3 Es ist eine Stimme6963 eines Predigers7121 in der Wüste4057: Bereitet6437 dem HErrn3068 den Weg1870; machet auf dem Gefilde6160 eine ebene Bahn4546 unserm GOtt430!

21 Wisset ihr3045 nicht? Höret8085 ihr nicht? Ist‘s euch nicht vormals7218 verkündiget5046? Habt ihr‘s nicht verstanden995 von Anbeginn4146 der Erde776?

22 Er sitzt3427 über dem Kreis2329 der Erde776; und die darauf wohnen3427, sind wie Heuschrecken2284. Der den Himmel8064 ausdehnet wie ein dünn Fell1852 und breitet sie3427 aus5186 wie eine Hütte168, da man innen wohnet;

23 der die Fürsten7336 zunichte macht6213 und5414 die Richter8199 auf Erden776 eitel8414 macht,

27 Warum sprichst du559 denn, Jakob3290, und du, Israel3478, sagest: Mein Weg1870 ist1696 dem HErrn3068 verborgen5641, und mein Recht4941 gehet vor meinem GOtt430 über5674?

28 Weißt3045 du nicht? Hast du nicht gehört? Der HErr3068, der ewige5769 GOtt430, der die Enden7098 der Erde776 geschaffen1254 hat8085, wird nicht müde3286 noch matt3021; sein Verstand8394 ist unausforschlich2714.

29 Er gibt5414 dem7235 Müden3287 Kraft3581 und Stärke202 genug dem Unvermögenden.

30 Die Knaben werden3782 müde3286 und matt3021, und die Jünglinge5288 fallen3782;
