говорит5002 Господь,3068 ибо Я с вами, чтобы спасать3467 вас и избавлять5337 вас от руки3027 его.

12 И явлю5414 к вам милость,7356 и он умилостивится7355 к вам и возвратит7725 вас в землю127 вашу.

13 Если же вы скажете:559 «не хотим жить3427 в этой земле»,776 и не послушаетесь8085 гласа6963 Господа3068 Бога430 вашего, говоря:559

14 «нет, мы пойдем935 в землю776 Египетскую,4714 где войны4421 не увидим7200 и трубного7782 голоса6963 не услышим,8085 и голодать7456 не будем,7456 и там будем3427 жить»;3427

15 то выслушайте8085 ныне слово1697 Господне,3068 вы, остаток7611 Иуды:3063 так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 Бог430 Израилев:3478 если вы решительно7760 обратите7760 лица6440 ваши, чтобы идти935 в Египет,4714 и пойдете,935 чтобы жить1481 там,

16 то меч,2719 которого вы боитесь,3373 настигнет5381 вас там, в земле776 Египетской,4714 и голод,7458 которого вы страшитесь,1672 будет1692 всегда следовать1692 за310 вами там, в Египте,4714 и там умрете.4191

19 К вам, остаток7611 Иуды,3063 изрек1696 Господь:3068 «не ходите935 в Египет»;4714 твердо3045 знайте,3045 что я ныне3117 предостерегал5749 вас,

20 ибо вы погрешили8582 против себя5315 самих: вы послали7971 меня к Господу3068 Богу430 нашему сказав:559 «помолись6419 о нас Господу3068 Богу430 нашему и все, что скажет559 Господь3068 Бог430 наш, объяви5046 нам, и мы сделаем».6213

21 Я объявил5046 вам ныне;3117 но вы не послушали8085 гласа6963 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего и всего того, с чем Он послал7971 меня к вам.

22 Итак знайте,3045 что вы умрете4191 от меча,2719 голода7458 и моровой1698 язвы1698 в том месте,4725 куда хотите2654 идти,935 чтобы жить1481 там.

Chapter 42

1 THEN all the officers of the forces and Johanan the son of Kareah and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah and all the people from the young to the old came near.

2 And said to Jeremiah, We beseech you, pray for us before the LORD your God, for we are left but a few of many, as your eyes see us;

3 That the LORD our God may show us the way by which we may go and the thing that we may do.

4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, I have heard you; behold. I will pray before the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass that whatever the LORD shall answer you. I will declare it to you; I will hide nothing from you.

5 Then they said to Jeremiah, May the LORD be a true and faithful witness between us if we do not do according to the word with which the LORD your God shall send you to us.

6 Whether it be good or whether it be bad, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God to whom we send you; that it may be well with us when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.

7 And it came to pass after ten days that the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet.

8 Then he called Johanan the son of Kareah and all the officers of the forces that were with him and all the people from the young to the old,

9 And said to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your supplication before him:

10 If you will dwell in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up; for I will cease from the harm that I have done to you.

11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; be not afraid of him, says the LORD, for I am with you to save you, says the LORD; and to deliver you from his hands.

12 And I will show mercy to you, that he may have mercy upon you and cause you to be settled in your own land.

13 But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God,

14 Saying, Not so; but we will go into the land of Egypt that we may not see war nor hear the sound of the trumpet nor have hunger for bread; and there will we dwell;

15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, O remnant of Judah; thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: If you set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to live there;

16 Then it shall come to pass that the sword which you fear shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine of which you are afraid shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there you shall die.

17 So shall it be with all the men who set their faces to enter into Egypt to live there; they shall die by sword, by famine, and by pestilence; and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

18 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my fury have been poured out upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured out upon you, when you shall enter into Egypt; and you shall be an execration and an astonishment and a curse and a reproach; and you shall see this place no more.

19 The LORD has said concerning you, O remnant of Judah: Do not go to Egypt; know certainly that I have warned you this very day.

20 For you have deceived yourselves when you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us before the LORD our God, and whatever the LORD our God shall say to you declare to us and we will do it.

21 And this day I have declared to you; but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God; anything for which he has sent me to you, you have not done.

22 Now therefore know certainly that you shall die by sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.

1 THEN all the officers of the forces and Johanan the son of Kareah and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah and all the people from the young to the old came near.

2 и сказали559 Иеремии3414 пророку:5030 да падет5307 пред лице3942 твое прошение8467 наше, помолись6419 о нас Господу3068 Богу430 твоему обо всем этом остатке,7611 ибо из многого7235 осталось7604 нас мало,4592 как глаза5869 твои видят7200 нас,

2 And said to Jeremiah, We beseech you, pray for us before the LORD your God, for we are left but a few of many, as your eyes see us;

3 чтобы Господь,3068 Бог430 твой, указал5046 нам путь,1870 по которому нам идти,3212 и то, что1697 нам делать.6213

3 That the LORD our God may show us the way by which we may go and the thing that we may do.

4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, I have heard you; behold. I will pray before the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass that whatever the LORD shall answer you. I will declare it to you; I will hide nothing from you.

5 Они сказали559 Иеремии:3414 Господь3068 да будет между нами свидетелем5707 верным539 и истинным571 в том, что мы точно выполним6213 все1697 то, с чем пришлет7971 тебя к нам Господь3068 Бог430 твой:

5 Then they said to Jeremiah, May the LORD be a true and faithful witness between us if we do not do according to the word with which the LORD your God shall send you to us.

6 хорошо2896 ли, худо7451 ли то будет, но гласа6963 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего, к Которому посылаем7971 тебя, послушаемся,8085 чтобы нам было3190 хорошо,3190 когда будем8085 послушны8085 гласу6963 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего.

6 Whether it be good or whether it be bad, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God to whom we send you; that it may be well with us when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.

7 And it came to pass after ten days that the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet.

8 Он позвал7121 к себе Иоанана,3110 сына1121 Карея,7143 и всех бывших с ним военных2428 начальников8269 и весь народ,5971 от малого6996 и до большого,1419

8 Then he called Johanan the son of Kareah and all the officers of the forces that were with him and all the people from the young to the old,

9 и сказал559 им: так говорит559 Господь,3068 Бог430 Израилев,3478 к Которому вы посылали7971 меня, чтобы повергнуть5307 пред3942 Ним моление8467 ваше:

9 And said to them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your supplication before him:

10 если останетесь3427 на земле776 сей, то Я устрою1129 вас и не разорю,2040 насажду5193 вас и не искореню,5428 ибо Я сожалею5162 о том бедствии,7451 какое сделал6213 вам.

10 If you will dwell in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up; for I will cease from the harm that I have done to you.

11 Не бойтесь3372 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 которого вы боитесь;3373 не бойтесь3372 его, говорит5002 Господь,3068 ибо Я с вами, чтобы спасать3467 вас и избавлять5337 вас от руки3027 его.

11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; be not afraid of him, says the LORD, for I am with you to save you, says the LORD; and to deliver you from his hands.

12 И явлю5414 к вам милость,7356 и он умилостивится7355 к вам и возвратит7725 вас в землю127 вашу.

12 And I will show mercy to you, that he may have mercy upon you and cause you to be settled in your own land.

13 Если же вы скажете:559 «не хотим жить3427 в этой земле»,776 и не послушаетесь8085 гласа6963 Господа3068 Бога430 вашего, говоря:559

13 But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God,

14 «нет, мы пойдем935 в землю776 Египетскую,4714 где войны4421 не увидим7200 и трубного7782 голоса6963 не услышим,8085 и голодать7456 не будем,7456 и там будем3427 жить»;3427

14 Saying, Not so; but we will go into the land of Egypt that we may not see war nor hear the sound of the trumpet nor have hunger for bread; and there will we dwell;

15 то выслушайте8085 ныне слово1697 Господне,3068 вы, остаток7611 Иуды:3063 так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 Бог430 Израилев:3478 если вы решительно7760 обратите7760 лица6440 ваши, чтобы идти935 в Египет,4714 и пойдете,935 чтобы жить1481 там,

15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, O remnant of Judah; thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: If you set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to live there;

16 Then it shall come to pass that the sword which you fear shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine of which you are afraid shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there you shall die.

17 И все,582 которые обратят7760 лице6440 свое, чтобы идти935 в Египет4714 и там жить,1481 умрут4191 от меча,2719 голода7458 и моровой1698 язвы,1698 и ни один из них не останется8300 и не избежит6412 того бедствия,7451 которое Я наведу935 на них.

17 So shall it be with all the men who set their faces to enter into Egypt to live there; they shall die by sword, by famine, and by pestilence; and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

19 The LORD has said concerning you, O remnant of Judah: Do not go to Egypt; know certainly that I have warned you this very day.

20 For you have deceived yourselves when you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us before the LORD our God, and whatever the LORD our God shall say to you declare to us and we will do it.

21 And this day I have declared to you; but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God; anything for which he has sent me to you, you have not done.

22 Итак знайте,3045 что вы умрете4191 от меча,2719 голода7458 и моровой1698 язвы1698 в том месте,4725 куда хотите2654 идти,935 чтобы жить1481 там.

22 Now therefore know certainly that you shall die by sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.
