Глава 12

1 Человек из видения сказал так: «Даниил, в то время восстанет великий принц Михаил, защищающий твой народ. Наступит тяжёлое время, какого ещё не знала земля с тех пор, как существуют люди. Но в это время, Даниил, каждый человек, принадлежащий твоему народу, чьё имя записано в книге жизни, будет спасён.

2 Множество людей, которые умерли и похоронены в могилах, восстанут: одни для вечной жизни, а другие на вечное поругание и стыд.

3 Мудрые люди будут сиять как ясное небо. Те мудрецы, которые учили других жить праведно, засияют словно звёзды во веки вечные и навсегда.

4 Но ты, Даниил, держи эти слова в секрете. Ты должен закрыть книгу и держать этот секрет до конца времён. в поисках истинного знания, и оно умножится».

5 Тогда я, Даниил, огляделся и увидел двух других людей. Один человек находился на одном берегу реки, а другой человек стоял на другом.

6 Человек, одетый в льняную одежду, стоял над водами реки. Один из тех двух людей спросил его: «Сколько пройдёт времени, прежде чем произойдут эти удивительные события?»

7 Затем человек в льняной одежде, стоящий над водой, поднял правую и левую руки к небу. И слышал я, как он дал обещание именем Бога, живущего вечно, сказав: «Это совершится в течение трёх с половиной лет. Силы святого народа будут сломлены, и тогда всё это, наконец, совершится».

8 Я слышал этот ответ, но не понял его и потому спросил: «Господин мой, что же случится после того, как сбудется всё это?»

9 И ответил он: «Даниил, пусть твоя жизнь продолжается, как и раньше. Значение этих слов скрыто и будет оставаться секретом до конца времён.

10 Многие станут безупречными, очистив себя. Однако нечестивые люди такими же и останутся и ничего не поймут, а мудрые поймут всё.

11 Одна тысяча двести девяносто дней пройдёт со времени, когда будут остановлены ежедневные жертвоприношения и до времени установления страшной мерзости, приносящей погибель.

12 Тот же, кто будет терпелив и останется в живых в конце этих тысячи трёхсот тридцати пяти дней, будет очень счастлив.

13 Что же касается тебя, Даниил, иди и живи своей жизнью до конца. Затем ты отойдёшь в мир иной, а в конце дней восстанешь из мёртвых и получишь свою долю обещанной награды».

Chapter 12

1 AND at that time shall Michael arise, the great angel who has charge over your people; and there shall be a time of trouble such as never has been like it since the beginning of the world; and at that very time some of your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And those who have done good and the men of understanding shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those who have turned many to righteousness shall shine and stand like stars for ever and ever.

4 But you, O Daniel, seal these words and be silent, and seal this book even to the time of the end; many shall want to know the end, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two other angels stood one on this side of the bank of the river and the other on that side.

6 And they said to the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river, How long shall it be till the end of these things?

7 And I heard the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river. He held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time; and when holy people are delivered, all these things shall be fulfilled.

8 And I, Daniel, heard something, but I did not understand; then I said, O my lord, what shall come after these things?

9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be chosen and made white and tried; but the sinners shall continue to sin; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who have done good works shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be abolished, and the abomination is given to destruction, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

13 But as for you, O Daniel, go your way and rest till the end; then you shall arise at your appointed time, at the end of the days.

2 Множество людей, которые умерли и похоронены в могилах, восстанут: одни для вечной жизни, а другие на вечное поругание и стыд.

2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 Мудрые люди будут сиять как ясное небо. Те мудрецы, которые учили других жить праведно, засияют словно звёзды во веки вечные и навсегда.

3 And those who have done good and the men of understanding shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and those who have turned many to righteousness shall shine and stand like stars for ever and ever.

4 But you, O Daniel, seal these words and be silent, and seal this book even to the time of the end; many shall want to know the end, and knowledge shall be increased.

6 And they said to the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river, How long shall it be till the end of these things?

7 And I heard the man clothed in costly array who stood above the waters of the river. He held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half a time; and when holy people are delivered, all these things shall be fulfilled.

8 Я слышал этот ответ, но не понял его и потому спросил: «Господин мой, что же случится после того, как сбудется всё это?»

8 And I, Daniel, heard something, but I did not understand; then I said, O my lord, what shall come after these things?

9 И ответил он: «Даниил, пусть твоя жизнь продолжается, как и раньше. Значение этих слов скрыто и будет оставаться секретом до конца времён.

9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Многие станут безупречными, очистив себя. Однако нечестивые люди такими же и останутся и ничего не поймут, а мудрые поймут всё.

10 Many shall be chosen and made white and tried; but the sinners shall continue to sin; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who have done good works shall understand.

11 Одна тысяча двести девяносто дней пройдёт со времени, когда будут остановлены ежедневные жертвоприношения и до времени установления страшной мерзости, приносящей погибель.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be abolished, and the abomination is given to destruction, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Тот же, кто будет терпелив и останется в живых в конце этих тысячи трёхсот тридцати пяти дней, будет очень счастлив.

12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

13 Что же касается тебя, Даниил, иди и живи своей жизнью до конца. Затем ты отойдёшь в мир иной, а в конце дней восстанешь из мёртвых и получишь свою долю обещанной награды».

13 But as for you, O Daniel, go your way and rest till the end; then you shall arise at your appointed time, at the end of the days.
