Глава 7

1 Между тем, как Я врачую Израиля, открывается нечестие Ефремове и злодеяния Самарии; ибо у них то и дело что козни; и воры ходят; толпа по улицам разливается.

2 И не подумают в сердце своем, что Я помню все злодеяния их. Вот уже обложили их деяния их; они пред лицем Моим.

3 Злодейством своим увеселяют царя; и неправдами своими князей.

4 Все они прелюбодействуют, как печь растопленная у хлебника, который бодрствует, и тогда как перестал тесто месить, до того времени, когда вскиснет.

5 `Торжественный, говорят, день царя нашего!` князья вином разгорячаются до расслабления; и сам он протягивает руку свою со смехотворцами.

6 Поелику они наполнили сердце свое, как печь, коварствами; то хлебник их спит во всю ночь, а поутру та печь горит как пылающий огонь.

7 Все они раскалены, как печь, и съедают судей своих; падают все цари их; никто из них не вопиет ко Мне.

8 Ефрем смешался с народами; Ефрем - недопеченный хлеб.

9 Чужие съедают силу его, а он не знает; и седина усеяла его, а он все неразумен.

10 И унижена гордость Израиля пред очами его; но они не обращаются к Иегове, Богу своему, и при всем этом не ищут Его.

11 И стал Ефрем, как глупый, бессмысленный голубь; зовут Египтян, и идут к Ассуру.

12 Когда они пойдут, Я распростру над ними сеть Мою; как птиц небесных свергну их; накажу их, как они слышали в собраниях своих.

13 Беда им, что они отступили от Меня! Горе им, что они вероломны против Меня! Я хотел спасти их, а они говорят лживости против Меня.

14 И не взывают ко Мне от сердца своего, когда рыдают на ложах своих. О хлебе и вине советуются между собою, а от Меня отстали.

15 И Я учил, мышцы их укреплял; а они мыслят зло против Меня.

16 Не к горнему обращаются; они сделались как неверный лук. Падут от меча князья их за дерзость языка их; это будет посмеянием их в земле египетской.

1 When I would have healed7495 Israel,3478 then the iniquity5771 of Ephraim669 was discovered,1540 and the wickedness7451 of Samaria:8111 for they commit6466 falsehood;8267 and the thief1590 comes935 in, and the troop1416 of robbers spoils6584 without.2351

2 And they consider559 not in their hearts3824 that I remember2142 all3605 their wickedness:7451 now their own doings4611 have beset5437 them about;5437 they are before5048 my face.6440

3 They make the king4428 glad8056 with their wickedness,7451 and the princes8269 with their lies.3585

4 They are all3605 adulterers,5003 as an oven8574 heated1197 by the baker,644 who ceases7673 from raising5782 after he has kneaded3888 the dough,1217 until5704 it be leavened.2557

5 In the day3117 of our king4428 the princes8269 have made him sick2470 with bottles2573 of wine;3196 he stretched4900 out his hand3027 with scorners.3945

6 For they have made ready7126 their heart3820 like an oven,8574 whiles they lie in wait:693 their baker644 sleeps3463 all3605 the night;3915 in the morning1242 it burns1197 as a flaming3852 fire.784

7 They are all3605 hot2552 as an oven,8574 and have devoured398 their judges;8199 all3605 their kings4428 are fallen:5307 there is none369 among them that calls7121 to me.

8 Ephraim,669 he has mixed1101 himself1931 among the people;5971 Ephraim669 is a cake5692 not turned.2015

9 Strangers2114 have devoured398 his strength,3581 and he knows3045 it not: yes,1571 gray7872 hairs are here2236 and there on him, yet he knows3045 not.

10 And the pride1347 of Israel3478 testifies6030 to his face:6440 and they do not return7725 to the LORD3068 their God,430 nor3808 seek1245 him for all3605 this.2063

11 Ephraim669 also is like a silly6601 dove3123 without369 heart:3820 they call7121 to Egypt,4714 they go1980 to Assyria.804

12 When834 they shall go,3212 I will spread6566 my net7568 on them; I will bring3381 them down3381 as the fowls5775 of the heaven;8064 I will chastise3256 them, as their congregation5712 has heard.8085

13 Woe188 to them! for they have fled5074 from me: destruction7701 to them! because3588 they have transgressed6586 against me: though I have redeemed6299 them, yet they have spoken1696 lies3576 against5921 me.

14 And they have not cried2199 to me with their heart,3820 when3588 they howled3213 on their beds:4904 they assemble1481 themselves for corn1715 and wine,8492 and they rebel5493 against me.

15 Though I have bound3256 and strengthened2388 their arms,2220 yet do they imagine2803 mischief7451 against413 me.

16 They return,7725 but not to the most5920 High:5920 they are like a deceitful7423 bow:7198 their princes8269 shall fall5307 by the sword2719 for the rage2195 of their tongue:3956 this2097 shall be their derision3932 in the land776 of Egypt.4714
