Розділ 12

1 І повстане того ча́су Михаїл, великий той князь, що стоїть при синах твого наро́ду, і буде час у́тиску, якого не було від існува́ння люду аж до цього ча́су. І того ча́су буде врятований із наро́ду твого́ кожен, хто буде знайдений записаним у книзі.

2 І багато-хто з тих, що сплять у зе́мному по́росі, збудяться, одні на вічне життя, а одні на наруги, на вічну гидоту.

3 А розумні будуть ся́яти, як світила небозво́ду, а ті, хто привів багатьох до праведности, немов зорі, навіки віків.

4 А ти, Даниїле, заховай ці слова́, і запечатай цю книгу аж до ча́су кінця. Багато-хто дослідять її, і так розмно́житься знання́“.

5 І побачив я, Даниїл, аж ось стоять два інші анголи́, — один тут при цьо́му березі річки, а один там при то́му березі річки.

6 І сказав він до мужа, одя́гненого в льняну́ одіж, що був над водою річки: „Коли буде кінець цим дивним реча́м?“

7 І почув я того мужа, одя́гненого в льняну́ одіж, що був над водою річки. І звів він до неба свою прави́цю та свою ліви́цю, і присягнув вічно Живим: це буде за час, за часи́ і за пів ча́су, і коли скінчи́ться розбива́ння сили святого наро́ду, все це спо́вниться.

8 А я це слухав і не розумів. І сказав я: „Мій пане, який цьому кінець?“

9 І він сказав: „Іди, Даниїле, бо заховані й запечатані ці слова́ аж до ча́су кінця.

10 Багато-хто будуть очищені, і ви́біляться, і будуть перето́плені; і будуть несправедливі несправедливими, і цього́ не зрозуміють усі несправедливі, а розумні — зрозуміють.

11 А від ча́су, коли буде припинена стала жертва, щоб була́ поставлена гидо́та спусто́шення, мине тисяча двісті й дев'ятдеся́т день.

12 Благослове́нний той, хто чекає, і дося́гне до тисячі трьох сотень тридцяти й п'яти день!

13 А ти йди до кінця, і відпочи́неш, і встанеш на свою долю під кінець тих днів!“

1 And at that1931 time6256 shall Michael4317 stand up,5975 the great1419 prince8269 which standeth5975 for5921 the children1121 of thy people:5971 and there shall be1961 a time6256 of trouble,6869 such as834 never3808 was1961 since there was4480 1961 a nation1471 even to5704 that same1931 time:6256 and at that1931 time6256 thy people5971 shall be delivered,4422 every one3605 that shall be found4672 written3789 in the book.5612

2 And many7227 of them that sleep4480 3463 in the dust6083 of the earth127 shall awake,6974 some428 to everlasting5769 life,2416 and some428 to shame2781 and everlasting5769 contempt.1860

3 And they that be wise7919 shall shine2094 as the brightness2096 of the firmament;7549 and they that turn many to righteousness6663 7227 as the stars3556 forever5769 and ever.5703

4 But thou,859 O Daniel,1840 shut up5640 the words,1697 and seal2856 the book,5612 even to5704 the time6256 of the end:7093 many7227 shall run to and fro,7751 and knowledge1847 shall be increased.7235

5 Then I589 Daniel1840 looked,7200 and, behold,2009 there stood5975 other312 two,8147 the one259 on this side2008 of the bank8193 of the river,2975 and the other259 on that side2008 of the bank8193 of the river.2975

6 And one said559 to the man376 clothed3847 in linen,906 which834 was upon4480 4605 the waters4325 of the river,2975 How long5704 4970 shall it be to the end7093 of these wonders?6382

7 And I heard8085 853 the man376 clothed3847 in linen,906 which834 was upon4480 4605 the waters4325 of the river,2975 when he held up7311 his right hand3225 and his left hand8040 unto413 heaven,8064 and swore7650 by him that liveth2416 forever5769 that3588 it shall be for a time,4150 times,4150 and a half;2677 and when he shall have accomplished3615 to scatter5310 the power3027 of the holy6944 people,5971 all3605 these428 things shall be finished.3615

8 And I589 heard,8085 but I understood995 not:3808 then said559 I, O my Lord,113 what4100 shall be the end319 of these428 things?

9 And he said,559 Go thy way,1980 Daniel:1840 for3588 the words1697 are closed up5640 and sealed2856 till5704 the time6256 of the end.7093

10 Many7227 shall be purified,1305 and made white,3835 and tried;6884 but the wicked7563 shall do wickedly:7561 and none3808 3605 of the wicked7563 shall understand;995 but the wise7919 shall understand.995

11 And from the time4480 6256 that the daily8548 sacrifice shall be taken away,5493 and the abomination8251 that maketh desolate8074 set up,5414 there shall be a thousand505 two hundred3967 and ninety8673 days.3117

12 Blessed835 is he that waiteth,2442 and cometh5060 to the thousand505 three7969 hundred3967 and five2568 and thirty7970 days.3117

13 But go thou thy way859 1980 till the end7093 be: for thou shalt rest,5117 and stand5975 in thy lot1486 at the end7093 of the days.3117
