1 Так сказал559 Господь:3068 сойди3381 в дом1004 царя4428 Иудейского3063 и произнеси1696 слово1697 сие

2 и скажи:559 выслушай8085 слово1697 Господне,3068 царь4428 Иудейский,3063 сидящий3427 на престоле3678 Давидовом,1732 ты, и слуги5650 твои, и народ5971 твой, входящие935 сими воротами.8179

3 Так говорит559 Господь:3068 производите6213 суд4941 и правду6666 и спасайте5337 обижаемого1497 от руки3027 притеснителя,6216 не обижайте3238 и не тесните2554 пришельца,1616 сироты3490 и вдовы,490 и невинной5355 крови1818 не проливайте8210 на месте4725 сем.

4 Ибо если вы будете6213 исполнять6213 слово1697 сие, то будут входить935 воротами8179 дома1004 сего цари,4428 сидящие3427 вместо Давида1732 на престоле3678 его, ездящие7392 на колеснице7393 и на конях,5483 сами и слуги5650 их и народ5971 их.

5 А если не послушаете8085 слов1697 сих, то Мною клянусь,7650 говорит5002 Господь,3068 что дом1004 сей сделается пустым.2723

6 Ибо так говорит559 Господь3068 дому1004 царя4428 Иудейского:3063 Галаад1568 ты у Меня, вершина7218 Ливана;3844 но Я сделаю7896 тебя пустынею4057 и города5892 необитаемыми34273427

7 и приготовлю6942 против тебя истребителей,7843 каждого376 со своими орудиями,3627 и срубят3772 лучшие4005 кедры730 твои и бросят5307 в огонь.784

8 И многие7227 народы1471 будут5674 проходить5674 через город5892 сей и говорить559 друг376 другу:7453 «за что Господь3068 так поступил6213 с этим великим1419 городом?5892»

9 И скажут559 в ответ:559 «за то, что они оставили5800 завет1285 Господа3068 Бога430 своего и поклонялись7812 иным312 богам430 и служили5647 им».

10 Не плачьте1058 об умершем4191 и не жалейте5110 о нем; но горько1058 плачьте1058 об отходящем1980 в плен, ибо он уже не возвратится7725 и не увидит7200 родной4138 страны776 своей.

11 Ибо так говорит559 Господь3068 о413 Саллуме,7967 сыне1121 Иосии,2977 царе4428 Иудейском,3063 который царствовал4427 после отца1 своего, Иосии,2977 и который вышел3318 из сего места:4725 он уже не возвратится7725 сюда,

12 но умрет4191 в том месте,4725 куда отвели1540 его пленным,1540 и более не увидит7200 земли776 сей.

13 Горе1945 тому, кто строит1129 дом1004 свой неправдою38086664 и горницы5944 свои беззаконием,4941 кто заставляет5647 ближнего7453 своего работать5647 даром2600 и не отдает5414 ему платы6467 его,

14 кто говорит:559 «построю1129 себе дом1004 обширный4060 и горницы5944 просторные»,7304 — и прорубает7167 себе окна,2474 и обшивает5603 кедром,730 и красит4886 красною8350 краскою.8350

15 Думаешь ли ты быть4427 царем,4427 потому что заключил8474 себя в кедр?730 отец1 твой ел398 и пил,8354 но производил6213 суд4941 и правду,6666 и потому ему было хорошо.2896

16 Он разбирал1777 дело1779 бедного6041 и нищего,34 и потому ему хорошо2896 было. Не это ли значит знать1847 Меня? говорит5002 Господь.3068

17 Но твои глаза5869 и твое сердце3820 обращены только к твоей корысти1215 и к пролитию8210 невинной5355 крови,1818 к тому, чтобы делать6213 притеснение6233 и насилие.4835

19 Ослиным2543 погребением6900 будет6912 он погребен;6912 вытащат5498 его и бросят7993 далеко за1973 ворота8179 Иерусалима.3389

20 Взойди5927 на Ливан3844 и кричи,6817 и на Васане1316 возвысь5414 голос6963 твой и кричи6817 с Аварима,5676 ибо сокрушены7665 все друзья157 твои.

21 Я говорил1696 тебе во время благоденствия7962 твоего; но ты сказал:559 «не послушаю».8085 Таково было поведение1870 твое с самой юности5271 твоей, что ты не слушал8085 гласа6963 Моего.

22 Всех пастырей7462 твоих унесет7462 ветер,7307 и друзья157 твои пойдут3212 в плен;7628 и тогда ты будешь954 постыжен954 и посрамлен3637 за все злодеяния7451 твои.

23 Живущий3427 на Ливане,3844 гнездящийся7077 на кедрах!730 как жалок2603 будешь2603 ты, когда постигнут935 тебя муки,2256 как боли2427 женщины в родах!3205

24 Живу2416 Я, сказал5002 Господь:3068 если бы Иехония,3659 сын1121 Иоакима,3079 царь4428 Иудейский,3063 был перстнем2368 на правой3225 руке3027 Моей, то и отсюда Я сорву5423 тебя

25 и отдам5414 тебя в руки3027 ищущих1245 души5315 твоей и в руки3027 тех, которых ты боишься,3016 в руки3027 Навуходоносора,5019 царя4428 Вавилонского,894 и в руки3027 Халдеев,3778

26 и выброшу2904 тебя и твою мать,517 которая родила3205 тебя, в чужую312 страну,776 где вы не родились,3205 и там умрете;4191

Chapter 22

1 THUS says the LORD: GO down to the house of the king of Judah and speak there this word, and say,

2 Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, who sits on the throne of David, you and your servants and your people who enter by these gates;

3 Thus says the LORD: Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver the oppressed from the hand of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the strangers, the fatherless, and the widows, nor shed innocent blood in this place.

4 For if you will do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings who sit on the throne of David and princes who ride in chariots and on horses, a king and his servants and his people.

5 But if you will not listen to these words, I swear by myself, says the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

6 For thus says the LORD concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are like Gilead, like the head of Lebanon; but I will surely make you a desert, like an uninhabited city.

7 And I will prepare destroyers against you, every one with his axe in his hand; and they shall cut down your choicest cedars and cast them into the fire.

8 And many people shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Wherefore has the LORD done such a thing to this great city?

9 Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God and worshipped other gods and served them.

10 Weep not for the dead, nor bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him that goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native land.

11 For thus says the LORD concerning Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father and who went away from this country: He shall not return here any more;

12 But he shall die in the country where they have carried him captive, and shall see this land no more.

13 Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness and his upper rooms by injustice; who makes his neighbor work for him without wages, and does not give him his hire;

14 Who says, I will build for myself wide houses with spacious upper rooms; and cuts out windows for them and covers them with cedar and paints them with vermilion.

15 Shall you reign and rejoice by living in palaces built with cedar? Indeed, your father did eat and drink, but he also did justice and righteousness, therefore I did good to him.

16 He did justice to the cause of the poor and needy; and he did well; he who does these things, knows me, says the LORD.

17 But your eyes and your hearts are set for nothing else but for your wealth and for the shedding of innocent blood, and for oppression and for violence, to do it.

18 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah: They shall not mourn for him, nor shall they say, Ah my brother! Ah my brother! They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! Ah lord!

19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, dragged and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

20 Go up to Lebanon and cry; and lift up your voice in Mathnin and cry from the other side of the sea; for all your lovers are defeated.

21 I spoke to you in your prosperity; but you said, I will not listen. This has been your way from your youth, you did not obey my voice.

22 All of your shepherds shall be smitten by the east wind, and your lovers shall go into captivity; surely then you shall be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.

23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes her nest in the cedars, how you shall groan when pangs come upon you and the pain as of a woman in travail!

24 As I live, says the LORD God, though Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, yet I would pull you off;

25 And I will deliver you into the hand of the men who seek your life, and into the hand of those whose presence you fear, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 And I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another land, where you were not born; and there shall you die.

27 But to the land to which you hope to return, thither you shall not come back.

28 this Jecaniah is a little man and a fool, he is like a useless vessel; this is why he is carried away, he and his children, and cast into a land which he knows not.

29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD!

30 Thus says the LORD: Write this man down despised and childless, for none of his offspring shall prosper in his days, sitting upon the throne of David and ruling any more in Judah.

2 Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, who sits on the throne of David, you and your servants and your people who enter by these gates;

13 Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness and his upper rooms by injustice; who makes his neighbor work for him without wages, and does not give him his hire;

14 Who says, I will build for myself wide houses with spacious upper rooms; and cuts out windows for them and covers them with cedar and paints them with vermilion.

15 Думаешь ли ты быть4427 царем,4427 потому что заключил8474 себя в кедр?730 отец1 твой ел398 и пил,8354 но производил6213 суд4941 и правду,6666 и потому ему было хорошо.2896

15 Shall you reign and rejoice by living in palaces built with cedar? Indeed, your father did eat and drink, but he also did justice and righteousness, therefore I did good to him.

16 Он разбирал1777 дело1779 бедного6041 и нищего,34 и потому ему хорошо2896 было. Не это ли значит знать1847 Меня? говорит5002 Господь.3068

16 He did justice to the cause of the poor and needy; and he did well; he who does these things, knows me, says the LORD.

18 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah: They shall not mourn for him, nor shall they say, Ah my brother! Ah my brother! They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! Ah lord!

19 Ослиным2543 погребением6900 будет6912 он погребен;6912 вытащат5498 его и бросят7993 далеко за1973 ворота8179 Иерусалима.3389

19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, dragged and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

24 As I live, says the LORD God, though Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, yet I would pull you off;

25 And I will deliver you into the hand of the men who seek your life, and into the hand of those whose presence you fear, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 и выброшу2904 тебя и твою мать,517 которая родила3205 тебя, в чужую312 страну,776 где вы не родились,3205 и там умрете;4191

26 And I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another land, where you were not born; and there shall you die.

27 а в землю,776 куда душа их будет желать53755315 возвратиться,7725 туда не возвратятся.7725

27 But to the land to which you hope to return, thither you shall not come back.

28 «Неужели этот человек,376 Иехония,3659 есть создание6089 презренное,959 отверженное?5310 или он — сосуд3627 непотребный?2656 за что они выброшены7993 — он и племя2233 его, и брошены2904 в страну,776 которой не знали?3045»

28 this Jecaniah is a little man and a fool, he is like a useless vessel; this is why he is carried away, he and his children, and cast into a land which he knows not.
