Глава 14

1 Священник Елеазар, Иисус, сын Навина, и главы всех семей решили, какую землю дать народу.

2 Господь ещё задолго до этого сказал через Моисея, как народ должен выбирать свою землю. Народ из девяти колен и половины колена бросил жребий, чтобы решить, какую землю они получат.

3 Моисей уже отдал двум коленам и половине колена землю к востоку от реки Иордан. Но колену Левия не было дано земли, как другим народам.

4 Двенадцать колен получили свою собственную землю. Сыновья Иосифа разделились на два колена: Манассии и Ефрема — и каждое колено получило землю. Колену Левия не было дано земли, эти люди получили только города, разбросанные по землям других колен, и поля вокруг этих городов для их скота.

5 Господь сказал Моисею, как разделить землю между коленами Израиля, и израильтяне разделили её так, как повелел Господь.

6 Однажды несколько человек из колена Иуды пришли к Иисусу в Галгал. Один из них был кенезеянин Халев, сын Иефоннии. Он сказал Иисусу: «Ты помнишь, что Господь говорил Моисею в Кадес-Варне. Господь разговаривал с Моисеем, Своим слугой, о тебе и обо мне.

7 Мне было сорок лет, когда Моисей, слуга Господний, послал меня осмотреть землю, по которой мы шли. Когда я вернулся, то рассказал Моисею, что я думаю об этой земле.

8 То, что рассказали другие братья, которые ходили со мной туда, испугало народ. Я же не сомневался, что Господь разрешит нам взять эту землю.

9 В тот день Моисей дал мне обещание. Он сказал: „Земля, по которой ты ходил, станет твоей землёй. Твои дети будут владеть ею вечно. Я дам её тебе, потому что ты твёрдо веришь в Господа, Бога моего”.

10 Господь охранял мою жизнь ещё сорок пять лет, как и обещал. Всё это время мы все скитались по пустыне, и теперь мне восемьдесят пять лет.

11 Но я ещё так же крепок, как и в тот день, когда Господь посылал меня. Я и сейчас готов сражаться, как и тогда.

12 Так дай мне теперь землю в горной стране, которую Господь обещал мне в тот день. В то время ты слышал, что там жил сильный народ, — енакитяне, и у них были очень большие, хорошо укреплённые города. Может быть, Господь будет со мной, и я изгоню их, и возьму эту землю, как сказал Господь».

13 Иисус благословил Халева, сына Иефоннии, и дал ему во владение город Хеврон.

14 Этот город и эта земля сейчас принадлежат семье кенезеянина Халева, сына Иефоннии, потому что он верил в Господа, Бога Израиля, и слушался Его.

15 В прошлом этот город назывался Кириаф-Арба, в честь великого человека из народа енакитян, имя которого было Арба. После этого на той земле воцарился мир.

Joshua

Chapter 14

1 And these428 are the countries which834 the children1121 of Israel3478 inherited5157 in the land776 of Canaan,3667 which Eleazar499 the priest,3548 and Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 and the heads7218 of the fathers1 of the tribes4294 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 distributed5157 for inheritance5157 to them.

2 By lot1486 was their inheritance,5159 as the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses,4872 for the nine8672 tribes,4294 and for the half2677 tribe.4294

3 For Moses4872 had given5414 the inheritance5159 of two8147 tribes4294 and an half2677 tribe4294 on the other5676 side5676 Jordan:3383 but to the Levites3881 he gave5414 none3808 inheritance5159 among8432 them.

4 For the children1121 of Joseph3130 were two8147 tribes,4294 Manasseh4519 and Ephraim:669 therefore they gave5414 no3808 part2506 to the Levites3881 in the land,776 save3588 518 cities5892 to dwell3427 in, with their suburbs4054 for their cattle4735 and for their substance.7075

5 As the LORD3068 commanded6680 Moses,4872 so3651 the children1121 of Israel3478 did,6213 and they divided2505 the land.776

6 Then the children1121 of Judah3063 came5066 to Joshua3091 in Gilgal:1537 and Caleb3612 the son1121 of Jephunneh3312 the Kenezite7074 said559 to him, You know3045 the thing1697 that the LORD3068 said1696 to Moses4872 the man376 of God430 concerning5921 182 me and you in Kadeshbarnea.6947

7 Forty705 years8141 old1121 was I when Moses4872 the servant5650 of the LORD3068 sent7971 me from Kadeshbarnea6947 to espy7270 out the land;776 and I brought7725 him word1697 again7725 as it was in my heart.3824

8 Nevertheless my brothers251 that went5927 up with me made the heart3820 of the people5971 melt:4529 but I wholly4390 followed310 the LORD3068 my God.430

9 And Moses4872 swore7650 on that day,3117 saying,559 Surely518 the land776 where on834 your feet7272 have trodden1869 shall be your inheritance,5159 and your children's1121 for ever,5769 because3588 you have wholly4390 followed310 the LORD3068 my God.430

10 And now,6258 behold,2009 the LORD3068 has kept me alive,2421 as he said,1696 these2088 forty705 and five2568 years,8141 even since227 the LORD3068 spoke1696 this2088 word1697 to Moses,4872 while834 the children of Israel3478 wandered1980 in the wilderness:4057 and now,6258 see,2009 I am this day3117 fourscore8084 and five2568 years8141 old.1121

11 As yet5750 I am as strong2389 this day3117 as I was in the day3117 that Moses4872 sent7971 me: as my strength3581 was then,227 even so is my strength3581 now,6258 for war,4421 both to go3318 out, and to come935 in.

12 Now6258 therefore give5414 me this2088 mountain,2022 whereof834 the LORD3068 spoke1696 in that day;3117 for you heard8085 in that day3117 how3588 the Anakims6062 were there,8033 and that the cities5892 were great1419 and fenced:1219 if194 so be the LORD3068 will be with me, then I shall be able to drive3423 them out, as the LORD3068 said.1696

13 And Joshua3091 blessed1288 him, and gave5414 to Caleb3612 the son1121 of Jephunneh3312 Hebron2275 for an inheritance.5159

14 Hebron2275 therefore became1961 the inheritance5159 of Caleb3612 the son1121 of Jephunneh3312 the Kenezite7074 to this2088 day,3117 because3282 that he wholly4390 followed310 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel.3478

15 And the name8034 of Hebron2275 before6440 was Kirjatharba;7153 which Arba was a great1419 man120 among the Anakims.6062 And the land776 had rest8252 from war.4421

10 Господь охранял мою жизнь ещё сорок пять лет, как и обещал. Всё это время мы все скитались по пустыне, и теперь мне восемьдесят пять лет.

11 Но я ещё так же крепок, как и в тот день, когда Господь посылал меня. Я и сейчас готов сражаться, как и тогда.

11 As yet5750 I am as strong2389 this day3117 as I was in the day3117 that Moses4872 sent7971 me: as my strength3581 was then,227 even so is my strength3581 now,6258 for war,4421 both to go3318 out, and to come935 in.

12 Так дай мне теперь землю в горной стране, которую Господь обещал мне в тот день. В то время ты слышал, что там жил сильный народ, — енакитяне, и у них были очень большие, хорошо укреплённые города. Может быть, Господь будет со мной, и я изгоню их, и возьму эту землю, как сказал Господь».

12 Now6258 therefore give5414 me this2088 mountain,2022 whereof834 the LORD3068 spoke1696 in that day;3117 for you heard8085 in that day3117 how3588 the Anakims6062 were there,8033 and that the cities5892 were great1419 and fenced:1219 if194 so be the LORD3068 will be with me, then I shall be able to drive3423 them out, as the LORD3068 said.1696

13 Иисус благословил Халева, сына Иефоннии, и дал ему во владение город Хеврон.

13 And Joshua3091 blessed1288 him, and gave5414 to Caleb3612 the son1121 of Jephunneh3312 Hebron2275 for an inheritance.5159

14 Этот город и эта земля сейчас принадлежат семье кенезеянина Халева, сына Иефоннии, потому что он верил в Господа, Бога Израиля, и слушался Его.
