2 Своими ушами мы слышали, Боже, рассказы наших отцов о том, что совершал Ты испокон веков.

3 Великой силою Своею, Боже, отнял Ты землю эту у других народов и нам её отдал. Ты сокрушил всех тех, кто жил там раньше, и эту землю вынудил оставить.

4 Не мечом наши отцы добыли землю, не рукой своей победу обрели, а лишь благодаря Твоей великой силе, поскольку Ты их полюбил и приблизил их к Себе.

5 Бог мой, Ты — мой Царь! Твоим повелением народ Иакова победит врага.
