2 Боже, мы сами слышали, отцы наши рассказывали нам о делах, Тобой совершённых в их дни, во времена древние.

3 Ты рукою Своею изгнал язычников — на их земле поселил отцов наших; народы Ханаана уничтожил, а отцам нашим простор дал.

4 Не своим мечом овладели они землей этой, и не их сила доставила им победу, но Твоя рука правая, рука и доброта Твоя — благоволил Ты к ним.

5 Боже, Ты Царь мой, пусть же по веленью Твоему Иаков победы одерживает!
