Глава 25

1 Слово, которое было Иеремии о всем народе иудейском в четвертый год правления Иоакима, сына Иосии, царя иудейского (это был первый год правления Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского).

2 Вот что сказал пророк Иеремия всему народу иудейскому и всем жителям Иерусалима:

3 «С тринадцатого года правления Иосии, сына Амона, царя иудейского, и до сего дня вот уже двадцать три года ГОСПОДЬ обращался ко мне со словом Своим. А я настойчиво обращался к вам и убеждал вас, но вы не слушали.

4 И хотя ГОСПОДЬ продолжал настойчиво посылать к вам слуг своих, пророков, вы не слушали их и не внимали словам,

5 которые они вам говорили: „Да оставит каждый из вас путь зла и злодеяния свои, чтобы жить на этой земле, которую ГОСПОДЬ даровал вам и отцам вашим на веки веков.

6 Не следуйте за чужими богами, не служите им и не поклоняйтесь, не вызывайте гнева Моего делами рук своих, и тогда Я не буду посылать вам беды.

7 Но вы не послушались Меня, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — вызвали гнев Мой делами рук своих себе на беду“.

8 Потому так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „За то, что вы не послушались слов Моих,

9 Я подниму все племена северные и слугу Моего Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — и поведу их против этой страны, и против ее народа, и против всех соседних народов, и предам их уничтожению, сделаю так, что будут они наводить ужас, на осмеяние обреку, обращу города в вечные развалины.

10 Положу Я конец их веселью и радости, возгласам жениха и невесты, шуму жерновов и погашу огонь в светильнике.

11 Превратится вся эта земля в развалины и пустыню, и будут народы эти в рабстве у царя Вавилона семьдесят лет.

12 А когда пройдет семьдесят лет, Я взыщу с самого царя вавилонского, и его народа, и всей страны халдейской за их преступления, — таково слово ГОСПОДНЕ, — и обреку их землю на вечное опустошение.

13 Пошлю Я на землю их все бедствия, которые предвещал ей, и исполню пророчества Иеремии, записанные в этом свитке обо всех племенах.

14 Ибо и халдеи окажутся в рабстве у многих народов, у многих царей великих, и воздам Я им по делам, по их поступкам“.

15 Так сказал мне ГОСПОДЬ, Бог Израиля: „Возьми у Меня из рук эту чашу с вином ярости и напои им все племена, к которым Я пошлю тебя.

16 Выпьют они его, зашатаются и обезумеют от меча, который Я пошлю на них“.

17 И взял я чашу из рук ГОСПОДА и напоил из нее все народы, к которым послал меня ГОСПОДЬ:

18 Иерусалим и все города Иудеи, царей ее и вельмож, чтобы постигло их опустошение и чтобы наводили они ужас, и осмеянию подверглись, и стали проклятием у всех на устах, как это и есть ныне.

19 Напоил и фараона, царя египетского, и слуг его, и вельмож, и весь народ его,

20 и всех чужеземцев среди них: дал испить эту чашу всем царям земли Уц, и всем царям страны филистимской, и Ашкелону, и Аззе, и Экрону, и оставшимся в Ашдоде,

21 и Эдому, и Моаву, и сынам Аммона,

22 и всем царям Тира, и всем царям Сидона, и всем царям островов, что за морем,

23 напоил и Дедан, и Тему, и Буз, и всех выстригающих себе виски,

24 всех царей аравийских, и всех царей разных народов, что обитают в пустыне,

25 всех царей Зимри, и всех царей Элама, и всех царей Мидии,

26 всех царей северных — и далеко живущих и поблизости, и все царства земные, какие только есть на земле, — а царь Шешаха выпьет эту чашу гнева Господнего последним.

27 И тогда ты им скажешь: „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „Пейте, напивайтесь допьяна, исходите рвотой и падайте, не подняться вам более от меча, который Я посылаю на вас“.

28 А если они откажутся брать чашу из твоих рук и пить из нее не станут, тогда скажи им: „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „Неминуемо придется вам испить ее!

29 Смотрите: пошлю Я сейчас беду на город, что носит имя Мое, — разве удастся вам избежать наказания? Не останетесь вы безнаказанными, ибо призываю Я меч на всех обитателей земли“, — таково слово ГОСПОДА Воинств“.

30 Изреки, Иеремия, все эти слова, скажи им: „С высот возгремит ГОСПОДЬ, раздастся голос Его из святого жилища, возгремит на овчарню Свою; возликует, как давильщики винограда, возгремит против всех обитателей земли.

31 Донесутся раскаты до края земли, ибо тяжба у ГОСПОДА с народами, над каждым смертным Он суд вершит, нечестивых мечу предает“, — таково слово ГОСПОДА.

32 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „Беда идет от народа к народу, буря великая поднимается от самого края земли“.

33 В тот день будет устлана земля от края и до края убитыми ГОСПОДОМ. Некому будет ни оплакать их, ни собрать их, ни похоронить, будут они брошены на землю, словно навоз.

34 Рыдайте, пастыри, кричите во весь голос, посыпьте голову пеплом, вожди стада, ибо пришло время заклания вашего — все вы будете рассеяны, брошены и разбиты, как сосуд драгоценный.

35 Негде будет укрыться пастырям, вожди стада не спасутся.

36 Слышится плач пастырей, вопль вождей стада — уничтожает ГОСПОДЬ их пастбища,

37 разрушены мирные обители пылающим гневом ГОСПОДНИМ.

38 Он как лев, что покинул логово, — разорил Он всю землю безжалостным мечом поработителя в яростном гневе Своем».

2 The which834 Jeremiah3414 the prophet5030 spoke1696 to all3605 the people5971 of Judah,3063 and to all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem,3389 saying,559

3 From the thirteenth7969 6240 year8141 of Josiah2977 the son1121 of Amon526 king4428 of Judah,3063 even to this2088 day,3117 that is the three7969 and twentieth6242 year,8141 the word1697 of the LORD3068 has come1961 to me, and I have spoken1696 to you, rising7925 early7925 and speaking;1696 but you have not listened.8085

4 And the LORD3068 has sent7971 to you all3605 his servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising7925 early7925 and sending7971 them; but you have not listened,8085 nor3808 inclined5186 your ear241 to hear.8085

5 They said,559 Turn7725 you again7725 now4994 every376 one376 from his evil7451 way,1870 and from the evil7455 of your doings,4611 and dwell3427 in the land127 that the LORD3068 has given5414 to you and to your fathers1 for ever5769 and ever:5769

6 And go3212 not after310 other312 gods430 to serve5647 them, and to worship7812 them, and provoke me not to anger3707 with the works4639 of your hands;3027 and I will do you no3808 hurt.7489

7 Yet you have not listened8085 to me, said5002 the LORD;3068 that you might provoke me to anger3707 with the works4639 of your hands3027 to your own hurt.7451

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Because3282 834 you have not heard8085 my words,1697

9 Behold,2005 I will send7971 and take3947 all3605 the families4940 of the north,6828 said5002 the LORD,3068 and Nebuchadrezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 my servant,5650 and will bring935 them against5921 this2063 land,776 and against5921 the inhabitants3427 thereof, and against5921 all3605 these428 nations1471 round5439 about, and will utterly destroy2763 them, and make7760 them an astonishment,8047 and an hissing,8322 and perpetual5769 desolations.2723

10 Moreover I will take6 from them the voice6963 of mirth,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride,3618 the sound6963 of the millstones,7347 and the light216 of the candle.5216

11 And this2063 whole3605 land776 shall be a desolation,2723 and an astonishment;8047 and these428 nations1471 shall serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894 seventy7657 years.8141

12 And it shall come1961 to pass, when seventy7657 years8141 are accomplished,4390 that I will punish6485 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that nation,1471 said5002 the LORD,3068 for their iniquity,5771 and the land776 of the Chaldeans,3778 and will make7760 it perpetual5769 desolations.8077

13 And I will bring935 on that land776 all3605 my words1697 which834 I have pronounced1696 against5921 it, even all3605 that is written3789 in this2088 book,5612 which834 Jeremiah3414 has prophesied5012 against5921 all3605 the nations.1471

14 For many7227 nations1471 and great1419 kings4428 shall serve5647 themselves of them also:1571 and I will recompense7999 them according to their deeds,6467 and according to the works4639 of their own hands.3027

15 For thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 to me; Take3947 the wine3196 cup3563 of this2063 fury2534 at my hand,3027 and cause all3605 the nations,1471 to whom834 413 I send7971 you, to drink8248 it.

16 And they shall drink,8354 and be moved,1607 and be mad,1984 because6440 of the sword2719 that I will send7971 among996 them.

17 Then took3947 I the cup3563 at the LORD's3068 hand,3027 and made all3605 the nations1471 to drink,8248 to whom834 413 the LORD3068 had sent7971 me:

18 To wit, Jerusalem,3389 and the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and the kings4428 thereof, and the princes8269 thereof, to make5414 them a desolation,2723 an astonishment,8047 an hissing,8322 and a curse;7045 as it is this2088 day;3117

19 Pharaoh6547 king4428 of Egypt,4714 and his servants,5650 and his princes,8269 and all3605 his people;5971

20 And all3605 the mingled6154 people, and all3605 the kings4428 of the land776 of Uz,5780 and all3605 the kings4428 of the land776 of the Philistines,6430 and Ashkelon,831 and Azzah,5804 and Ekron,6138 and the remnant7611 of Ashdod,795

21 Edom,123 and Moab,4124 and the children1121 of Ammon,5983

22 And all3605 the kings4428 of Tyrus,6865 and all3605 the kings4428 of Zidon,6721 and the kings4428 of the isles339 which834 are beyond5676 the sea,3220

23 Dedan,1719 and Tema,8485 and Buz,938 and all3605 that are in the utmost7112 corners,6285

24 And all3605 the kings4428 of Arabia,6152 and all3605 the kings4428 of the mingled6154 people that dwell7931 in the desert,4057

25 And all3605 the kings4428 of Zimri,2174 and all3605 the kings4428 of Elam,5867 and all3605 the kings4428 of the Medes,4074

26 And all3605 the kings4428 of the north,6828 far7350 and near,7138 one376 with another,251 and all3605 the kingdoms4467 of the world,776 which834 are on the face6440 of the earth:127 and the king4428 of Sheshach8347 shall drink8354 after310 them.

27 Therefore you shall say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Drink8354 you, and be drunken,7937 and spew,7006 and fall,5307 and rise6965 no3808 more, because6440 of the sword2719 which834 I will send7971 among996 you.

28 And it shall be, if they refuse3985 to take3947 the cup3563 at your hand3027 to drink,8354 then shall you say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 You shall certainly drink.8354

29 For, see,2009 I begin2490 to bring evil7489 on the city5892 which834 is called7121 by my name,8034 and should you be utterly unpunished?5352 You shall not be unpunished:5352 for I will call7121 for a sword2719 on all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the earth,776 said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

30 Therefore prophesy5012 you against413 them all3605 these428 words,1697 and say559 to them, The LORD3068 shall roar7580 from on high,4791 and utter5414 his voice6963 from his holy6944 habitation;4583 he shall mightily roar7580 on his habitation;5116 he shall give a shout,6030 1959 as they that tread1869 the grapes, against413 all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the earth.776

31 A noise7588 shall come935 even to the ends7097 of the earth;776 for the LORD3068 has a controversy7379 with the nations,1471 he will plead8199 with all3605 flesh;1320 he will give5414 them that are wicked7563 to the sword,2719 said5002 the LORD.3068

32 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 Behold,2009 evil7451 shall go3318 forth3318 from nation1471 to nation,1471 and a great1419 whirlwind5591 shall be raised5782 up from the coasts3411 of the earth.776

33 And the slain2491 of the LORD3068 shall be at that day3117 from one end7097 of the earth776 even to the other end7097 of the earth:776 they shall not be lamented,5594 neither3808 gathered,622 nor3808 buried;6912 they shall be dung1828 on the ground.127

34 Howl,3213 you shepherds,7462 and cry;2199 and wallow6428 yourselves in the ashes, you principal117 of the flock:6629 for the days3117 of your slaughter2873 and of your dispersions8600 are accomplished;4390 and you shall fall5307 like a pleasant2532 vessel.3627

35 And the shepherds7462 shall have no4480 way4498 to flee,4498 nor the principal117 of the flock6629 to escape.6413

36 A voice6963 of the cry6818 of the shepherds,7462 and an howling3213 of the principal117 of the flock,6629 shall be heard:8085 for the LORD3068 has spoiled7703 their pasture.4830

37 And the peaceable7965 habitations4999 are cut1826 down because6440 of the fierce2740 anger639 of the LORD.3068

38 He has forsaken5800 his covert,5520 as the lion:3715 for their land776 is desolate8047 because6440 of the fierceness2740 of the oppressor,3238 and because6440 of his fierce2740 anger.639

4 И хотя ГОСПОДЬ продолжал настойчиво посылать к вам слуг своих, пророков, вы не слушали их и не внимали словам,

4 And the LORD3068 has sent7971 to you all3605 his servants5650 the prophets,5030 rising7925 early7925 and sending7971 them; but you have not listened,8085 nor3808 inclined5186 your ear241 to hear.8085

5 которые они вам говорили: „Да оставит каждый из вас путь зла и злодеяния свои, чтобы жить на этой земле, которую ГОСПОДЬ даровал вам и отцам вашим на веки веков.

7 Yet you have not listened8085 to me, said5002 the LORD;3068 that you might provoke me to anger3707 with the works4639 of your hands3027 to your own hurt.7451

8 Потому так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „За то, что вы не послушались слов Моих,

8 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Because3282 834 you have not heard8085 my words,1697

9 Я подниму все племена северные и слугу Моего Навуходоносора, царя вавилонского, — говорит ГОСПОДЬ, — и поведу их против этой страны, и против ее народа, и против всех соседних народов, и предам их уничтожению, сделаю так, что будут они наводить ужас, на осмеяние обреку, обращу города в вечные развалины.

9 Behold,2005 I will send7971 and take3947 all3605 the families4940 of the north,6828 said5002 the LORD,3068 and Nebuchadrezzar5019 the king4428 of Babylon,894 my servant,5650 and will bring935 them against5921 this2063 land,776 and against5921 the inhabitants3427 thereof, and against5921 all3605 these428 nations1471 round5439 about, and will utterly destroy2763 them, and make7760 them an astonishment,8047 and an hissing,8322 and perpetual5769 desolations.2723

10 Положу Я конец их веселью и радости, возгласам жениха и невесты, шуму жерновов и погашу огонь в светильнике.

10 Moreover I will take6 from them the voice6963 of mirth,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride,3618 the sound6963 of the millstones,7347 and the light216 of the candle.5216

11 Превратится вся эта земля в развалины и пустыню, и будут народы эти в рабстве у царя Вавилона семьдесят лет.

11 And this2063 whole3605 land776 shall be a desolation,2723 and an astonishment;8047 and these428 nations1471 shall serve5647 the king4428 of Babylon894 seventy7657 years.8141

12 А когда пройдет семьдесят лет, Я взыщу с самого царя вавилонского, и его народа, и всей страны халдейской за их преступления, — таково слово ГОСПОДНЕ, — и обреку их землю на вечное опустошение.

12 And it shall come1961 to pass, when seventy7657 years8141 are accomplished,4390 that I will punish6485 the king4428 of Babylon,894 and that nation,1471 said5002 the LORD,3068 for their iniquity,5771 and the land776 of the Chaldeans,3778 and will make7760 it perpetual5769 desolations.8077

13 Пошлю Я на землю их все бедствия, которые предвещал ей, и исполню пророчества Иеремии, записанные в этом свитке обо всех племенах.

14 Ибо и халдеи окажутся в рабстве у многих народов, у многих царей великих, и воздам Я им по делам, по их поступкам“.

15 Так сказал мне ГОСПОДЬ, Бог Израиля: „Возьми у Меня из рук эту чашу с вином ярости и напои им все племена, к которым Я пошлю тебя.

15 For thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 to me; Take3947 the wine3196 cup3563 of this2063 fury2534 at my hand,3027 and cause all3605 the nations,1471 to whom834 413 I send7971 you, to drink8248 it.

16 Выпьют они его, зашатаются и обезумеют от меча, который Я пошлю на них“.

16 And they shall drink,8354 and be moved,1607 and be mad,1984 because6440 of the sword2719 that I will send7971 among996 them.

17 И взял я чашу из рук ГОСПОДА и напоил из нее все народы, к которым послал меня ГОСПОДЬ:

17 Then took3947 I the cup3563 at the LORD's3068 hand,3027 and made all3605 the nations1471 to drink,8248 to whom834 413 the LORD3068 had sent7971 me:

18 Иерусалим и все города Иудеи, царей ее и вельмож, чтобы постигло их опустошение и чтобы наводили они ужас, и осмеянию подверглись, и стали проклятием у всех на устах, как это и есть ныне.

27 И тогда ты им скажешь: „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств, Бог Израиля: „Пейте, напивайтесь допьяна, исходите рвотой и падайте, не подняться вам более от меча, который Я посылаю на вас“.

28 А если они откажутся брать чашу из твоих рук и пить из нее не станут, тогда скажи им: „Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „Неминуемо придется вам испить ее!

28 And it shall be, if they refuse3985 to take3947 the cup3563 at your hand3027 to drink,8354 then shall you say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 You shall certainly drink.8354

29 Смотрите: пошлю Я сейчас беду на город, что носит имя Мое, — разве удастся вам избежать наказания? Не останетесь вы безнаказанными, ибо призываю Я меч на всех обитателей земли“, — таково слово ГОСПОДА Воинств“.

29 For, see,2009 I begin2490 to bring evil7489 on the city5892 which834 is called7121 by my name,8034 and should you be utterly unpunished?5352 You shall not be unpunished:5352 for I will call7121 for a sword2719 on all3605 the inhabitants3427 of the earth,776 said5002 the LORD3068 of hosts.6635

30 Изреки, Иеремия, все эти слова, скажи им: „С высот возгремит ГОСПОДЬ, раздастся голос Его из святого жилища, возгремит на овчарню Свою; возликует, как давильщики винограда, возгремит против всех обитателей земли.

31 Донесутся раскаты до края земли, ибо тяжба у ГОСПОДА с народами, над каждым смертным Он суд вершит, нечестивых мечу предает“, — таково слово ГОСПОДА.

31 A noise7588 shall come935 even to the ends7097 of the earth;776 for the LORD3068 has a controversy7379 with the nations,1471 he will plead8199 with all3605 flesh;1320 he will give5414 them that are wicked7563 to the sword,2719 said5002 the LORD.3068

32 Так говорит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств: „Беда идет от народа к народу, буря великая поднимается от самого края земли“.

32 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 Behold,2009 evil7451 shall go3318 forth3318 from nation1471 to nation,1471 and a great1419 whirlwind5591 shall be raised5782 up from the coasts3411 of the earth.776

33 В тот день будет устлана земля от края и до края убитыми ГОСПОДОМ. Некому будет ни оплакать их, ни собрать их, ни похоронить, будут они брошены на землю, словно навоз.

33 And the slain2491 of the LORD3068 shall be at that day3117 from one end7097 of the earth776 even to the other end7097 of the earth:776 they shall not be lamented,5594 neither3808 gathered,622 nor3808 buried;6912 they shall be dung1828 on the ground.127

34 Рыдайте, пастыри, кричите во весь голос, посыпьте голову пеплом, вожди стада, ибо пришло время заклания вашего — все вы будете рассеяны, брошены и разбиты, как сосуд драгоценный.

34 Howl,3213 you shepherds,7462 and cry;2199 and wallow6428 yourselves in the ashes, you principal117 of the flock:6629 for the days3117 of your slaughter2873 and of your dispersions8600 are accomplished;4390 and you shall fall5307 like a pleasant2532 vessel.3627

35 Негде будет укрыться пастырям, вожди стада не спасутся.

35 And the shepherds7462 shall have no4480 way4498 to flee,4498 nor the principal117 of the flock6629 to escape.6413

36 Слышится плач пастырей, вопль вождей стада — уничтожает ГОСПОДЬ их пастбища,

36 A voice6963 of the cry6818 of the shepherds,7462 and an howling3213 of the principal117 of the flock,6629 shall be heard:8085 for the LORD3068 has spoiled7703 their pasture.4830

37 разрушены мирные обители пылающим гневом ГОСПОДНИМ.

37 And the peaceable7965 habitations4999 are cut1826 down because6440 of the fierce2740 anger639 of the LORD.3068

38 Он как лев, что покинул логово, — разорил Он всю землю безжалостным мечом поработителя в яростном гневе Своем».

38 He has forsaken5800 his covert,5520 as the lion:3715 for their land776 is desolate8047 because6440 of the fierceness2740 of the oppressor,3238 and because6440 of his fierce2740 anger.639
