1 Послушайте меня, ищущие ГОСПОДА, те, кто к правде стремится! «Взгляните на скалу, из которой вы вытесаны, на каменоломню, в которой вы были добыты;
2 взгляните на отца вашего Авраама, на Сарру, вас родившую, — Авраам был один, когда Я призвал его, но Я благословил его, даровал ему потомство многочисленное».
3 ГОСПОДЬ утешит Сион, утешение достигнет и самих развалин его; Он уподобит пустынные земли его Эдему, степь иссохшую — саду ГОСПОДНЮ, и огласится Сион ликованием, хвалой и песнопениями.
4 «Внимай же Мне, народ Мой, послушай Меня, племя Мое! Я дарую учение Свое, и суд Мой для народов светом будет.
5 Близко уже торжество правды Моей, грядет спасение народа Моего, руки Мои будут вершить правосудие в народах, побережья уповают на Меня, на силу Мою надеются.
6 Поднимите взор ваш к небесам и на землю бросьте взгляд свой! Как дым, растают эти небеса, земля, как одежда, обветшает, обитатели ее, как мошки, сгинут. Но спасение, даруемое Мной, вечным будет, и суд Мой правый не будет упразднен вовек.
7 Послушайте Меня те, кому ведомо, что есть справедливость, народ, у которого учение Мое в сердце! Не бойтесь поношения от людей, злословия их не страшитесь —
8 словно одежду, поест их моль, как ткань шерстяную, уничтожат их вредители; но праведность Моя вовек пребудет, спасение — из поколения в поколение».
9 Поднимись, рука ГОСПОДНЯ, и облекись силой! Поднимись, как в дни давние, времена древние! Не ты ли Рахав разрубила, чудище морское пронзила?
10 Не ты ли и море иссушила, воды великой пучины, проложила дорогу через глубины морские, по которой прошли искупленные?
11 Возвратятся избавленные ГОСПОДОМ, взойдут, ликуя, на Сион, увенчаны будут радостью вечной. Обретут радость и веселье, а страдания и стоны прочь убегут.
12 «Я, никто иной, Утешитель ваш! И чего тебе бояться бренного человека, мужа, что увядает, как трава?
13 Отчего же ты забываешь ГОСПОДА, Который создал тебя, Того, Кто небеса раскинул и землю основал? Ты ужасаешься что ни день ярости угнетателя, который гибелью грозит. Но где же та ярость?
14 Скоро будет отпущен на свободу угнетенный, не пропадет он в яме, хлеба лишен не будет.
15 Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой! Тот, Кто море вздымает так, что ревут его волны; ГОСПОДЬ Воинств — имя Мое.
16 Я вложил Мои слова в уста твои, сенью руки Моей укрыл тебя — Я, Устроитель небес, Основатель земли, назвавший Сион народом Своим!»
17 Воспрянь, воспрянь, Иерусалим, восстань! Ты испил из руки ГОСПОДНЕЙ чашу гнева, до дна осушил и не устоял на ногах.
18 Из всех рожденных тобою детей не на кого было опереться, из всех, кого вскормил ты, под руку некому было взять.
19 Обрушились на тебя две беды — кто пожалеет тебя? — разгром и разруха, голод и меч. Кто же утешит тебя?
20 Сыновья твои обессилели, лежат на каждом углу, словно лань в западне, гнев ГОСПОДА настиг их, укор от Бога твоего.
21 Выслушайте же всё это, страждущие, вы, кто пьян, но не от вина!
22 Так говорит Владыка твой, ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, вступающийся за Свой народ: «Я взял из рук твоих чашу пьянящую, из чаши ярости Моей не придется тебе пить более.
23 Вложу ее в руки мучителей твоих, говоривших тебе: „Ниц пади, а мы по тебе пройдемся!“ — и становилась спина твоя землею, улицей для прохожих».

3 For the LORD3068 shall comfort5162 Zion:6726 he will comfort5162 all3605 her waste2723 places; and he will make7760 her wilderness4057 like Eden,5731 and her desert6160 like the garden1588 of the LORD;3068 joy8342 and gladness8057 shall be found4672 therein, thanksgiving,8426 and the voice6963 of melody.2172
4 Listen7181 to me, my people;5971 and give ear238 to me, O my nation:3816 for a law8451 shall proceed3318 from me, and I will make my judgment4941 to rest7280 for a light216 of the people.5971

18 Из всех рожденных тобою детей не на кого было опереться, из всех, кого вскормил ты, под руку некому было взять.

19 Обрушились на тебя две беды — кто пожалеет тебя? — разгром и разруха, голод и меч. Кто же утешит тебя?
