Chapter 18

1 THEN the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.

2 And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance.

3 And Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long will you be backward about going in and possessing the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?

4 Choose for yourselves three men from each tribe; and I will send them, and they shall rise and go through the land, and survey and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come again to me.

5 And they shall divide the land into seven parts; Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north.

6 And you shall therefore map out the land into seven parts, and then bring the map here, and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

7 But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance; and Gad and Reuben and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan to the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.

8 And the men arose and went away; and Joshua charged those who went to map the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and map it, and come again here to me, that I may cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.

9 And the men went and passed through the land, and mapped it by towns into seven parts on a scroll, and came again to Joshua at the city of Shiloh.

10 And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD; and there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel into districts.

11 And the lot of the tribe of Benjamin came up according to their families; and the territory of their inheritance came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

12 And their border on the north side was from the Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountain westward; and the extreme limits thereof were at the wilderness of Beth-aon.

13 And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, that is Beth-el, southward; then the border descended to Ataroth-adar, upon the mountain that lies south of lower Beth-hauran.

14 And the border extended to the side of the sea southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth-hauran southward; and the limits thereof were at Koriath-baal, which is Koriath-narin, a city of the children of Judah: this is the sea side.

15 And the southern boundary was from the end of Koriath-narin, and the border went out to the sea, and went out to the fountain of waters of Naphtali:

16 Then the border descended to the end of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of the Giants on the north, and went down to the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusites on the south, then descended to En-dogel,

17 And was drawn from the north, and went to the En-shemesh, and thence towards Galilee, which is opposite the ascent of Ramin, then descended to Leban, and Bohan which belonged to the son of Reuben,

18 And passed along towards the side which is opposite the plain northward, and went down to the plain;

19 Then the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward; and the limits of the border were at the northern bay of the Salt Sea at the side of the Jordan southward; this was the south border.

20 And the Jordan was its border on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders thereof round about, according to their families.

21 Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth-hoglah, Amak, and Keziz,

22 Beth-arabah, Zemaraim, Beth-el,

23 Avin, Parah, Ophrah,

24 Chephar-aomka, Ophli, and Gaba; fourteen cities with their villages;

25 Gibeon, Ramtha, Beeroth,

26 Mizpah, Chepirah, Mozah,

27 Rakim, Repeel, Taralah,

28 Zelah, Geberah, and Jebusi, that is, Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Koriathaim; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

1 Все израильтяне собрались в Силоме; поставили там шатёр собрания, потому что та земля была покорена израильтянами, так как они разгромили в ней всех своих врагов.

2 Но к тому времени семь колен Израиля ещё не получили землю, которую обещал им Бог.

3 Тогда Иисус сказал народу Израиля: «Почему же вы так долго собираетесь взять свою землю? Господь, Бог отцов ваших, отдал эту землю вам.

4 Каждому колену необходимо выбрать по три человека, которых я пошлю размежевать землю. Составив детальное описание этой земли, они вернутся ко мне.

5 Они разделят землю на семь частей. Народ Иуды останется в своей земле на юге. Колено Иосифа пусть останется на своей земле на севере.

6 Вам необходимо составить описание этой земли, а затем разделить её на семь частей. Принесите мне эту карту! Давайте бросим жребий, и пусть Господь, Бог наш, решит, какая земля достанется каждому из колен.

7 Колено левитов не получит доли земли. Их доля — служить священниками Господу. Гад, Рувим и половина колена Манассии уже получили обещанную им землю. Она за Иорданом, на восточной стороне. Моисей, слуга Господа, уже дал им ту землю».

8 И люди, которые были избраны, пошли посмотреть на землю. Они намеревались составить описание той земли и принести его Иисусу, который сказал им перед уходом: «Идите, изучите землю и составьте описание того, что вы видели, а затем возвращайтесь ко мне в Силом. Тогда я брошу жребий, и пусть Господь разделит эту землю для вас».

9 Они пошли по этой земле и, изучив её, составили для Иисуса детальное описание увиденного. Они описали каждый город и разделили землю на семь частей, а потом вернулись к Иисусу в Силом.

10 Иисус бросил в Силоме для них жребий перед Господом, разделил землю и дал каждому колену его часть земли.

11 Колено Вениамина получило землю, которая была расположена между землями Иуды и Иосифа. Каждый род из колена Вениамина получил свою землю. Вот земля, которую выбрали для колена Вениамина:

12 её северная граница начиналась у реки Иордан, шла вдоль северной стороны Иерихона, затем поворачивала на запад, поднималась в горную местность и доходила до восточной стороны Беф-Авена.

13 Граница шла на юг к Лузу (Вефилю), спускалась к горе Атароф-Адар, которая расположена на южной стороне Нижнего Беф-Орона.

14 С горы Беф-Орон граница поворачивала на юг и шла вдоль её западной стороны к Кириаф-Ваалу (называемому также Кириаф-Иарим), принадлежавшему колену Иуды. Это была западная граница.

15 Южная граница начиналась около Кириаф-Иарима и шла к реке Нефтоах.

18 Граница шла к северной части Беф-Арава и спускалась в долину реки Иордан.

19 Затем она шла к северной части Беф-Хоглы и оканчивалась у северного берега Мёртвого моря, там, где в море впадает река Иордан. Это была южная граница.

20 Река Иордан служила восточной границей. Такова была земля, данная колену Вениамина, и таковы были её пределы со всех сторон.

21 Каждый род получил свою землю. Вот города, принадлежащие им: Иерихон, Беф-Хогла, Емек-Кециц,

22 Беф-Арава, Цемараим, Вефиль,

23 Аввим, Фара, Офра,

24 Кефар-Аммонай, Афни и Гева. Всего двенадцать городов и поля вокруг них.

25 Колено Вениамина получило также следующие города: Гаваон, Рама, Беероф,

26 Мицфа, Кефира, Моца,

27 Рекем, Ирфеил, Фарала,

2 Но к тому времени семь колен Израиля ещё не получили землю, которую обещал им Бог.

3 And Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long will you be backward about going in and possessing the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?

3 Тогда Иисус сказал народу Израиля: «Почему же вы так долго собираетесь взять свою землю? Господь, Бог отцов ваших, отдал эту землю вам.

5 And they shall divide the land into seven parts; Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north.

5 Они разделят землю на семь частей. Народ Иуды останется в своей земле на юге. Колено Иосифа пусть останется на своей земле на севере.

6 And you shall therefore map out the land into seven parts, and then bring the map here, and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

6 Вам необходимо составить описание этой земли, а затем разделить её на семь частей. Принесите мне эту карту! Давайте бросим жребий, и пусть Господь, Бог наш, решит, какая земля достанется каждому из колен.

8 And the men arose and went away; and Joshua charged those who went to map the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and map it, and come again here to me, that I may cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.

8 И люди, которые были избраны, пошли посмотреть на землю. Они намеревались составить описание той земли и принести его Иисусу, который сказал им перед уходом: «Идите, изучите землю и составьте описание того, что вы видели, а затем возвращайтесь ко мне в Силом. Тогда я брошу жребий, и пусть Господь разделит эту землю для вас».

9 And the men went and passed through the land, and mapped it by towns into seven parts on a scroll, and came again to Joshua at the city of Shiloh.

9 Они пошли по этой земле и, изучив её, составили для Иисуса детальное описание увиденного. Они описали каждый город и разделили землю на семь частей, а потом вернулись к Иисусу в Силом.

10 And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD; and there Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel into districts.

10 Иисус бросил в Силоме для них жребий перед Господом, разделил землю и дал каждому колену его часть земли.

11 And the lot of the tribe of Benjamin came up according to their families; and the territory of their inheritance came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.

11 Колено Вениамина получило землю, которая была расположена между землями Иуды и Иосифа. Каждый род из колена Вениамина получил свою землю. Вот земля, которую выбрали для колена Вениамина:

12 And their border on the north side was from the Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountain westward; and the extreme limits thereof were at the wilderness of Beth-aon.

12 её северная граница начиналась у реки Иордан, шла вдоль северной стороны Иерихона, затем поворачивала на запад, поднималась в горную местность и доходила до восточной стороны Беф-Авена.

14 С горы Беф-Орон граница поворачивала на юг и шла вдоль её западной стороны к Кириаф-Ваалу (называемому также Кириаф-Иарим), принадлежавшему колену Иуды. Это была западная граница.

15 And the southern boundary was from the end of Koriath-narin, and the border went out to the sea, and went out to the fountain of waters of Naphtali:

15 Южная граница начиналась около Кириаф-Иарима и шла к реке Нефтоах.

16 Then the border descended to the end of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of the Giants on the north, and went down to the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusites on the south, then descended to En-dogel,

19 Then the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward; and the limits of the border were at the northern bay of the Salt Sea at the side of the Jordan southward; this was the south border.

19 Затем она шла к северной части Беф-Хоглы и оканчивалась у северного берега Мёртвого моря, там, где в море впадает река Иордан. Это была южная граница.

20 And the Jordan was its border on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders thereof round about, according to their families.
