Chapter 6

1 Now these2063 are the commandments,4687 the statutes,2706 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 commanded6680 to teach3925 you, that you might do6213 them in the land776 where834 8033 you go5674 to possess3423 it:

2 That you might fear3372 the LORD3068 your God,430 to keep8104 all3605 his statutes2708 and his commandments,4687 which834 I command6680 you, you, and your son,1121 and your son's1121 son,1121 all3605 the days3117 of your life;2416 and that your days3117 may be prolonged.748

3 Hear8085 therefore, O Israel,3478 and observe8104 to do6213 it; that it may be well3190 with you, and that you may increase7235 mightily,3966 as the LORD3068 God430 of your fathers1 has promised1696 you, in the land776 that flows2100 with milk2461 and honey.1706

4 Hear,8085 O Israel:3478 The LORD3068 our God430 is one259 LORD:3068

5 And you shall love157 the LORD3068 your God430 with all3605 your heart,3824 and with all3605 your soul,5315 and with all3605 your might.3966

6 And these428 words,1697 which834 I command6680 you this day,3117 shall be in your heart:3824

7 And you shall teach8150 them diligently8150 to your children,1121 and shall talk1696 of them when you sit3427 in your house,1004 and when you walk3212 by the way,1870 and when you lie7901 down,7901 and when you rise6965 up.

8 And you shall bind7194 them for a sign226 on your hand,3027 and they shall be as frontlets2903 between996 your eyes.5869

9 And you shall write3789 them on the posts4201 of your house,1004 and on5921 your gates.8179

10 And it shall be, when3588 the LORD3068 your God430 shall have brought935 you into413 the land776 which834 he swore7650 to your fathers,1 to Abraham,85 to Isaac,3327 and to Jacob,3290 to give5414 you great1419 and goodly2896 cities,5892 which834 you built1129 not,

11 And houses1004 full4392 of all3605 good2898 things, which834 you filled4390 not, and wells953 dig,2672 which834 you digged2672 not, vineyards3754 and olive2132 trees, which834 you planted5193 not; when you shall have eaten398 and be full;7646

12 Then beware8104 lest6435 you forget7911 the LORD,3068 which834 brought3318 you forth3318 out of the land776 of Egypt,4714 from the house1004 of bondage.5650

13 You shall fear3372 the LORD3068 your God,430 and serve5647 him, and shall swear7650 by his name.8034

14 You shall not go3212 after310 other312 gods,430 of the gods430 of the people5971 which834 are round5439 about you;

15 (For the LORD3068 your God430 is a jealous7067 God410 among7130 you) lest6435 the anger639 of the LORD3068 your God430 be kindled2734 against you, and destroy8045 you from off5921 the face6440 of the earth.127

16 You shall not tempt5254 the LORD3068 your God,430 as you tempted5254 him in Massah.4532

17 You shall diligently keep8104 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 your God,430 and his testimonies,5713 and his statutes,2706 which834 he has commanded6680 you.

18 And you shall do6213 that which834 is right3477 and good2896 in the sight5869 of the LORD:3068 that it may be well3190 with you, and that you may go935 in and possess3423 the good2896 land776 which834 the LORD3068 swore7650 to your fathers.1

19 To cast1920 out all3605 your enemies341 from before6440 you, as the LORD3068 has spoken.1696

20 And when3588 your son1121 asks7592 you in time4279 to come,4279 saying,559 What4100 mean the testimonies,5713 and the statutes,2706 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 our God430 has commanded6680 you?

21 Then you shall say559 to your son,1121 We were Pharaoh's6547 slaves5650 in Egypt;4714 and the LORD3068 brought3318 us out of Egypt4714 with a mighty2389 hand:3027

22 And the LORD3068 showed5414 signs226 and wonders,4159 great1419 and sore,7451 on Egypt,4714 on Pharaoh,6547 and on all3605 his household,1004 before our eyes:5869

23 And he brought3318 us out from there,8033 that he might bring935 us in, to give5414 us the land776 which834 he swore7650 to our fathers.1

24 And the LORD3068 commanded6680 us to do6213 all3605 these428 statutes,2706 to fear3372 the LORD3068 our God,430 for our good2896 always,3605 3117 that he might preserve2421 us alive,2421 as it is at this2088 day.3117

25 And it shall be our righteousness,6666 if3588 we observe8104 to do6213 all3605 these2063 commandments4687 before6440 the LORD3068 our God,430 as he has commanded6680 us.

1 «Вот каким заповедям, законам и предписаниям повелел мне научить вас Господь, ваш Бог. Соблюдайте их на той земле, которую вы готовы принять в своё владение.

2 И вы, и потомки ваши почитайте Господа, Бога вашего, всю свою жизнь, соблюдайте все Его законы и заповеди, которые я вам передаю, чтобы ваша жизнь на новой земле была долгой.

3 Израильтяне, слушайте внимательно эти законы и исполняйте их, и будет у вас всё хорошо. Ваши дети будут многочисленны, а ваша земля переполнится всеми благами, как и обещал вам Господь, Бог предков ваших.

4 Слушай, народ Израиля! Господь — Бог наш, Господь — един!

5 Люби Господа всем сердцем своим, всей душой своей и всей силой своей

6 и всегда помни заповеди, которые я сегодня даю тебе!

7 Постоянно учи им своих детей и говори об этих законах, и находясь у себя дома, и когда идёшь по дороге, и когда ложишься, и когда встаёшь.

8 Привяжи их в напоминание на руку и носи их на лбу,

9 запиши на косяке двери своего дома и на воротах.

10 Господь, Бог твой, дал обещание твоим предкам, Аврааму, Исааку и Иакову, что отдаст тебе эту землю и великие, богатые города, которые ты не строил.

11 Господь даст тебе дома, полные добра, собранного не тобой, даст тебе колодцы, которые не ты вырыл, даст тебе виноградники и оливковые деревья, которые не ты посадил, и будет у тебя вдоволь еды.

12 Но смотри, не забывай Господа! Вы были рабами в Египте, но Господь вывел вас из Египетской земли,

13 так почитайте Господа, Бога вашего, служите только Ему и только Его именем клянитесь.

14 Не следуйте никаким другим богам, не следуйте богам народов, живущих вокруг вас.

15 Господь, Бог ваш, всегда с вами. Он не терпит, чтобы Его народ поклонялся другим богам! И поэтому, если вы обратитесь к другим богам, то Господь разгневается и сотрёт вас с лица земли.

16 Не искушайте Господа, Бога вашего, как искушали Его в Массе,

17 исполняйте все наставления и законы, которые Он дал вам.

18 Поступайте хорошо и правильно, так, как угодно Господу. Тогда всё у вас будет хорошо, и вы сможете пойти и завладеть благодатной землёй, которую Господь обещал вашим предкам,

19 и изгоните всех врагов ваших, как и сказал Господь.

20 И если в будущем твои дети спросят тебя: „Что означают те учения, законы и предписания, которые Бог дал вам?” —

21 то дай им такой ответ: „Мы были рабами фараона в Египте, но Господь Своей великой силой вывел нас из Египта.

22 Господь свершил великие и удивительные дела, мы видели, что Он сделал с египетским народом, с фараоном и со всеми его придворными.

23 Господь вывел нас из Египта, чтобы дать нам землю, обещанную нашим предкам,

24 и повелел нам следовать всем этим наставлениям. Мы должны почитать Господа, Бога нашего, и тогда Господь сохранит нам жизнь, и у нас всё будет так же хорошо, как и сегодня.

25 Если мы будем неукоснительно соблюдать все законы, как повелел нам Господь, Бог наш, то Бог сочтёт, что мы поступили праведно”».

18 Поступайте хорошо и правильно, так, как угодно Господу. Тогда всё у вас будет хорошо, и вы сможете пойти и завладеть благодатной землёй, которую Господь обещал вашим предкам,

19 To cast1920 out all3605 your enemies341 from before6440 you, as the LORD3068 has spoken.1696

19 и изгоните всех врагов ваших, как и сказал Господь.
