Глава 8

1 «Когда настанет то время, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — выбросят из могил кости царей иудейских и знати, кости священников, и пророков, и жителей Иерусалима.

2 И раскидают их под солнцем, и под луной, и под звездами небесными, которые им были столь желанны и которым они служили. За ними следовали они, к ним устремлялись и поклонялись им. Не соберут эти кости и не похоронят, будут они брошены на землю, словно навоз.

3 Но все оставшиеся в живых из этого злого племени предпочтут смерть жизни, так будет повсюду, куда бы Я ни изгнал их», — ГОСПОДОМ Воинств сказано это.

4 И ты скажешь им: «Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Разве упавшие не встают, разве заблудившиеся не возвращаются?

5 Почему же тогда народ сей, Иерусалим, все время отворачивается от Меня и бесконечно блуждает? Погрязли во лжи они и возвратиться ко Мне не желают.

6 Я внимательно слушал их, но они не говорят правды. Нет среди них ни одного, кто бы раскаялся в злодеяниях или сокрушался: „Что же я наделал!“ Каждый устремляется на свою дорогу подобно лошади, рвущейся в бой.

7 Даже аист в небе знает свое время, голубь, ласточка и журавль точно в срок возвращаются с юга, а народ Мой не знает предписаний ГОСПОДНИХ.

8 Как вы можете говорить о себе: „Мы мудры, ведь нам дарован Закон ГОСПОДА“? Посмотрите, лживое перо книжников его превратило в обман.

9 Постыжены будут мудрецы, страх обуяет их, и будут они пойманы. Воистину слово ГОСПОДНЕ они отвергли. В чем же их мудрость?

10 Потому Я отдам их жен чужим, поля их — поработителям. Ведь все они, от мала до велика, жаждут прибыли неправедной. Каждый, от пророка до священника, поступает по лжи.

11 Нерадивы они к врачеванию ран народа Моего, „Мир, мир“, — говорят они, тогда как мира нет.

12 Творили они постыдное и мерзкое, но не стыдились, и никто не заставит их краснеть. Потому падут среди погибающих и, когда буду Я взыскивать с них, не устоят, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ. —

13 Когда Я желал собрать их, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — не было винограда на лозе, смокв на смоковнице, все листья увяли, и даже то, что Я им даровал, они утратили“.

14 „Что же мы сидим? Собирайтесь все — пойдем в города неприступные и погибнем там, раз ГОСПОДЬ, Бог наш, обрек нас на погибель, дал нам напиться воды отравленной за грехи наши перед Ним.

15 Мира мы ждали, но нет добра, ждали исцеления, но только ужас постиг нас.

16 Слышится из Дана храп лошадей. Земля сотрясается от ржанья жеребцов. Вот они уже поглощают землю и всё, что наполняет ее, города и обитателей их“.

17 „Смотрите, Я выпущу на вас змей, гадюк, на которых не действует заклинанье, жалить будут они вас нещадно“, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ».

18 Нет у меня больше радости, меня охватило горе, сердце мое болит.

19 Слышите, доносятся крики о помощи, крики бедного народа моего из далекой земли: «Неужели ГОСПОДА нет на Сионе? Неужели нет среди нас нашего Царя?» Зачем раздражали они ГОСПОДА своими идолами, никчемными богами иноземными?

20 «Жатва прошла, кончилось лето, но не пришло к нам спасение!» — говорите вы.

21 О страдании бедного народа моего сокрушаюсь я, ужас меня объял.

22 Неужели нет бальзама в Гиладе, разве там нет врача? Почему же народ мой не находит себе исцеленья?

1 At that time,6256 said5002 the LORD,3068 they shall bring3318 out the bones6106 of the kings4428 of Judah,3063 and the bones6106 of his princes,8269 and the bones6106 of the priests,3548 and the bones6106 of the prophets,5030 and the bones6106 of the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 out of their graves:6913

2 And they shall spread7849 them before the sun,8121 and the moon,3394 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven,8064 whom834 they have loved,157 and whom834 they have served,5647 and after310 whom834 they have walked,1980 and whom they have sought,1875 and whom834 they have worshipped:7812 they shall not be gathered,622 nor3808 be buried;6912 they shall be for dung1828 on the face6440 of the earth.127

3 And death4194 shall be chosen977 rather than life2416 by all3605 the residue7611 of them that remain7604 of this2063 evil7451 family,4940 which remain7604 in all3605 the places4725 where834 8033 I have driven5080 them, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

4 Moreover you shall say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Shall they fall,5307 and not arise?6965 shall he turn7725 away, and not return?7725

5 Why4069 then is this2088 people5971 of Jerusalem3389 slid7725 back7725 by a perpetual5331 backsliding?4878 they hold2388 fast deceit,8649 they refuse3985 to return.7725

6 I listened8085 and heard,8085 but they spoke1696 not aright:3651 no369 man376 repented5162 him of his wickedness,7451 saying,559 What4100 have I done?6213 every3605 one turned7725 to his course,4794 as the horse5483 rushes7857 into the battle.4421

7 Yes,1571 the stork2624 in the heaven8064 knows3045 her appointed4150 times;6256 and the turtle8449 and the crane5483 and the swallow5693 observe8104 the time6256 of their coming;935 but my people5971 know3045 not the judgment4941 of the LORD.3068

8 How349 do you say,559 We are wise,2450 and the law8451 of the LORD3068 is with us? See,2009 certainly403 in vain8267 made6213 he it; the pen5842 of the scribes5608 is in vain.8267

9 The wise2450 men are ashamed,954 they are dismayed2865 and taken: see,2009 they have rejected3988 the word1697 of the LORD;3068 and what4100 wisdom2451 is in them?

10 Therefore3651 will I give5414 their wives802 to others,312 and their fields7704 to them that shall inherit3423 them: for every3605 one from the least6996 even to the greatest1419 is given to covetousness,1215 from the prophet5030 even to the priest3548 every3605 one deals6213 falsely.8267

11 For they have healed7495 the hurt7667 of the daughter1323 of my people5971 slightly,7043 saying,559 Peace,7965 peace;7965 when there is no369 peace.7965

12 Were they ashamed954 when3588 they had committed6213 abomination?8441 no,1571 they were not at all ashamed,954 neither3808 could3045 they blush:3637 therefore3651 shall they fall5307 among them that fall:5307 in the time6256 of their visitation6486 they shall be cast3782 down,3782 said559 the LORD.3068

13 I will surely consume5486 them, said5002 the LORD:3068 there shall be no369 grapes6025 on the vine,1612 nor369 figs8384 on the fig8384 tree, and the leaf5929 shall fade;5034 and the things that I have given5414 them shall pass5674 away from them.

14 Why5921 4100 do we sit3427 still? assemble622 yourselves, and let us enter935 into413 the defended4013 cities,5892 and let us be silent1826 there:8033 for the LORD3068 our God430 has put us to silence,1826 and given us water4325 of gall7219 to drink,8248 because3588 we have sinned2398 against the LORD.3068

15 We looked6960 for peace,7965 but no369 good2896 came; and for a time6256 of health,4832 and behold2009 trouble!1205

16 The snorting5170 of his horses5483 was heard8085 from Dan:1835 the whole3605 land776 trembled7493 at the sound6963 of the neighing4684 of his strong47 ones; for they are come,935 and have devoured398 the land,776 and all4393 that is in it; the city,5892 and those that dwell3427 therein.

17 For, behold,2005 I will send7971 serpents,5175 cockatrices,6848 among you, which834 will not be charmed,3908 and they shall bite5391 you, said5002 the LORD.3068

18 When I would comfort4010 myself against sorrow,3015 my heart3820 is faint1742 in me.

19 Behold2009 the voice6963 of the cry7775 of the daughter1323 of my people5971 because of them that dwell in a far4801 country:776 Is not the LORD3068 in Zion?6726 is not her king4428 in her? Why4069 have they provoked me to anger3707 with their graven6456 images, and with strange5236 vanities?1892

20 The harvest7105 is past,5674 the summer7019 is ended,3615 and we are not saved.3467

21 For the hurt7667 of the daughter1323 of my people5971 am I hurt;7665 I am black;6937 astonishment8047 has taken2388 hold2388 on me.

22 Is there no369 balm6875 in Gilead;1568 is there no369 physician7495 there?8033 why4069 then3588 is not the health724 of the daughter1323 of my people5971 recovered?5927

2 И раскидают их под солнцем, и под луной, и под звездами небесными, которые им были столь желанны и которым они служили. За ними следовали они, к ним устремлялись и поклонялись им. Не соберут эти кости и не похоронят, будут они брошены на землю, словно навоз.

2 And they shall spread7849 them before the sun,8121 and the moon,3394 and all3605 the host6635 of heaven,8064 whom834 they have loved,157 and whom834 they have served,5647 and after310 whom834 they have walked,1980 and whom they have sought,1875 and whom834 they have worshipped:7812 they shall not be gathered,622 nor3808 be buried;6912 they shall be for dung1828 on the face6440 of the earth.127

3 Но все оставшиеся в живых из этого злого племени предпочтут смерть жизни, так будет повсюду, куда бы Я ни изгнал их», — ГОСПОДОМ Воинств сказано это.

3 And death4194 shall be chosen977 rather than life2416 by all3605 the residue7611 of them that remain7604 of this2063 evil7451 family,4940 which remain7604 in all3605 the places4725 where834 8033 I have driven5080 them, said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

7 Даже аист в небе знает свое время, голубь, ласточка и журавль точно в срок возвращаются с юга, а народ Мой не знает предписаний ГОСПОДНИХ.

7 Yes,1571 the stork2624 in the heaven8064 knows3045 her appointed4150 times;6256 and the turtle8449 and the crane5483 and the swallow5693 observe8104 the time6256 of their coming;935 but my people5971 know3045 not the judgment4941 of the LORD.3068

8 Как вы можете говорить о себе: „Мы мудры, ведь нам дарован Закон ГОСПОДА“? Посмотрите, лживое перо книжников его превратило в обман.

8 How349 do you say,559 We are wise,2450 and the law8451 of the LORD3068 is with us? See,2009 certainly403 in vain8267 made6213 he it; the pen5842 of the scribes5608 is in vain.8267

9 Постыжены будут мудрецы, страх обуяет их, и будут они пойманы. Воистину слово ГОСПОДНЕ они отвергли. В чем же их мудрость?

9 The wise2450 men are ashamed,954 they are dismayed2865 and taken: see,2009 they have rejected3988 the word1697 of the LORD;3068 and what4100 wisdom2451 is in them?

10 Потому Я отдам их жен чужим, поля их — поработителям. Ведь все они, от мала до велика, жаждут прибыли неправедной. Каждый, от пророка до священника, поступает по лжи.

10 Therefore3651 will I give5414 their wives802 to others,312 and their fields7704 to them that shall inherit3423 them: for every3605 one from the least6996 even to the greatest1419 is given to covetousness,1215 from the prophet5030 even to the priest3548 every3605 one deals6213 falsely.8267

11 Нерадивы они к врачеванию ран народа Моего, „Мир, мир“, — говорят они, тогда как мира нет.

12 Творили они постыдное и мерзкое, но не стыдились, и никто не заставит их краснеть. Потому падут среди погибающих и, когда буду Я взыскивать с них, не устоят, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ. —

15 Мира мы ждали, но нет добра, ждали исцеления, но только ужас постиг нас.
